We completed a major home remodeling project with LaMantia recently and are thrilled with the result. They did a beautiful job and were a pleasure to work with! We were especially impressed with our designer, Jackie (and her assistant Katie). They had fantastic ideas: from designing the overall layout, to help in choosing materials, to even how to paint a difficult area to enhance the design. One of the unique parts of our project was the desire to keep some beautiful existing components (specifically some cabinetry, stone countertops, bamboo woodwork and a sauna) but move them to new locations. Jackie did an excellent job in designing that arranging. We lived onsite throughout the project, so we were able to see the process "up close and personal". All of the construction personnel from LaMantia and subcontractors they used were very skilled and personable. Our project manager, Mike R, kept us informed on progress and who was coming each day. The initial schedule was "almost" met. We got delayed by lighting and electric (more our fault than theirs) in the middle, but they did a great job of an extra push to make sure a critical section was usable prior to a wedding brunch we were hosting. LaMantia was first class all the way. We cannot say enough good things about the owners, design team, and project manager, as well as the tradesmen. They did a complete kitchen remodel for us and it was done on time, with absolute quality and professionalism. We had a few small hiccups along the way, as you always do with contract work being done, but what set LaMantia apart is they stepped up immediately and resolved all of them without trying to pass the buck, or nickel and dime us. Their project manager, Mike, is absolutely incredible to work with, he's on top of everything, and he's wonderfully kind, our 4 and 5 year old little girls wanted to adopt him as their uncle, he was so awesome with them. They are honest, accountable, forthcoming, hardworking, and talented people. We have worked with other contractors in the past (basement build out, patio/outdoor kitchen, pool install), and LaMantia is BY FAR the BEST contractors we have worked with. My parents had their bathroom remodeled and La Mantia did a very fine job from planning stages through construction. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Gina was very thorough in explaining the process and she responded to questions quickly and thoroughly. The design team was equally helpful and Annessa gave us some really great ideas to incorporate in the final design. Before construction, the team took great care in protecting the house and limiting dust to other areas. The construction crew arrived on time everyday, were polite, and performed difficult tasks with ease. The attention to detail was appreciated and not overlooked by anyone in our household. The project manager, Chuck, updated us regularly about the progress. We were impressed with the final design and construction quality. There were some delays in the process, but not the fault of La Mantia and only a few days, and this was minor and to be expected since construction time fell over a holiday. Overall, we were dreading remodeling in a home we live in, but the process was smooth, well-organized, completed timely, and with the utmost professionalism. We will definitely be working with La Mantia again and hope that they can do just as wonderful job with our kitchen. read more

From the beginning, LaMantia was great to work with. We had a HORRIBLE experience with a previous builder to where they messed up before the work even started and bowed out giving us all our money back. My wife and I were very skeptical moving forward with any builders because of that experience. We met Andy and Frank and their professionalism and personable approach attracted us. Once they began the construction process, we were given regular updates and began to see the wonderful addition that was added to our home. They were on time from beginning to end with their scheduling. Came in under budget 275.00 under on 12k so not bad. They had too many great ideas for us to include them all. In the end we aren't wanting for anything. Lockers for the boys, drain in the floor for days needing hose down, plenty of storage, and finally a door to hide it all from the kitchen! read more

LaMantia completed a large whole house renovation for us from Aug '12 - Feb '13. From start to finish, everything went extremely well. In the very beginning, working with Tony was a great experience...His excitement about the project (almost) equaled ours. Frank, our Project Manager, was unbelievable throughout the whole thing. In addition to keeping things running very smoothly, Frank was a great resource to bounce ideas off and was extremely patient, thorough, and professional all the way through. Lana was also great to work with and came up with a kitchen design that was exactly what we were looking for, but couldn't see. The framers, electricians, and tile setters also stood out as really talented, courteous professionals who (you could tell) really cared about the work that they were doing and that our expectations were exceeded. It really was a great experience and we could not be happier with the finished product! We have and will continue to recommend them to anyone we know considering a remodel or addition. read more

We worked with LaMantia Construction on a great room addition and brand new kitchen for our home and we are beyond thrilled at the finished result. We had some very specific ideas in mind to create a unique space, and Mike, Frank and Annessa worked with us day in and day out to make sure all our "to dos" were accomplished exactly as we wished. They are extremely professional, on time, attentive to detail and expertly oversaw each of the stages of construction.
