Water dripping from fan controls, long term water damage on seam tape next to fan. This was in a NEW 1172 camper. BUYER BEWARE!
    Corey D.

BUYER BEWARE! The roofs leak in several places on many new RVs. I was told by someone at the dealer and Lance (after my purchase) that there are problems with the tape used to seal the roof openings and the dealers are supposed to pull the tape and reseal the roof. At least 3 problems with that: 1. This does not address the water that went in the roof and wire raceways prior to the dealer fix. 2. The dealer is not the manufacturer and there is no way to know if they did a good job until more water damage appears. 3. The dealer may not bother to fix the roof and sell you a new unit guaranteed to leak, and most likely with long term water damage. (This is what happened to me!) THEN, THE FIX IS TO SHIP THE UNIT TO CALIFORNIA FROM COLORADO TO FIX A UNIT THAT HAS WATER DAMAGE FOR ALMOST A YEAR WHILE IT SAT ON THE DEALER LOT. Welcome to the Lance family!! You have been warned......

2015 Lance 865 Camper pulled by a 2005 Nissan Titan! (after back window replacement!) : )

We inherited a 2015 Lance 865 camper a couple of years ago. I locked myself out in the desert and had to break the window to get in as we were in the middle of nowhere. Called parts and got the parts quickly and I personally installed it easily. Then it was missing the board to the dinette sleeping area. I called last week and spoke with CS and "Andrea" looked it up and sent me the dimensions as we were leaving the next day for a camping trip. I went to Home Depot and got the board cut out and it was perfect. I have had a few minor problems with the camper, but overall it has been fantastic. The Customer Service team and parts departments are BUSY when you call in. But they always pay attention to detail and take care of us. THANK YOU to Lance for being there when we need you!

In 2009 I bought a used 2003 Lance camper model 1121 from the original owner. I've been to Lance Campers' Headquarters in Lancaster once for "camper service" in the 9+ years I've owned it. Overall, I've been satisfied with the camper. Last Friday morning one of the windows in the pop-out dinette shattered. I ended up having several telephone calls with Lance employees regarding a window replacement. I needed the camper's serial number in order to determine which exact window was needed, I want to acknowledge the helpfulness and professionalism of two employees: "Audra" in "Service" who confirmed my camper's manufacture date and looked up it's serial number in less than two minutes. "Steven H." in "Parts" who answered my call at 4:59 on a Friday afternoon, and then very carefully researched the window's manufacturer and the distributor (they are different) despite Lance not having used this particular window in years. OUTSTANDING customer service by both "Audra" and "Steven." However, "Joseph" in "Customer Service" was no help at all. I told him I had been there with the camper for service before and asked if he could look up my camper's serial number? "Joseph" related his computer did not have that information. I asked if the "Service Department" would have it and he laughed saying the information was not available and that I would have to research my records. "Joseph" in "Customer Service" couldn't get me off the of phone fast enough. I'm sure he had important stuff to do on his personal smartphone! Useless! I had to hang-up, call back and transfer to the "Service Department," where "Audra" looked up the information in minutes! Side note: The window I need is no longer being manufactured. To have a similar custom replacement window made is $1,000 to $2,000 depending of which style window I chose to replace it with. That is problem with having a older camper.

Dedicated customer service is a rare thing these days but Audra is nailing it.

You might not realize how huge and dangerous some of these birds really are, but they average about 9 feet to 12 feet tall and from 250 to 350 pounds. And, they can be quite deadly. During the mating season, the males will instantly try to attack you if you get close. They've got about 6 to 10 different ostriches in separate fenced off areas. If you pay a few dollars for a tour, they will walk you down and show you the different ostriches they have, as well as provide some pretty interesting ostrich facts. Their feet are crazy as they are the only two toed bird on earth. Looking at them it is easy to see how they are related to dinosaurs because it looks just like a dinosaur foot. You can also buy ostrich eggs if they have them available, which are equal to about 24 to 36 eggs. The flavor and consistency is actually pretty good as well and very similar to chicken eggs. They also sell honey and a bunch of other things. Also, in certain times of year, you can go and see the baby ostrich chicks that they raise. If you're feeling adventurous, this is definitely worth a trip, especially if you have kids. This has become a fun stop we started making on our annual visit to the California Poppy Preserve in Antelope Valley. I would call ahead and see what's going on with tours and everything else. Five stars.

So the story is....Memorial day weekend I was looking for inexpensive transportation to Las Vegas and back. I considered driving but I really didn't want to deal with the traffic or the price of gas. I thought about flying but flights were all too expensive. I looked into ride sharing through Craigslist but I couldn't find anyone that was leaving and returning a similar time of day that I was. But then while searching Craigslist...I found a shuttle service offering round trip service from the LA area to Las Vegas at a great price! It was almost half the price that it would have cost if I had driven myself and paid for the gas. It was nice because I was able to book my trip quickly by phone and then conveniently pay through Paypal (using credit card), which gives security so you don't have to deal with paying in cash and you automatically get confirmation and a receipt via email. The shuttle picked me up at 9 am from Anaheim Metrolink station (one of the many pickup/dropoff locations in the LA area) after giving me a courtesy phone call an hour prior to pick up to let me know the shuttle would be arriving soon. This was very convenient! From there it was a quick 4 hour ride to Vegas with a couple other passengers. After a crazy time in Vegas, I was reminded via text message that the shuttle would be departing at 5 pm, just in case I drank too much during the weekend and forgot how I was getting home :) The return trip was equally as smooth. It departed 5 pm on Sunday night from the Vegas strip and I was able to sit back and relax and catch up on some much needed sleep. I arrived back in Anaheim around 9:30 to end a great weekend! I can't stress enough how convenient and affordable this shuttle service was. I didn't have to deal with having to drive in ridiculous Memorial Day traffic, I saved money not having to pay gas, I was able to sleep on the way home, and I had some great conversations with the drivers and fellow passengers. I would definitely recommend this shuttle to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive alternative to driving to Vegas! I will be using this service for my next Vegas trip! Also, I found out they offer transportation to different tourist destinations and even provide charter services which allow you to rent a shuttle for various group events.

I need the phone number please! I would like a quote to go to San Deigo and back to Palmdale . Or…read morecontact me 661 618 2343
