In my 40s, the pressure was creeping up and with a family history of glaucoma, Dr. S recommended a laser procedure to reduce the pressure. I had that painless procedure done 3 years ago in the office, with NO adverse affects, just much improved pressure readings, meaning I'm the only one in my family that doesn't use very expensive and inconvenient glaucoma drops. The facility was easy to find, had plenty of parking, and the waiting area was open and clean. Check-in with Abbie was super easy and she was very friendly. I especially appreciated that she was transparent about what costs I could potentially expect based on my appointment. I was seen less than 5 minutes of waiting, right on time for my 6:15pm appointment (love that they offer evening appointments on Thursdays). I was "triaged" by a woman whose name I didn't catch but she was also just as friendly and professional. The equipment used to measure my eyes was all wiped down by the woman right before use, which was very comforting to know it was properly sanitized. The rest of my appointment with Dr. P was absolutely phenomenal. She was thorough with my routine eye exam, very good at explaining everything to me slowly and so I could understand, and she showed empathy and patience throughout the appointment. Overall, I couldn't recommend this facility and their staff enough. If you've been looking for a new place to get your eye care done, look no further!

But, a couple of times, my young son's glasses have broken, and I brought them in to Nutfield (across the road from his daycare, and asked if they could help me. They always did, and fixed the glasses right up. I didn't buy the glasses there, nor would they accept any payment. I will always appreciate that. One of those times I was in the store, I found a pair of glasses I really liked, and about a year later, I came in to see if they were still there. I had to spend my insurance credit quickly, and they found the glasses I wanted, and ordered them, and managed to get them in under the insurance deadline. I love these glasses, and they were really helpful in making sure I got what I wanted, and didn't try to convince me to get something else that would be easier.
