The fruit cake is one of my favorites. It has a crispy fillo dough bottom crust layer, pastry cream, and elaborate fresh fruit presentation, and all contained in a whipped cream border. Found Lala's Kitchen through the Too Good To Go app (which I am officially obsessed with ). I picked up my order yesterday and it was such a smooth experience -- walked in, grabbed my bag, and was out in under 5 minutes. Fast and efficient, just how I like it! I got three pastries plus a little sample of their coconut water -- super refreshing and the perfect touch. The pastries were delicious, and I still have some left for tomorrow (if I don't cave and eat them tonight ). Definitely coming back. I really hope more people know about this place for their food. Just found this place right by my house. I often go to younge juice for sugarcane juice and saw the store. This is the old Van Bakery. Known for their cakes but I've been going here 3 times a week just for today. Their Chao long is the best. $10.95 but poetion is huge Also having $11 banh mi ans coffee is a great deal for my drive to work. I also bought Bun rieu, Bo kho banh mi and Bun bo hue. $13 All are so yummy Prices are tax included Everything is ao delicious. Guaranteed. I eat out alot and knows these dishes are one of the best in the area. Across from old AA store. Tips: call ahead of time. Because they take some time to prepare carefully. 10-11-2025 I ventured out to this bakery today. I ordered the #1 sandwich and they offered me a free ice coffee. I chose the coconut cream. Strong and yummy I also ordered an apple pastry and a coconut jello and coffee jello. I shared my items when I got home. All were delicious. Lots of offerings of cakes, pastries, jello and cookies. Sandwiches & coffees. Friendly and good customer service. Simple and clean bakery. If you're in the area , I suggest yoy try this bakery. They are don't waste their food . Looks like the old Van's Bakery. The chicken pate Chaud is not near as good as good. Theirs are kinda gummy on the inside and unfortunately not good. The Vietnamese coffee was also very interesting, I don't think I will be back. The employee was very polite.... I hope they can change somethings read more

Amazing authentic Vietnamese iced coffee. This is the type of strong, fragrant coffee you get when you're in Vietnam. After trying this coffee, you won't go back to Lee's Sandwiches coffee. The special sandwich is different from what you get from other local bakeries. The variety of meats are different and I think there's special sauce. However, the bread is too dense or thick for me. Nothing wrong with that because you will get very full afterwards. I like my baguette or bread softer like the one you get from Saigon bakery ( always my favorite). Beautiful, clean, well organized interior with numerous other pastries, desserts, wedding cakes, cookies, etc. The female owner greets you kindly and eagerly explains what her store has to offer.
