This was our first time eating here since it opened. We were impressed with how clean the restaurant was. It was also open and bright and super spacious! We ordered a large pizza, but split it half and half with what we each wanted - I got the combo and my son got meat and olives. We also ordered garlic knots. Our server was kind and professional. The garlic knots were so delicious! They were crunchy on the outside and soft and steamy when we but into them. The pizza was nice and hot when it came out. We both enjoyed our selection! This restaurant is clean and organized compared to other Mountain Mike's in the area and Sacramento. They keep up with the dinner buffet/salad bar and refill on a consistent basis. My order took about 20 minutes which is longer than expected, but I did opted for dine in, so that probably made a difference. People that order take out left pretty quickly. The restaurant itself is huge and has a decent size room for a party or meeting. The arcade area is an upgraded version of a Chuck e cheese, because everything actually works. Staff were kind and they greeted me upon walking up to the counter. By the way: They offer military discount! Just show your VA card or military ID. read more

"Grand Opening" today even though it's been open for a bit. Started out lined up outside waiting for them to open the doors. TONS of little ones running around which was awesome. Sleepy little strip mall on N. 1st street was parked out! For the first time in a while, I'm sure. The ad was that the first 100 patrons to show got a free personal pizza. They had em under a heat lamp and you could grab an extra for your offspring if you had one. (or two) So I grabbed the one and walked around the place. Seems to have an arcade! Remember those? Different lighting scheme in there and I kept my mature behind out of that....because they have a tap wall! I hear there's a salad bar. Maybe another day. If it's anything like the one in Davis, awesome. This location seems to be a bit darker with fewer windows and a deeper footprint. Will be back for sure! This place has been open for a month or so but this was their "grand opening." Not complaining. read more

Walked in and sat at the empty bar with few customers in the restaurant in hopes for a beer. Staff saw and walked by us, they didn't say anything. We were never served nor at least greeted so we left after waiting a little over 5 minutes. No signage or clues that we needed to do something else to receive service. Is the bar not normally staffed or is there a different way to proceed with receiving service? read more

UPDATE: I was contacted by Mountain Mike's who apologized for the bad pizza and offered us a free pizza for our next visit. I was so very impressed by the quick and kind reaction. We will definitely be giving them another shot as this was the complete opposite of a similar situation with Cenarios which was our go to until it sold. I would like to note that only one of the two pizzas wasn't great. So hopefully it was an isolated event. This was our third or 4th time at this location. I love mountain Mike's, but this time it was disappointing. We ordered a half cheese half pineapple and a McKinley. The cheese and pineapple looked great. But the McKinley was totally disappointing. Hardly any toppings. Literally zero tomatoes or mushrooms and barely any cheese. It's Saturday night and there wasn't one person in the restaurant. I don't know what happened tonight but I really hope it doesn't happen in the future. read more

What a great 1st experience with our new Pizza Parlor in town. We ordered ordered a medium BLT pizza with artichokes (extra cost) hat was absolutely delicious! Leftovers dinner tomorrow night lol. They have a military discount and were very friendly. Location is perfect with arcade, salad bar, etc. A very family friendly ambiance. Matthew at this location in Dixon had a very welcoming personality. He was quick knowledgeable about his pizzas and made me feel like I was at home. Disappointed with the carry out experience. I like Mountain Mike's pizzas and etc. This evening was something different. I placed an order at this particular location for the first time and online stated 20 mins for carry out/ pick up. I called 20 mins later as I was heading there and I wanted to make sure that they have my order or at least in the process of being done. They apologized and said that it'll be ready soon. I had to ask for an estimate as I had already waited about 20 mins and the person taking orders in the front said it might be done in 5-10 minutes. I got there 15 mins later and the order wasn't done. I had to wait some more because they forgot my wings. Instead of getting my entire order at the time of 20 mins as stated as I even gave then extra time to prepare, my total wait time was close to an 1 hour. Had to reheat the pizza and the knots when I got home since I waited for those wings. The girl who helped me was sweet and apologetic at least. read more

First time visiting tonight, place is beautiful; however, the young lady who took our order to dine in was rude and annoyed with simple questions that I asked her. Then she walked away into the kitchen and did a whole little display of annoyance to her two male co-workers about me right in front of me and my two children. After that they all continued to just stare at us while we waited for our food and even when we got our food. Me and my children were so uncomfortable and embarrassed that we could not sit there and eat and we just had to pack up all the food and leave. Kids didn't even get to use their game cards that I purchased. I spent close to $100 for dinner just to be mocked and humiliated. read more
