This is a gem of a Pizza place that has a selection of food items from burgers, to wings, salads, and of course Pizzas with a large variety of topping combinations . Drink options include a variety of beers, wine and sodas. I went with a large combo, 1/2 Whole 9 yards (combo meat and vegetables, and 1/2 Linebacker (all meat combo). The toppings are plentiful, fresh and very tasty, the sauce is tangy, and the crust is thick, but nit to thick, and has a great cruchy texture while still being a little doughy. I wish I had one a little closer to my home, so that I could enjoy it more often than when I'm in Davis for golf. Recently moved to Davis and one of my first adventures was to locate a great pizza spot. And Lamppost did not dissapoint. I ordered a personal size and everything about the pizza was crazy good. The crust, red sauce and ingredients were top quility. I also had their aggie burger when I returned which great as well, but the fries were in small portions considering they put the pickles, tomato and lettuce on the side so it takes up 1/3 of the plate. C'mon guys just throw it on the burger and add a bit of more fries! And it's also really pricey. The whole menu is really pricey. And dang, those arcades are lame af. But I grew up in a 80s/90s where arcades were awesome at pizza places. Just a minor complaint. Now, when it comes to customer service, everyone was super friendly and professional. You'll notice this cauliflower crust is so much better than Blaze. It's a little sweet and the texture is perfect. If you like your crust with a little bite, just order as is. If you like wimpy crust - the kind that droops when you pick it up, just tell them. Mozzarella sticks (Grade A) Comes with 6 so enough to share with 2 people. They give you a red sauce and ranch. They pass the "pull-test" and are a great appetizer. Are they special? No. But they are consistenly good. I've ordered these at least 4 times and everytime, they come out hot with a crispy coating. Salad (Grade A) The ingredients are fresh and crispy. The croutons were a little too crunchy for my liking, but that may mean they make these in-house. (not sure though). Comes with 2 solo cups of the dressing of your choice. Portion size is good enough for 3 people. Cheese Bread (Grade A+) - 5 pieces and so good. If you are a fan of Little Ceasars crazy bread, stop what you're doing and give these a try. We came on a late Sunday summer afternoon (after 1:30). The location was pretty empty by then with only 3-5 other parties dining in but several more coming in for take out. This location is on the quieter West (corrected) side of Davis in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking and some outdoor seating. The dated inside interior is reminiscent of an older Italian restaurant, dark setting (unless you sit near the window front) with mostly bench and booth family seating. It's very clean and they have multiple TVs set to various channels. Service was pretty good as well. They don't go out of their way but if you need or ask for anything they are great accommodating. We ordered The Best of Seven. This place has some amazing pizza! In fact, it is now my favorite pizza place in the Bay/East Bay. Their crust was the perfect amount of fluffy yet still had a good crisp despite the copious amount of toppings. All the veggies were super fresh and their crunch added to the perfect texture. There was plenty of cheese but not too much to overwhelm your pizza. I personally thought there wasn't enough pizza sauce but it didn't effect how delicious the pizza was. The pizza was just awesome. They have a decent beer selection and offer ice cold glasses as well and have Pepsi products on tap. 100% would come here again and would bring visiting guests here just for how awesome the pizza is! read more

My family has been coming here for many years. Today on Aug 5th we went their to eat. First off I couldn't use my coupon for some reason he couldn't explain. Then the food came and my husband ordered the Aggie burger with a salad it came with fries and fries were burnt. My granddaughters pasta tasted old and she couldn't eat it and my daughter and I shared a calzon and it was burnt and doughy on the inside and we ask for pepperoni and mushrooms and only got mushrooms.
