It was just too good to be true. I had a crack from debris that came out of a flatbed truck. The crack moved quickly, growing about an inch a day. The crack reached the top edge of the windshield after a few days so I had to get it replaced immediately. Initial communication was fast and easy. Doctor Auto Glass made assurances and and gave me a fantastic quote. (I communicated with 5 other places and the pricing just couldn't compare. Doctor Auto Glass was 30-50% lower than the other quotes for an aftermarket replacement and calibration.) I made an appointment for the next morning and was told it would take about 90 minutes. As soon as I pulled in and got out of the car, they confirmed my appointment and four guys descended on my car to start immediately. It was all done in just over 30 minutes. (And the place was packed with other customers.) They honored the fantastic quote, they replaced it in less than half the time that was estimated... The price was so good and it was all done so fast, I couldn't help but be skeptical. It really was just too good to be true. I've since been able to test the calibration on the windshield and have gotten a carwash and there are zero issues. It's been a month and the windshield is perfect. On Saturday, I again had to wait for an update and was eventually told he would be arriving at 1 PM, Marco then reached out past 1pm and let me know he will be 30 minutes to an hour late. The windshield itself was installed and the price was pretty reasonable. However, I did notice that the lower right trim around/below the windshield was not fully seated afterward. I was able to seat it myself, so it ended up being a minor issue. The bigger problem was the communication and calibration follow-up. I asked for a report confirming the windshield calibration had been completed and was sent to a location in El Monte. After sitting in traffic for almost an hour to get there, I checked in and the people at the location had no idea who I was or why I had been sent there. Marco then called me and explained that the person I needed had already left and that I would now need to go to another location. I was told I could go to ANOTHER location on Saturday, so I messaged Marco the day before asking for the address. He never responded. It is now Saturday and I still have not received the location or the calibration report I originally requested. Overall, the windshield was installed for a decent price, but the communication throughout the process was extremely lacking and the calibration follow-up has been frustrating and unprofessional.
