This is a thrift shop, so you don't know what you'll find, but whatever you happen upon, it's sure to be well priced. The shop is well organized and neat, with aisles wide enough to not feel claustrophobic. They had lots of books and magazines, of course, and shelves of small appliances. (An electric knife sharpener for $8!) They had baskets of sewing notions and fabrics, plus some clothing. If you like beautiful China, they had a set of Limoges for a steal. Now, the volunteers/employees- so nice! I wish I lived closer, because I think I'd be a regular customer.

Farmers Septic was our septic installer when our house was built. They installed their ClearStream…read moresystem they own (3-1 system) yet did a very poor job at it. Upon inspection, the UV Alarm & the Compressor Alarm Pressure Switch were not only off the whole time since built but had no wiring run to the main panel a few yards away. For a couple years they have serviced our system and not once did they address this fault to us. On top of this, their main logic board in one of the tanks was not sealed properly, allowing the board to begin corroding. It was also found that the fLastly, they have ghosted us (purposefully avoiding) in our attempts to get another service contract with them for reasons only we can speculate now seeing their mishaps. The only silver lining to this company (from our perspective) is that they installed a system for our home that is built over Black Jack Soil, which is very poor in percolation.

I really had a poor moving experience. The final price was about three times more than what I was…read moreoriginally quoted. The movers did not come from the location that I called adding additional unknown cost. There was some initial confusion about when the movers were set to arrive. At first, I was told it was going to be a morning move, and then the night before got a call saying it would be an afternoon moving. Then the morning of the move, I got a call saying they were an hour away. It added unnecessary frustration and confusion. I thought the movers really took their time and lacked hustle. My 10 minute relocation took 6 1/2 hours. Granted it was a hard move to the third floor with no elevator, but at the end of the day they couldn't reassemble my bed. I still have furniture that's wrapped in moving material. I also have some furniture that was reassembled incorrectly. The movers did what they could, but could've been more communicative and could've benefited from more training & support from the front office.

They move the entire apartment in less than 3 hours. They were extremely helpful and professional on top of friendly. They were so nice that even recommended me to move to a smaller space to save some money! I shopped around before contracted them but I decided to go with them for their reviews. Updating my review and still 5 stars! Steri-Clean VB came back this week to do a final clean out of…read moremy in-laws horribly hoarded home after the in-laws passed. They were here for 3 days last winter, and did an amazing job. We then were able to actually see what was of value in the house and remove it for resale. SO much stress lifted then!!! This time, Jen and Amanda were even more amazing!! We were heartbroken (after dealing with so many "pickers," antique dealers and auctioneers ,who did buy things, but not all), that we would have to trash so many useful things, but in came Steri-Clean VB! They contacted Habitat for Humanity and actually made arrangements for them to come pick up what they wanted. Hearts full! If I only had one word to say about Jen and Amanda and their crew (and I can say a lot!!!!) it would be "respectful." They get the job done, but they are respectful about everything as they go along. This is NOT some "junk clean out company" that trashes everything. They are quick to find something and bring it to you ("does this mean something to your family? Could it be valuable?") Cleaning out a hoarded estate house is incredibly overwhelming. Steri-Clean VB respected the house, my Hubby's parents and made it so easy for us. The house will FINALLY be on the market by the end of the week. There is NO WAY we could have been at this point without Amanda and Jen.

Amanda was quick to respond to my inquiry on a Saturday afternoon and fit me in for a walk-through the next day. With only a few days to work with I was very overwhelmed but Amanda and Jen made me feel comfortable and eased my mind on the site visit. I appreciated the extra TLC as a first timer, quick follow-up, and the step by step explanation on what was needed vs. what could wait. Amanda, Jen, and Matt were kind and professional to work with. I highly recommend. All in all, they helped make a stressful project a little more fun.

The theatre is small and classic with a little concessions area and nice bathrooms. It's a single-level theatre but the seats are angled well enough that no one's going to block your view of the stage. Really, any seat is a good seat. I attended the inaugural Virginia Cat Festival (day 1) here, with Jackson Galaxy as the keynote speaker. I enjoyed my visit all around and the venue was clearly clean and well-kept. I'd attend another event there in the future.
