My balayage was really brassy and I had a few grey stragglers on top of my head I needed to have covered up. When I walked in, the pictures online don't even do the salon justice. It is so beautiful inside, I loved the ambiance, the staff was very friendly and the free coffee didn't hurt either. Jessica was very warm and friendly, offered some suggestions on the look I was trying to accomplish and the end result was simply amazing. I've had pretty bad color experiences before, but I will definitely be sticking with Jessica as long as I can! She even massaged my head/scalp and gave me under eye gel pads to help soothe my puffy under eye area...it felt like a mini spa get away.

A style cut is cutting more than 2 inches while creating a new hairstyle.(That includes layering,beveling,shaping,etc.) (this price does not include shampoo,blow,and style) $15 and up 15 min." Well, long story short, Ms. Thing thought she was slick and was planning on charging me full price. I came into the salon freshly relaxed and blow dried. I only wanted a cut and curl. In fact, I sent her a message stating that I wanted to be curled and left her my number and email address. When I got there, she acknowledged that she received said message. I tell the shampoo girl I'm only getting cut & curled. Kelli says "oh we don't do that." Why? Because "I like to use my own products. I don't know what you put in your hair." Um, how about you just ask me what I used. She tried to tell me that I picked an add on service. But it didn't say that online (see above. Copy/pasted straight from StyleSeat.com). Plus she had my contact info. I showed her 2 pictures of pretty much the same cut, except one cut was a little longer. Needless to say, home girl chopped my hair off! And when I say chopped, I mean CHOPPED!! Uneven and chunky with too many weighted ends. I told her I didn't like what she had done so far. She then proceeded to tell me that she doesn't do just cuts and curls without shampooing. Then, she said she wasn't finished and that she still needed to go back in and "clean it up." Fine. She then said "$35." I said "how about $30." She said "I don't barter my prices. That's just where I am in my career." What!?! She didn't bother to move my ears & touched my 3x with that hot ass flat iron. I wanted to go HAM. but it's supposed to be a "Christian" Salon. Gospel music bumpin & scriptures on the walls so I minded my manners. I gave her $35 and wrote a recommendation on styleseat. Well of course she wasn't going to post a bad review, but I will.
