Started coming here over 10 years ago.....it was booming! Husband and wife duo were professional, clean facility and nice staff. A few years later hubby and wife began visibly arguing in their language, you knew b/c the staff would tell you. Then the turnover started staff where leaving for other locations. I stopped coming here for a while. Pedicures were always good with Cindy and she has a great attitude. The aggresive owner needs to stop answering the phones;very rude. And learn or hire ppl to do simple designs. I'd like to see the husband more often - he always had a kind soul. And maybe try visiting other shops to better your business - its no longer inviting. Needed a pedicure after a couple of months of giving my toes a break. Went to Lancaster Nail and Spa as a walk in, Cindy at the counter took me right in and set me up with a wonderful Deluxe pedicure. She got the massage chair ready for me and let me relax and closed my eyes and enjoyed a lovely foot massage. She was great, facility was clean, staff interaction with other clientele was nice. Went in for a pedicure with my boyfriend (yes he likes having nice toes too lol.) We just walked in without making an appointments and they already had us seated and ready for the pedicure instantly. It wasn't very busy, just a few other getting a pedicure and one person getting their nails done. They did a great job! Really took the time to massage your feet as well, felt so nice! They were very talkative with us and funny! Highly recommend coming here. The prices were moderate. Not too expensive, not too cheap. The cheapest pedicure you can get was $32 but it's a pretty good deal for everything that comes with it. I can see why this place has a 2.5 star review... I called in before coming in they said to come in right now no appointment needed, I walked in only there was only one customer waiting, I signed in sat down and waited for 30 minutes for the next nail tech to be finished just so that the customer that walked in behind me could go first. With the excuse that she called in, I said I was here first she the asked me to come and have a sit on an empty station. Cindy did my pedicure... $55 for the works, 10min hot stone massage, callus removal, paraffin wax for my feet, salt scrub, mineral mask for my legs. Went in for a back fill which is where they take off the acrylic and replace it but they only had 5 shades of acrylic powder. They said "no one gets that they get gel" okay whatever so I get short and square and as she's putting on my gel color she's on the phone and brushing on my color like it's a race. She missed multiple spots it's all splotchy and looks like shit. So when I point that out she puts a nother coat of gel on top of the top coat and makes it worse. She got the paint all over my skin and looks like I did it blind folded. I told her again and she said "ok I'll fix" gets up leaves and has someone else fix it. He then has to drill off the gel nail polish from my skin. Moral of the story is they look like absolute shit blocks of globby nasty nail polish and I'm never coming back. read more

First, the woman doing my pedicure cut my toe nail too far back and cut my cuticles way too deep to the point of bleeding and tried to act like I wasn't. When she put acetone on to clean up the sub par paint job and I said something about how much it hurt- she acted like she had NO idea why. Had a horrible experience at this salon! On 20 October I went with a friend for a pedicure and manicure. The technician was nice and the environment was very relaxing- so I was a having a good time. However, after the technician was done, I noticed that my nails did not look as expected. I decided to give it a few hours in case I was being too picky and because I felt the technician worked hard. I even gave a $20 tip. However, by Monday, it was readily apparent that my nails were NOT as expected. They had air bubbles, were discolored, and there were grooves in the polish. Since I had spent $100 dollars on this purchase, I wasn't willing to let my money go to waste. I called the salon and let them know my experience and asked for a refund. The lady on the phone told me there were no refunds and that I could come back for them to take a look at my nails and possibly fix them. I told her that I really wanted the refund because my nails already looked bad enough and I honestly didn't trust them to fix it. But I had no problems coming in for them to take a look at it. I explained to her that I spent $100 dollars and did not feel the quality was anywhere near the price. After going back and forth for a bit, she hung up on me. I called back and asked her, "Did you just hang up on me?" She said I had stopped talking so she thought we were done (I PAUSED in the middle of our conversation and she hung up without a bye or thank you). I told her that wasn't appropriate customer service. She responded by telling me she was with a customer and hung up on me again! While I was frustrated, I was not rude with her at any point during our conversation. I never get my nails done and wanted to have a fun day with my friend. Their poor customer service has ensured that I will never go back and spend my money there again. I go back today 10 minutes ago to ask if you know the imperfections that I'm showing her can they be fixed or would I have to pay because I did just come the other day . I went to have the gel removed from my nails today. My nails always get thin, split, and soft after I use gel, so I only do it on special occasions. I was the only customer when I went in. I was told to sit down. The man in front of me really hated to end his phone call. First thing I pointed out to please be careful on my 3rd finger with the gash on it from where my dog bit my finger the night before. Now he was riveted to something on the tv, but nodded about my finger. I had to remind him twice to be careful of my finger. He rotary sanded off the gel, trimmed my cuticles, sanded my nails leaving them rough on the edges. As a token he put lotion on the top of my hands and made a couple circular motions that I can only assume was a massage. All the while staring at the tv. He proceeded to tell me to wash my hands. He said that's $27. I handed him my card, he said, do you want to add a tip? Which is about 5 more words than he had spoken to me before. I said no. I would have explained why but all I saw was the back of his head as he was heading back to his phone/tv. I will not be going back. They lost a long time customer today. read more
