The lunch usually includes a main entree, drink and a fruit or dessert. The center is quite spacious inside and outside. Next to the center is a rose garden with hundreds of rose bushes that bloom all year round. There is an area with several exercise equipment that one can test one's physical ability. Surrounding the center is an extensive lawn area with paved walkways that leads to the Ward Park adjacent to the center. The park has 3 hardball courts, 2 basketball courts, a pavilion for shelter and a separate restroom building. The center is also closed to the South Lake and can be reached by a bridge from the edge of the park, cross the roadway to the north side of the lake area where you can enjoy the tranquility of the lake neighborhood. The senior center is also right next to a senior day care facility that provides day time care for needed seniors. Lake senior center welcomes volunteers to assist in its many activities so it caters to both young and old to a chief its goal!

As a clinical nutritionist I do not recommend eating here. Not very healthy especially for seniors and if you're a diabetic

It's a nice little place, very quiet and easy to access. However, depending on the time of day ie.3-5pm 7-9am Culver boulevard can be a rather busy street at those times. Uci and places towards Newport Beach are definitely creating more traffic at those peak times. The AARP class was awesome. Super easy, very informative. It costs $25 for non AARP members and $20 if you are an AARP member. They are held here every 3 months so the next one should be around May or so. You can always contact the center here for more information. There's also some nice accommodations here like food and drinks. Also close to the golf course here and the clubhouse has a restaurant to eat at as well. Plenty of parking and plenty of handicapped parking as well. The city of Irvine also has programs that provide seniors with rides to and from most of their senior centers including this one.

There is a kitchen that we can rent for big events. The place is reasonably priced. The staff is very amiable & helpful. The parking lot is decent-sized. The only thing is that in Irvine, ya gotta go through lots of red-tape & jump alot of hoops for everything you do and everything you change that is in any relation to the city of Irvine. If that wasn't such a hassle, I'd have given this place 5 stars.

The great thing is that the ARC opens up at 6 am during normal hours, so you can get your work out in super early. It also closes pretty late, for those who like a work out at night. If you are a student at the ARC, I highly recommend trying the group fitness classes or the martial arts classes. Exercise regimen are just easier to maintain with a group, especially if you are just starting. Traditional Jiujitsu is taught by Ray, who is super chill and teaches you the fundamentals of self-defense. The Brazilian Jiujitsu class is taught by Harrison and Cheri, who are both upper belts under blackbelts Coach AJ / Coach Alex who teach at Valhalla Jiujitsu. They are extremely knowledgable, friendly, and know how to motivate a class and keep it fun.

Briana was so kind in taking the time to explain how certain equipment and machines work. She was very patient and helpful to me. The front desk staff are always kind and helpful. It can get busy here at times. Pool is pretty busy on weekends that are sunny. My only complaint is that the lockers are a bit outdated and main lockers can use a bit more tLC.
