Lance called me back within 24 hours regarding a steady leak we had on the pressurized line into our backyard irrigation system. He came out the next day to survey the job, then scheduled the repair for a couple of days later. Luckily I was able to slow the leak down until Lance could arrive and he fixed everything within a couple of hours. He also pointed out a few things regarding the original installation of the system that I wasn't aware of, which helped me understand areas where we could have potential problems in the future. I would not hesitate to have Lance come back at some point and correct the other defects we have in our irrigation setup. Nice guy, prompt, and knowledgeable. We had Lance come by today to inspect and repair a broken sprinkler line that was caused by a stake that was hammered into our grass for holding a kids jumper. Unfortunately, the vendor installing the jumper was unaware of the line below and broke it. Lance did a great job in not only repairing the line, but also helped adjust some of the sprinkler heads around the yard where we had noticed our grass was beginning to burn out during the past couple of weeks. He also did some additional work in repairing some of our nozzles and are very satisfied of all of his work! This is my first online review for any service. So it goes to show how important it is for me to share my experience. We moved into our house 2 years ago and the front and back yard came with pre-installed drip and sprinkler system. It works really well along with the timer - it's just that it needs some adjustment. Drips have come out of the plants or the rubber tubes out of the unit itself. Wanted someone to come in and adjust those and set the timer for me. After calling Lance and agreeing to pay him quoted $150 for the job - which he said might be completed the same day since it was minor. He came to inspect and saw opportunity to make money. Inspected and told me this long winded need to convert everything to spray and run the rubber tubes handed me this long itemized bill of a $1000. Obviously if the irrigation system was working before for years and the yard is maintained pristinely - I don't see the need for any of what he suggested. Not only that but he charged $125 for his visit which was 35 minutes. More expensive than an attorney. Straight face tells me he's got overhead expenses. I definitely don't recommend him unless you have money to throw around. Avoid him at all cost. read more

We just bought our house last year, which came with an irrigation system that is probably about 20 years old, so a lot of it has been in need of repair. I am very happy with the service from Lance on our sprinkler system. Last year we had a issue with major water usage however it was towards the end of the season so we just turned it all off. This year things appeared normal, however after a few weeks the zone for the front lawn totally stopped working. While Lance didn't immediately come out after my call, he did return my phone call even though he was on vacation and scheduled my service call. He arrived promptly and quickly identified an issue with a valve. The valve and several heads were replaced while he was here. From time of arrival to completion of job was about an hour. The cost of the service call was much more reasonable than the over-the-top water bills we got for two month last summer! read more

We had a problem with our sprinkler system and after checking Yelp reviews I decided to give Lanceco a try. I called a few other places two, but Lance was the first one to return my call so he got the job. All went well with the repair, the price was fair and I didn't even have to stay at home for Lance to fix the system. The only reason for four rather than five stars is the time it took for Lance to come out. It was a bit over a week from the time I called to the date of the appointment. I was able to wait, so it wasn't a huge deal, and it showed that Lance is busy, which is always a good sign. But it did keep the rating to 4 stars. read more

I recently called Lance to help solve a problem valve in our irrigation system. He returned my call the same day and we set up an appointment. He quickly determined a power issue was the problem. He said I needed to replace the pressure control valve on the main line into the house and then he could better assess how the sprinklers are working. I had Reed Plumbing change out the valve and replace the little gate valves (these valves break and/or leak easily) with 1/4 turn ball valves. The difference was huge for both the sprinklers and the faucets inside the house. I then scheduled an appointment with Lance to fix the sprinkler problem. He was on time and got right to work. He fixed the power issue and a couple of other problems in less than an hour. I would highly recommend Lance. read more

I was having an issue with one of my zones not coming on. I had my gardner look at the issue and he could not figure out what the problem was. If you have any sort of problem with your sprinkler system, Lanceco is the one to call. Lance fixed our problem in no time. The price was fair. His knowledge and expertise was apparent. One said he wasn't available until January and one said he would call to schedule an appointment and never did. My irrigation sprinkler timer wasn't working in back. They quickly diagnosed the problem and got right to fixing it. Needed my leaking pipe that fed into the sprinkler regulator repaired along with a quote for basically re landscaping the entire backyard. Put my info in on the website (they ask for 48 hours to reply) on Sun night. Ended up calling on Mon & leaving a message because I was concerned about the pipe leak. As of Friday no response. Got the leak fixed by someone else, will likely have them do the sod, new drip under the sod & lay the gopher netting around the perimeter & below the sod as well. When I called Lanceco and described my sprinkler coverage issue, I was told they have some technology to fix these kinds of issues and that they could come by and recommend a fix. There is a minimum fee of $40, so they came out and said I needed low flow spray heads called MP rotator. The estimate came in at $320 for about 10 heads. I thought this was on the high side, so I opted to do it myself for about $75 and an hour or so of work. From reading the other reviews, I'm sure they do good work for larger jobs, but if you have a smaller job like mine, be ready to pay a premium for their services. read more
