Truffle fries were crispy with good seasoning, definitely one of the better ones. Carnitas nachos were loaded and great for sharing. The mac & cheese kids meal was simple but perfect for the kids. Probably some of the best service we've had in Santa Barbara so far! I gave Finney's 4stars because our sever was awesome on a busy night. I had a martini and asked for blue cheese olives- she asked the bartender to hand stuff them! She was also great when we had a food issue. Now onto the food.. the buffalo cauliflower was great! Huge pile of perfectly fried cauliflower with blue cheese and buffalo dip. The smash burger and waygu burger were ok. Decent but nothing amazing. The fish tacos were terrible. I had one grilled and one fried. Both extremely overcooked to the point it was hard to chew. I didnt take a picture, but my mom loves onion rings, and these were perfectly fried with Parmesan sprinkled on top. I prefer them with ranch, but they come with a trio of dipping sauces that include ketchup and honey mustard. I ordered the Mahi mahi tacos, grilled, which were very good. The chips were better. My dad had the carnitas tacos which looked really good. And my mom ordered the chop salad because the woman next to us was eating it. The food here never disappoints. We were seated pretty quickly for a Friday night, which was nice. It my birthday and there was no singing but I did get a nice cookie and ice cream treat with a candle to share with my husband. I tried the mixed berries mojito which was just ok. Try the Nashville Hot Ranch! 10/10 delicious. I would buy a jar of this to go if they sold it. Everything you love about Nashville Hot chicken sandwiches but dip for everything. Otherwise: Great venue right downtown. Large with lots of seating and bar access. Kid friendly with high chairs, etc. All the food was delicious: fried chicken, tacos, fries, chips, etc. Lots of beer options and flights of margaritas too (try one!). Good service, reasonable prices, great ambiance. Highly recommend for families or for grabbing a beer and watching a game. But I'll say again: the Nashville Hot Ranch I haven't seen before at any restaurant, but perhaps it will take off once the word gets out with how delicious it is here! We visited Finney's earlier today. It wasn't busy, however the server took a long time to greet us and take our order. My husband's food and my food arrived relatively fast, however our teen's burger arrived 15 min later than our food. For most of this time, there was no communication from the serving personnel. At one point, someone stopped by to say that the kitchen prepares our teen's order incorrectly and had to re-make it. We were advised that the teen's food will be on the house. While they took the item off our bill, nobody bothered to offer a sincere apology to our teen. Removing a charge doesn't automatically fix poor service or make a guest feel respected. The food here is AMAZING and I love happy hour deals. Service is also great. My favorites are chicken tenders, nachos, quesadilla, and the burgers. Their hard kombucha is great too. My one complaint: the women's restroom absolutely needs attention. It has a big window that's at floor level and when open, anybody from the sidewalk can just sneak on in. Picked this place because of the Yelp reviews and Yelp didn't disappoint. I got the BBQ burger and got sweet potato fries with it. I also tried the carnitas nachos, coconut shrimp and fried cauliflower bites. My burger was cooked perfectly medium well as I had requested. The potato fries were just as I like them, crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. They also serve a chipotle sauce with the sweet potato fries that was a great pairing. The coconut shrimp was good too; the sauce they serviced with it was tasty! The cauliflower bites were decent for them being cauliflower which isn't my favorite veggie but them being deep fried and served with a buffalo sauce made them pretty good. Seen this place loads of time as we alway have wine tasting at the tasting room across the street. It's below one section of hotel Californian. It's always busy regardless what time of day you visit. There's always going to be a line. We stopped by before a dinner reservation elsewhere for a beer. The menu is quite simple with their food and drinks. It's a full bar but I feel like majority of the people tends to stick to beer. Food wise, same as all The other location. Based on our experience here, the crowd is more college kids as it is near the campus. And loads of holiday makers. We were able to get a table before the mad rush but only stayed for a beer. Service was great. All the staff were friendly and sweet. Easy check out with the machine on the table for self checkout. It's a fun spot but expect to wait as there's always a line. read more

It's exactly what you'd expect from a slightly elevated American bar style restaurant. Ton of different alcoholic options, a decent sized menu, and multiple TVs playing multiple types of sports and entertainment. I really enjoy places that have strong flavors. Don't tell me this has a certain kind of aioli and then make me hunt for it because there's only a sliver of it. Not this place. Horrible experience. I have rated Finny's before and go weekly for there hh and typically have a nice time. I decided to bring my family here tonight, we ordered our food.. everything was brought out besides my bowl. The food runner dropped off the side I ordered with the bowl, but not the bowl. I figured it was coming...wrong! The server never, NEVER came over to check on us, not once the whole dinner (this is not an exaggeration, she would walk around and avoid us). Everyone finished eating (I shared my sisters pizza) and still no check in from server or bowl brought. At this point we're ready to go but we can't pay since the bowl is on the bill.
