We stopped here because we wanted a non-franchise pizza spot, and my toddler was set on pizza. When we walked in, there was no greeting. One employee was on the phone taking an order, so we stood around and noticed a QR code for the menu. After she got off the phone, instead of acknowledging us, she started asking people at random if they were there for pickup and even spoke to someone who had just walked in before finally turning to us. We told her we wanted to dine in, and she said we could order at the counter and then seat ourselves. No physical menu was offered, but thankfully I had already scanned the QR code. We placed a simple order: a large pepperoni pizza, two draft IPAs (with no list of options provided), and a salad. We paid upfront, including tip, and found a table. There was a bit of a wait before she poured our beers, and the IPA choices turned out to be limited to just a Blood Orange Double IPA or a Hazy. The salad came out quickly, followed by the pizza, which wasn't very hot. The pizza reminded me of Little Caesar's as a child, and real light on the cheese and pepperoni. While we were waiting, I noticed a man sitting in the corner with a laptop and earpiece, talking the entire time and even helping himself behind the bar. When the employee came over with our drinks, I quietly asked if he was the manager or owner, she said he wasn't, which was confusing. The place felt overwhelmed and understaffed. Throughout our meal, we were swatting away fruit flies, and there didn't seem to be any air circulation, it was stuffy and warm inside. Overall, not a great experience. False advertising. The cenariosdixon.com advertises the Detroiter price as $21.99 but I was charged $37.60 (tax included). When I questioned the higher price I was told that their prices had changed in January. I stated that this was illegal and that the advertised price should be honored. The server refused to lower the price stating that the owner knew the price was wrong but would not honor it. I went ahead and paid, as I had hungry kids waiting, but we will not be returning here again, even after many years as a loyal customer. read more

We've been going to Cenario's in Dixon for over 10 years. Their Fred Bread is the best and we always thought the pizza was too. Honestly, we never had a pizza we didn't like. First of all, had trouble ordering online because at checkout, the price for the Triple Threat was different from what it said when I clicked on the select button, ($7.00 more to be exact). I was able to go back and forth on the site and somehow, finally got the checkout price to match the price advertised. One of the things I always appreciated with Cenario's was the deals they had (used to send out coupons) and the prices were the best in town. Brought the pizza home and we were so disappointed. The crust seemed very different than we had in the past. It didn't look or taste like pizza dough crust. It didnt have the rolled doughy edge most pizzas have. It was very rigid and the consistency resembled a pan cookie crust. Don't know if they changed the recipe, or the way they make it, but it is unfortunate. Not sure I'll get pizza there anymore (which makes me sad), but if we ever want Fred Bread, we'll stop by. read more

Decided to give it a shot and didn't want to order too much in case I didn't like it, I ordered the superifffic pizza it's just a combo and yeah it was good but for $19 that's insane! Luckily I had that gift certificate LOL.. I can go to pizza guys for 2 mediums for $20. Friday Pizza Night has been a staple in our family for the last 8+ years and Cenarios has been the place we've consistently frequented. The last 3 weeks, I don't know what's going on, but whomever is cooking the pizza needs to be sent back to pizza oven training. Under-cooked, floppy mess. This week, in an effort to counter-act this new found approach to baking pizza, I asked for it to be cooked extra-extra well done. What it got was essentially the same. I've had syrup-soaked pancakes that were able to hold their shape better. Placed an order tonight on DoorDash and they decided to let it sit for a half hour before canceling it. If you don't feel like making pizzas at a certain time then change your cutoff time for DoorDash deliveries. It clearly stated that there was 20 minutes left to place an order so I did just that. Next time your staff doesn't feel like making pizzas they should cancel the order immediately instead having a customer wait and a DoorDash delivery driver waste their gas driving to your restaurant for you to turn them away because you didn't even start the order. read more

Place is hit or miss. When they get it right the pizza is amazing. When you switch up the crust or want something different is when it may be suspect. My husband, & I came here for dinner last night. We decided on the Medium Pestorrrific pizza, which was free since we had received a coupon in the mail for moving to town. We also got a Garden salad $7.79 to share w/ Ranch dressing. We sat on the side where the bar and TVs were. My husband ordered a 22oz IPA $8.99 and I got an ice water. The salad came out 1st, and was just enough for 2 people. It was made with mixed greens instead of iceberg lettuce, but they could have done a better job at breaking up the huge pieces of lettuce. I had asked for Cucumbers and Mushrooms, but they barely gave us any cucumbers, but there was a decent amount of mushrooms. They gave us 3 med size containers of free Ranch dressing which was wonderful, however it didn't taste like any ranch dressing I'd ever had. It was very zesty like it had way too much Vinegar. The pizza came out next which was hot out of the oven, but there was hardly any chicken, or mushrooms, but lots of tomatoes, and red peppers. The pizza dough was crispy and chewy. Overall, it was ok. This is not the place to go if you go by their time frame of an order being ready for pickup...I placed an order for pick up at 435 pm and at 547 the order is is still not ready even though I received an email that it was ready for pick up. Total disappointing We ordered delivery on June 3rd. The manager used our phone number to get the address on file. He read the address to double-check. We pay over the phone. More than one hour passed, and we called Cenario again. They said the pizza was ready way back ago and waiting for us to pick it up. We replied it was a delivery but that dishonest man did not have the character to acknowledge his mistake; rather, he insisted we said we would pick it up. Then he said they would deliver it. I asked him not to bring a cold pizza. He lied again saying the pizzas came out of the oven minutes ago, and assure me they would be delivered in 15 minutes. Cenario's delivered cold pizzas 55 minutes later. We all made honest mistakes. However, when it comes to intentionally deceiving customers, you lose businesses. Walked in and grabbed my order to take home and was impressed with the expansion. I haven't been here too much before this, but I have seen the expansion in to the space which was next door and is now their dining room. Tables and tables of space to hold parties and other get-togethers line this longer than average room. If we'd stayed, the bar in the back of that room would have come in handy. Amazing pizza!! The breadsticks and wings were a hit too! So I stopped here on my way home from work in the Bay Area, it was about a 20 min ride from home and right off the freeway so definitely worth it. I ordered online and just preordered for a certain time to pick up: my order was ready when I got there, everything was packed up nicely and the service was great. We got the stuffed crust so good, the hot honey wings were amazing and the breadsticks were delicious. Definitely will be my new spot when grabbing pizza on a Friday night. read more
