After I missed up hooking the battery in wrong I blow every fuse in the 2004 camper including the radio. Took the carbon monoxide sensor out to get access but no joy. So, I thought I would remove the cabinet piece above. It was glued in, had to remove the ceiling piece to remove the back piece to remove the flooring piece. F@#ker was glued in !!!! Cut a section out to get access for the lock down tabs on the radio, pulled the radio out, replaced the damn fuse( which should have been fused to the fuse panel). To my surprise!!!!!, they had suck a damn piece of stereo wire 10 inches long as the radio antenna!!!!! The camper had a FACTORY installed roof antenna. To my f @#king amazement then was the end perfectly wired up antenna plug in wire!!!! The radio has always had bad reception, I thought all this time it was just a crappy radio. This is a review of the parts department. I have a forest river toy hauler and stuff breaks no matter what brand you have. I live near by and it was great that they had parts for my domestic leaking toilet. Down side was cost I could have ordered it on line cheaper but I decided to get it now. Recently purchased a 2003 lance camper model 821. The refrigerator did not work correctly and I decided to purchase a new one to replace it. Simple right? Certainly not, Lance in their infinite wisdom designed and built a camper where you physically have to disassemble the unit to take it out and disassemble the new one to put it in. Lance representative said you must do this very carefully as to not damage the refrigerator's cooling system. The representative also stated that "it was very poor engineering but it has been done this way since the sixties, .... and it doesn't seem right, sorry". That is all the help I got, a "sorry"! I use to work for them and hated every second at work. If you are white like I am they will make your life miserable. They will push you around so much and complain about every thing you do. They go out of their way to damage stuff and say you brought it damaged. Also watching campers and trailers being built they are not worth the cost. Purchased a 2012 855S. Took 31 months to have any warranty work done. We had black marks on the carpeting. Was told by Lance that my truck had emission issues and was not covered by warranty. Does that mean you can't use a diesel truck with Lance campers? If I had known that I would have not purchased a Lance camper. Lance had an issue with quality control. After 3 months carpet turned black, counter top edging coming apart, trim not sticking and coming off, burner on stove not working, had to have both propane hoses replaced. Had to replace both batteries after 13 months. Battery isolator not working after 13 months. Traveled 3 hours to the nearest Lance dealer to find nothing was covered under any warranty. read more

I purchased a brand new 2019 2465 Flagship travel trailer because I was impressed with the quality of my previous Lance. However after dropping my trailer off at the manufacturer a month ago, they are still working on awning issues that they were aware of upon releasing the trailer to the dealership. Not only is it taking forever to fix an existing issue, but there were other items brought to their attention, such as damaged countertops that appear to have had quick fixes taking away from the brand new feel. This amongst other items that were brought to their attention have become questionable as far as accountability that the manufacturer is willing to accept. Flaws!?!? Possibly! However how is it that this trailer was released for sale with these "flaws" and sold to us as "brand new" when Lance is refusing to correct items that their own quality control department left unnoticed? I'm truly disappointed and ready to speak with the owner of Lance Camper Trailers because I paid a pretty penny for this trailer and not only deserve to have a New Trailer but also deserve more respect than their customer service department can provide. In all honesty....their trailers can be great but it truly falls back on their service teams lack of empathy and understanding from a consumers point of view! read more

The worst product and the WORST customer service EVER!!!!! Did my research and thought I made the right decision to buy a Lance trailer.....WRONG!!!!! From the very first trip I had water leaks, electrical problems and things broken. Every camping trip I took I had to return it to the dealership for repair. The dealer, Dennis Dillon RV, was awesome, Lance Corporate....NOT SO MUCH. Needless to say after only owning what I thought would be my retirement travel trailer turned into a nightmare. Went back to DDRV and dropped my lance, or should I say, LEMON off and bought a class C! I asked Lance in Lancaster to send me what work they had done to my trailer (2016 1985) since they had it for 6 weeks during prime camping time. I have still never heard anything from Eric Miller one of their so called customer reps! I asked for an extension of my purchased extended warranty since I had SO MANY PROBLEMS and all Eric Miller would offer was one month!!!! Wow!!!! HORRIBLE customer service. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY A LANCE TRAVEL TRAILER. I own a Lance 1050S and have had it serviced several times at Lance in Lancaster. The camper is very high quality, therefore most of my required service was pretty routine (battery and black tank drain valve replacement). However, I did ask them to modify a cabinet, adding a new door to allow storage access in a blind unused section. They not only cut a very professional hole in the existing cabinet, but added a hinged door that exactly matched the wood color, grain, and style. Their Parts Department is well stocked, but the best thing is that when you need a replacement part that you can't find on the store shelf, they type your VIN into the computer, walk into the plant and come back with the exact part for your configuration. If I had to change anything, I'd like the Lance Service shop to primarily focus on Lance products. As it is, they accept work on ANY brand or make of RV, making them too busy to efficiently maintain schedules. read more

Lance Campers do not produce a nice product. Our 2011 1985 Lance trailer, after two years of use had a clean water tank that fell to the ground in our driveway. Lance ignored our problem and did nothing to rectify this problem. Also, our undercarriage is full of rust. We paid $10,000. more for the Lance, than other trailers on the lot, thinking we were buying quality. We are more that disappointed with our trailer and with Lance's customer service. $500. would have more than covered the damage to our trailer now they are going to receive thousands of dollars of negative advertising from us. read more

I bought a 2016 Lance camper brand new and everytime I take it out something breaks the warranty was horrible the company would not return calls or fix things properly when it was taken in for service. One of the electric jacks was bad from the beginning took it in twice for service they said it was fixed it did the same thing just called Lance been 3 years after the warranty and they refuse to replace it. Here's the list the Jack broke, the surround metal around the stove fell off. It was fixed on warranty and fell off a year later. the trim around the slide out fell off, the retractable garbage can fell apart the decals are falling off half the LEDs on the awning do not work the sink handle has broken twice one of the blinds fell apart at the be rebuilt the shelf above the sink fell off, the CO2 smoke detector quit working after 2 years the hot water line to the kitchen sink blew off in the middle of the night the first time I use the outside shower the whole unit blew apart. I have many more but I'm getting tired and it brings me great anxiety thinking about it. In closing stay away from Lance the quality and warranty is horrible. read more

Lance Campers is on Facebook as well. If you post negative reply's on that site they will delete it. Good thing about Yelp, they cant do that so the truth gets out. We have a 2011 Camper that we purchased from Pacific Travel Center in Tacoma WA. Lance Manufacturing doesn't respond to items of warrantee and Pacific Travel does more damage then good. We've taken our Lance Camper to the factory repair in Lancaster three times and each time the repairs have had to be re-done. The latest repair was to the shade on the skylight which, after three years of use, had come unstrung. After spending an entire day at the repair facility, not to mention $300, they installed the new shade upside down. Dopey me, I didn't check their work until I was getting the camper ready for a trip two weeks later. Who would have thought they didn't know the reflective side should actually reflect the sunlight. Then, when we called Eric and left a message about getting it fixed, he didn't even show the courtesy of calling back. I'm disgusted with Lance. read more

I worked for this company for 7 months and all I have to say is that they suck ass. I was treated like shit, I would ask for help from my team leaders and they would tell me to figure it out on my own even though I couldn't figure it out, I did the best I could. Never had a complaint about my performance, was never written up about about anything, when I went in for my evaluation I was told about my excessive bathroom use considering the fact I have stomach problems and bloody nose problems. Was fired unprofessionally due to the fact I worked the whole day and then was fired a few hours after I returned home. Coworkers would steal your tools and when you would let your supervisor know he/she would tell you, "oh well". I felt like I was racially profiled against, nothing was said about being bilingual, and when I started working there I let them know I couldn't speak Spanish and they told me to learn and to deal with it and when I asked them to speak English to me, they would tell me no. There were other non Spanish employees who had the same complaint and were told the same "deal with it". All in all bullshit company!!! read more

I purchased a Lance trailer model 1575 in June. Since then we have had numerouse problems that point to quality issues. A hole in the roof that never got plugged so water drained into an electrical outlet in the bathroom ceiling where it was mounted. Almost all of the cabinets and the table have edge molding that has generally popped loose. Leaky plumbing under the sink. DC hookup for the refrigerator isn't working. Latest is with the electrical awning where the awning won't fully retract. Lance wants to blame the awning on me rather than stand behind their product. The awning was not misused or damaged in the couple of outings in which it was used. It is just a quality problem with the installation or the product which they don't want to back up under warranty. My recommendation is forget about Lance and keep looking for other RV's. They look great, but when a manufacturer doesn't stand behind their warranty they are not worth dealing with. Too many other good brands to choose from. read more
