Blaming customers for your facility inconsistencies, ruining people's plans, giving the impression everything is okay, causing us to drive an hour and a half and then rejecting us and then not having any accountability in the matter is a huge thumbs down.

A horrific experience with the new ownership that required a visit to my veterinarian after a week-long stay traumatized my little lady, and I chose to never use them again. That is until the (2nd) owner chose to sell the business to Graham and Kathleen - the newest owners of Puppy Love Playcare. Similar to the original owners, Kathleen and Graham also live on site. After learning of the new change in ownership, I chose to give them a call and spoke with Kathleen for quite some time. Kathleen was forthcoming and answered all of my questions. I then decided to give Puppy Love another try and am so thankful that I took the chance! My little old lady was terrified when we first pulled up and she realized where she would be staying. I'm sure she was remembering the trauma she had experienced with the previous owner. But after picking her up from that week-long stay, I couldn't have been happier. It took Kathleen and Graham a few days to get her to let down her guard and relax, but she finally did so. And she showed no signs of stress when it was time for her to come home. After such a positive experience, I chose to use Puppy Love again for a two night stay, with the same results. This time my little lady acclimated even faster and enjoyed herself even more. If you had previously used Puppy Love prior to Kathleen and Graham's becoming the new owners and are afraid to give it another try, either because of a bad experience or reading some of the horrible reviews posted during that period of time, I would suggest putting those fears aside and giving the new owners a try. Going forward this will be the only daycare or long-term boarding facility I will use for my little old lady.

Was looking for playmates for my dog Tyson and came upon Brian's Doghouse! Went to check put the…read moreplace to see if this was somewhere we would want to bring him to play and meet other dogs. We were instantly comfortable. The owner, Brian, was very professional and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. His dog, Reggie, happily greeted us and Tyson. There was another dog there for the day and the 3 of them had a great time! Brian took the time to answer all of our questions and share his knowledge with us. Reggie is a cute, 10 month old, ball of energy! Which is great because Tyson has a lot of energy too and needed a dog to match his. I would feel comfortable dropping him off to play again! And we will. Come check the place out for yourself! The prices are extremely reasonable and you get a packet with their policies. I like that every dog has to be neutered or spayed, that he has ways to break up fights if they occur and he knows doggie CPR! The place is roomy with toys to play with and couches to rest. The owner has plans to do boarding eventually and his wife does dog grooming. We will definitely be back. Tyson is passed out from all the excitement and playing, which is exactly what he needed! This office is awesome. It is really a long hike for me out to Scottsville, but I continue taking Freddy here now just because the quality of care is so high. The front desk staff is soooo helpful, kind, and loving towards every pet that walks in the door - same with the practitioners. You never feel as if you're taking up too much of the doctor's time with questions, and they have a great notification system that lets me know when Freddy is due for her boosters or monthly meds. I am hesitant to take her anywhere else since they've known my girl since she was a baby, and it is hard to find really high quality care for our pets! If you're living on the west side and looking for a wonderful care community for your cats, dogs or critters - I would recommend Riverside in a heartbeat!
