i love the grilled cheese from here! literally the only drive thru in chelan so if you're looking for a quick meal this is the place to go. i haven't tried the burgers but that's what my fiancé always gets and he's obsessed with them! i definitely recommend this place as it's local and the service is always great read more

We waited in the drive thru for over 30 minutes with four cars in front of us. Okay, that's not a big deal. When we get up to the window they say they only serve ice cream and drinks through the window and if we want food we have to get out and stand in line. No signage indicated this was the case and if so why did it take four cars 30 minutes just to get drinks and ice cream? We stopped by this place on our way home from Lake Chelan. I was very satisfied with everything that I had. My phone ran out of battery so I was unable to take any pictures of the food! :-( PROS: Location/ambiance: Outside seating with the beautiful lake and mountains in the background. The seating areas are covered with one large tarp and each table is covered with an umbrella so the blazing sun isn't shinning directly on you. Service: Friendly staff. If you just order just a milkshake, they will make it right away for you so you do not have to wait. Food: I hard the hamburger with bacon, fries and a chocolate-peanut butter milkshake. The bun was toasted. It was served with the basic, lettuce, onions and tomato. Their spread is amazing. The patty is juicy. Their fries are crinkle cut and it was freshly fried. Their fries sauce is the basic mayo and ketchup but it always taste to much better at burger joints than making it at home. Their milkshakes are on point! Made with real ice cream and fresh ingredients. The consistency is thick and creamy. CONS: Wait Time: Can be quite long depending on how busy they get. My last visit, we waited about 15-20 minutes for our food. Food: The only thing that could have improved was that the patty was rather thin. read more

So disappointed with the menu cuts. And those prices just keep climbing. It's a little hard to compete when you cut your menu, drive up the prices and you've got Chelan Market right across the street producing burgers and fries with great flavor that are twice the size for half the price. The last couple of times I got fish and chips the fish was so over cooked it was practically burnt and dry as a bone. Also, why did you take away the kids meals and salad dogs, why?! As a lifelong local I love supporting my local businesses but this is driving me away. :( read more

This is the best burger in Chelan. Bacon double cheeseburger with some classic crinkle cut fries! I highly suggest you get some of the homemade fry sauce! According to my wife it's excellent. Went here yesterday for the first time. Let me start by saying the food wasn't bad and it was pretty reasonably priced so they do have that going for them. The service on the other hand was pretty bad. With that said there is a couple things to think about. First of all it was super busy so I'll take that into consideration. But no matter how busy it was it shouldn't take 30 minutes for 4 burger meals with fries. Finally I get my number called and get back to my table. Keep in mind I have 4 burger meals so when I look in my bag of food and find 2 napkins I was a little frustrated but again not the end of the world. Now comes the hard part, getting the girls attention at the window. You see, she is there just to call out numbers. If she's not calling your number she will not give you the time of the day. So if you need more napkins or ketchup you're pretty much out of luck. So I'm at the window and I have to wait for the next person's number to be called. Girl comes to the window, hands the lady her food and when I say "can I get some more napkins" she just shuts the window in my face. Even a 16 year old kid made a comment at how rude it was. Also, if I have 4 tubs of fries please give me more than 4 packets of ketchup. Anyway, not trying to be too hard on this place. I get it, bunch of 16 year old kids working their first summer job I don't expect top notch service but they are pretty slow for a drive up joint. Such an awesome burger! Arrived perfectly cooked and condiment-ed and was quickly devoured. A burger with a view, who can beat that? The fries are the crinkle kind, which aren't really anything special. I opted for the onion rings and they were exceptional, hot and fresh! My mom got the chicken sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. The kid that took my order didn't tell me they used shredded lettuce so I was disappointed to find no lettuce wrapping my burger. This is ridiculous, we have been coming here for years and the menu has remained consistent forever. Now they have completely butchered the menu, cutting out about 80% of what was offered before! Now don't get me wrong, I can understand cutting out a couple of the lowest sellers. But how do you cut your ice cream selection down to 4 flavors?! And 4 random flavors at that? Also, you cut out any type of sundae, banana split and most of your shake flavors! The sign you posted said you had out grown your space, but you can't tell me that 80% of your freezer space disappeared, your building didn't shrink. You guys have run that place well for as long as I can remember, and but this totally sucks. I hope you reconsider these changes and bring back the place we love! read more

This is exactly what I crave on hot summer day's. It is the old style burger joint done perfectly. The fancy sauce (fry sauce - whatever) is delicious. I get the chicken burger, put the fry's in it and douse in fancy sauce. Nummmmm. You will have to wait, it is crowded and if you are in a hurry, move along. We try to hit the joint in off hours to avoid the inevitable irritability while watching other people eat the food that should be yours! Wish they were open year round. read more

This place is so fantastic! I only make it to Chelan about once a year, but when I do I make an effort to stop by Lakeview. Probably one of the tastier burger-joints in the state, you'll find pretty much everything you want when you're at a drive-in. Their bacon burger basket is a great value with fries! Staff is always very friendly and service is prompt. One thing I've always liked is that they tend to hire kids that are still in school, and instead of them using calculators to ring everything up, they do all of the math by hand. Good touch! Quick, cheap, easy & delicious!! This is the cutest drive in burger joint! Their menu is quite large which was kind of surprising, a million shake flavors and burger options, and the prices are very reasonable. I didn't get too adventurous and went for the cheeseburger, crinkle fries (which they're known for) and a chocolate shake. The wait for our food was a little long because it was pretty busy but fortunately that means they're just making it as you order, right? It's well worth the wait. They have plenty of picnic bench seating around the area with gorgeous views of Lake Chelan. It's walking distance from the little downtown Chelan area which is nice and convenient. Just had the Chicken Cordon Blu sandwich which is to die for and probably not too good for you, but it tastes great! We try to go there everytime we are in Chelan - and the trick is to call in your order first! Makes it so much easier - you just pull up to the window without getting out of your car, pay, and get your food! Some the best drive-in bergers around. I hope they stick around! This last Sunday they had a fire there and I don't know the extent of the damage, but I hope they can recover and get back to makin' those awesome Chicken Cordon Blu sandwiches! read more

Perfect burger joint. This place is no frills, nothing fancy, just turning out awesome burgers and fries at excellent prices. Get the bacon cheeseburger basket for ~$5.50 and you get a double patty bacon cheese burger and a ton of their famously awesome crinkle fries. This is the kind of place that you plan into your vacation when coming to Chelan. A must for lunch when spending the day in the sun. Although the people were friendly, the organization and service was extremely disappointing tonight. First, we waited in our car in line for over 30 minutes only to get to the window to be told that the line was only for pick up orders. There was no signage to tell customers that they could not order from their car when they pulled in. The person apologized and said that there was an online ordering feature or we could call in our order. She mentioned it was a thirty minute wait. We promptly placed our order online but did try to call several times and the call rolled to voicemail; however, the voicemail box was full. After ordering online, we then waited 30 minutes and went to pick it up. We got to the pick up window showing our order and the person appeared to be confused. She said that it would be another thirty minutes to wait for our online order because "...we got more orders...". We have now waited over an hour for our order. Disappointing... Frankly, it is a rare day that I write bad reviews, but this was over the top for a really bad customer experience. read more
