It's too bad when you go into a business that is open until 6pm and they have three donuts to offer! What a horrible way to run a business!

I get being busy but 2 things really stood out to me today... 1 if you are a make fresh store ,which I love, but you don't restock the goods through out the morning then you need to have that posted on your door and not just rudely tell customers "were out". 2. Customer service goes a LONG way and the last few times i have come in customer service doesn't exist . Today Maria was super rude, annoyed I asked if she could fill some lamars bars with cream and even got one wrong after explaining it to her 3 times. Treated me like I was an idiot after asking a simple question. Not sure if Ill go back at least not anytime soon! Ill stick to going to other donuts shops for the time being read more

I ordered my grandson, who does not like cake, a huge birthday donut from this LaMar's and it was AMAZING. He was so surprised, he loves donuts and it made his birthday. They made it so easy to order and pick up was a breeze. It was also very delicious and I think this might become a yearly birthday event. read more

Best fresh donuts! They are very consistent and always good. A nice variety and when I take these into work they are a huge hit. Their reward program is nice also if you go there regularly. read more

We really enjoyed these donuts the first couple times we went. But the last couple times have been absolutely horrible. They have no selection and the staff is rude. We took our son today on a Saturday mid day in for a donut, which he is always excited for of course. When we got there there were literally three donut holes in the case. When my son asked where is all the donuts had gone the rude lady leaned over the counter and told him he "should've gotten here earlier". I'm sorry I think a business should appreciate customers at anytime of the day especially if their doors are open. I understand keeping your products fresh and not having to throw out too much but when you have a couple hours till you close three donut holes is a little sad especially for a weekend. Poor service waste of time. Find donuts somewhere else! read more

There is a story to preface this review..... I've driven by this donut shop a million times. Always wondering how they compare to my supermarket bakery donuts but never having time to just stop in. But this morning was different. I was awoken from what was my day to sleep in by the sound of my husbands voice on the answering machine. The reason I woke up to listen is because he was supposed to be running 13 miles this am in training for a marathon and I assumed the only reason he could be calling was because he had broken some body part and needed rescuing from the coyotes..... Nothing was broken, but approx halfway into the run, his hamstring had tightened up and it was going to take him a really really long time to walk home so could I come get him.....yes I could. He told me his cross streets and my mind immediately tried to come up with a plan to right the wrong of losing my sleep-in day. I don't know about you, but a dozen donuts will go a long way toward making that better for me! Now that you've heard all the parts irrelevant to the actual review, here goes.... I went in, told them I had never been, nice girl behind the counter offered me a sample donut hole while I was 'glazing' (pun intended) over looking at the selection before me. After my initial assessment, I asked the nice girl if they had any of the yeast donuts w/chocolate icing and sprinkles since I only saw those in cake type donut. She said, I could make you some......yes please! So she hurried off to the back to make that happen and another lovely young lady filled the rest of my order while we exchanged polite conversation and she answered any question I posed. Then, as I paid, she asked to 'see my ID' which it says on the back of my card but most people ignore. The politeness level was very high here, almost chick fil a minus the 'it's my pleasure' and I loved it! Yummy donuts and great customer service, that makes for a happy, peaceful morning. Because of the health crisis we are experiencing right now I decided to place an online order at lamars donuts in Westminster CO. My husband and I arrived when we got the email telling us our order was ready. There was a line of people outside who did not have online orders. My husband went inside and told them he had an online order and was told by an older man whom I assume was the manager that they would get to him when they get to him. If they are not familiar with how online pickup orders work they should not offer it. We have been trying to support the restaurant and food industry thru this but people in this industry are treating patrons like they are the enemy here because they are still working. I got news for you all me my husband and all 3 of my kids work in essential fields also. We are also still going to our places of work for 40 plus hours per week. I will never go to this establishment again. read more

Donuts just don't get better than this. I moved overseas about 5 years ago and for those 5 years, I couldn't stop thinking about Lamar's, especially the old fashioned sour cream. Every time I would have a donut from another shop, I would immediately think "well it's a donut, so it's delicious, but it's not Lamar's." As soon as my sister moved back to the area, I knew where my first stop was going to be when I came to visit. Now that I am visiting Denver, I can tell you, they were better than I remember and I can guarantee you that a box filled with a dozen old fashioned sour cream donuts is going to be one of my carry on items when I head back home. read more

Forget all chains like Krispy, Dunkin and Wenchls, if you want good donuts and coffee I know it's a little far north but they have an excellent selection of baked and fried donuts at amazing prices.. The only thing is I would get my coffee elsewhere it's just basic black with sugar and cream and I like something a bit more than that read more

LOVE Lamar's! It's several miles from home, but well worth the trip every few weeks. Their Bavarian cream bars ("Long Johns") have a perfect ratio of fried donutty goodness to sweet vanilla custard. We love their apple fritters, which are huge and full of big chunks of apples. They have Bismarcks filled with cream, icing, raspberry or lemon filling, and today I stumbled upon the donut holy grail.......red velvet cake donut. Today marks the beginning of my love affair with LAMARS doughnuts!!! Oh my my...I thought I'd died and gone to heaven, when I got in my car and pulled that raspberry bizmark from it's bag and took my first bite! The doughnut itself, was light and delicious...with the most amazing raspberry filling! I had a bite of my Daughters cinnamon roll. She likes them warm... so she popped it in the microwave for a few seconds. WOW! All I can say is' thank goodness I don't have a Lamar's too close by'...or I'd be spending a lot of time there! Lamar's is the BEST! I've enjoyed their donuts for over 10 years and they have never disappointed. Most stores serve Daz Bog coffee which is an added bonus. These are a universal favorite at the office when it's my turn to bring in the donuts. Ray's Chocolate Glazed are great and the filled ones are worth the premium charge. read more

This location is a joke. They refuse to have more than 1-2 people working at a time up front so the line is generally bloated and extremely slow moving. How slow? I've left at least 2-3 times, mainly because I learned after the first time that they won't restock simple items so you're waiting all that time and then you don't get what you want... How much sense does that make? None. The answer is none. I started going to a different location and they have 4-5 people popping out from the back rushing to take your order, and they restock everything constantly. Avoid this location. Delicious as always! My husband and I came in a couple of weeks ago and got the managers special, (mostly specialty doughnuts)... So freaking good! They had a few non-filled long johns, and that made the hubby sad! They said we can fill them for you! So they filled them with Bavarian cream, and then the hubby was happy! Nice, awesome employees! My family bought some dunkin donuts, and let me tell you, they don't have shit on Lamar's!! I will be a Lamar's doughnut girl for life! By far the best doughnuts in town! The staff is extremely friendly and even offered me free glazed doughnuts. Which of course I gladly took. Everything is always fresh and the variety in choices is also a plus! Overall, if you have a sweet tooth I would definitely suggest going here. read more

Stopped in here on the 4th of July; the places was blowing up! Donuts were pretty yummy. The young guy that helped us was very nice. One negative: only one register was open so the young man made a suggestion to the gal (who I think was in charge) to use the other register for credit card transactions since they couldn't use it with cash. She snapped at him and said use only one register and then disappeared into the back again. Not professional and ridiculous considering there was a line out the front. read more

Great Donuts. Always packed in the morning. Great Selection. Their Glazed Donuts are very soft and moist. Unlike a Dunkin Donuts but not quite as soft as a Krispy Kreme. Always had a great experience at this location. read more

Line always seems to be out the door, and for good reason these donuts are amazing. Some of the best ive ever had. Staff is friendly and at least on 2 occasions when the lines were really long everyone inline was given a free donut for waiting. Talk about keeping people happy. read more

My boyfriend works for Pepsi and he serviced their store today and got some doughnuts as well. All I can say is wow. It was so delicious! I absolutely love their variety and the doughnut by itself was fresh and perfectly made. I'm very much impressed and although there's a LaMar's in Aurora, I think I'll make the drive to Westminster for this one! read more
