Forgot to take photos of the food!! But here's the receipt!

4/21/26- 4.5* walked in with our work attire on and even though it is a fancier restraunt, nobody seemed to mind. Our waiter was Robin and she was awesome! She was there for our drinks, waters, appetizers, and entrees with no wait and didn't miss a beat. She served all four of us on four different tickets with no confusion and it was very impressive! I'll speak on my order only as majority thought I had the best meal of the night. I got the surf n turf which was a 8 oz Waygu teriyaki top sirloin with 3 tempura prawns with coconut sauce and mashed potato. I asked for medium and it was perfect red center and the teriyaki sauce on top was perfect and all the guys agreed. The prawns are the same prawns as the appetizer just 3 with the plate, but the coconut sauce was great! Creamy and coconuty! Mashed potatoes were really good no complaints, soft and not buttery but still tasty. The guys I was with got the vanilla bean crembrule and the chocolate lava cake and there was nothing left so that tells you how good both were! I'm usually on top of it for photos but forgot this time and only have receipt as proof, looks like I'll just have to go back.

Nice, steak and seafood restaurant. Food: 4/5. The drink options are great. I had the surf and turf, which was as expected. The coconut sauce for the shrimp is delicious! The meats tend to be a little less cooked than requested. The mashed potatoes were just ok. I really loved the Thai Noodle salad. Spicy and delicious! We got the cheesecake to go which was Oreo and it was pretty good for to go. Service: 5/5. Our server was really great. Friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. Environment: 4.5/5. I really enjoy the inside of the restaurant. It's a clean, warm vibe. There is a patio that looks really nice as well, however it is right next to the very busy Eagle road.

Outside, very modern restaurant, I love the fire places outside and inside.

Got to dine in today and Land Ocean didn't disappoint! It's a beautiful, modern restaurant, the bar is set in the middle with comfortable couch sections to sit around and some tables for different types of parties. Beautiful fire lamps around the restaurant, inside and outside. Our server Jaqueline was very attentive and helpful, she took great care of us. The food was excellent. The steak was delicious and tender and the burger was very flavorful. We had salads and clam chowder as well. The lava cake was delicious! My husband enjoyed his Pinot Noir. Definitely recommend!

Non Local here! I come from Nevada and it's really difficult to find a place that has delicious food and great service combined! When you enter, you can see the entire dining room. I love the open concept. The decor is beautifully modern and has a warm aesthetic. The server we had was awesome! She enjoyed telling her stories and was friendly at doing so. Now theeee food. Well, I ordered the filet mignon, medium rare. Which was made to perfection! It came with double baked mashed potatoes, asparagus and sautéed mushrooms. When I say this was so good, it was sooooo good. The mushrooms were amazing! I shared the mignon with my brother because it was close to 7-6oz. It was larger than most mignon and that is ok! Last but not least, I saved room for dessert. I enjoyed their lava cake! Sweet and yummy! When I return to Boise. I will definitely be back! Thank you!

We were in town celebrating a milestone birthday for my mom and Land Ocean turned out to be the perfect place for a special dinner, even on a very busy Friday night. Our server, Chris, was fantastic from the moment we sat down. He had our drinks out quickly. Appetizers arrived at just the right time, he perfectly paced our meal. We shared the calamari, crab cakes and poke tacos at our table. All of the apps were good. The crab cakes seemed to be everyone's favorite though. They were generously packed with crab and finished with a beautifully crisp exterior. Both the crab cakes and calamari had the same spicy aioli which everyone enjoyed. Since we were celebrating, I had the Land Ocean which consisted of a petite filet and lobster tail with bearnaise and asparagus. My mom had the same plate but with the twice baked potato. She raved about her meal. Seeing her enjoy her birthday meal made the night even more memorable. Chris surprised our table with a birthday dessert, a thoughtful touch. We ended the meal by sharing a tasty creme brulee. Land Ocean helped make my mom's birthday dinner truly special, and we were grateful for the warm service and excellent food.

I came here with my girl for our third year dating anniversary, as a young couple it was like many other places. Of course they had an extensive wine menu, but even though we were both underage there were many options for us. My girls strawberry lemonade was pretty tasty. We made a reservation, so we were seated pretty quickly. The folks were so nice, the ambiance was pretty chill, having dairy queen as a general date spot this was a wonderful treat for us both. We ordered an appetizer of cheese bread. I thought it was pretty good quality, a little high price, bur I expected that because it's a higher end restaurant. Our entree's took a bit of time, but it was to be expected the place wasn't empty. I think we waited somewhere between 15 to 30 minutes after we finished our bread. But when they came, it was worth the wait. I ordered a 14 oz new york strip. My family raises their own beef, so steak is nothing new to us. It was so good, I took a piece home to share with my family, and everyone agreed, it was fantastic. My girl had the rotisserie chicken, falling off the bone delicious, Colonel Sanders needs to step up his game. Another thing I can say, I find usually in high end restaurants I find myself still hungry afterwords, not here, I was completely satisfied with my meal. We ordered dessert, it was the vanilla bean something or other, don't eat fancy so I don't quite know these things. Here comes my only complaint, the sugar coating tasted a bit like burnt coffee, but was still delicious and we ate the whole thing. Before she brought it out, our server asked about the occasion. She took a picture of us with our dessert, which had writing in strawberry sauce, "happy anniversary". Like I said, we don't eat fancy often, especially because we feel unwelcome in many places with as young as we are (18 and 19), but this place made both me and my girl feel special, thank you land and ocean. I cut our faces out for privacy, she took a good picture don't worry about that.

Starting with the ambiance when you walked in the door, to our server Robin who was spectacular; friendly, personable, and knowledgeable, we had an incredible experience! One of the specials was Swordfish and I've had the Chilean Sea Bass before and loved it, so it was a hard decision. Robin provided the details needed for me to decide on the Swordfish, which did not disappoint! The coconut rice with a very light mango sauce topped with a cucumber slaw elevated this swordfish in ways only a 5-star chef would know how to do. My husband had the Teriyaki Wagyu Sirloin and it was cooked perfectly. We completed our meal with a stellar dessert. We leaned on Robin once more as all the desserts sounded wonderful. Her recommendation was the seasonal cheesecake which was a Cafe Latte flavor. Oh My Goodness! Soooo delicious. Treat yourself... you won't regret it.

I was expecting better especially since I had my bosses in town. While we didn't have a reservation for a Monday we were made to feel like we needed one. We sat in the back and a view of the entire restaurant and perhaps I was mistaken. Land & Ocean is an upscale seafood and steakhouse yet it didn't look like one. I'm not sure what it looked like. Very odd interior design choices. Our waterboy seemed to like he was fresh off a hit of wacky lettuce and server Gabe while pleasant seemed to be distracted. I was expecting more seafood and steak options but there seems to be more sandwiches and burgers on the menu If L&O is going state that they have a dedicated vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free menus and go through the motions to get it and then come back say "  we have the impossible patty "  that's not a dedicated vegan, vegetarian or gluten free menu but rather disingenuous. The seat mates burger was not made properly and cheese was left off of another dish. Which brings me to the blue cheese dip. It's not blue but green. I've have eaten blue cheese from France and from several well know companies here in the NW. I'm not sure what L@O did to the blue cheese but I do know they ruined it. The French bread appetizer is a joke. Here's a pro tip. Work with ACME or Gastons's bakery for real French bread. All in all. I was very disappointed not only for me but for out of town visitors.

We have been coming here since they first opened and have never been disappointed. All of the food has been delicious and cooked perfectly. Their land and ocean was amazing. The steak is melt in your mouth tender, the chicken is cooked prefect with amazing seasonings, the cheesy bread.. so so good. I tried the beef wellington happy hour appetizer. The pastry was light and puffy, meat was tender and the sauces brought the dish together. Everyone has always been very polite and the decor is relaxing. They make very well balanced drinks. My favorite, so far, is the coconut monitor. Safe to say we like coming here and look forward to do so.

Spicy, bold, and ridiculously tasty. Coffee? Strong and smooth. The prices were so low I thought they misprinted the menu, and then the portions came out and confirmed we'd officially scored. I usually pay $3.00 for coffee and this was $3.75, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. Service was spot on, always refilled my coffee and checked if I was doing well. I got a booth which was clean and comfortable. It was kinda busy for a Tuesday at 930, but they take your number and text you when ready. Waited about ten minutes. I got the breakfast burrito with red sauce. I get the wet burrito quite often and was actually surprised to see the sauce on the plate and not poured over the burrito. But, try it and see. The only problem with sauce on the plate is not enough sauce. Next time I'll just ask them to put sauce on top. Bathroom was clean and stocked, but seat was broken off on one side. The eggs were actually poached perfectly. Seriously, my mouth is watering just reflecting on the food. The toasted single ciabatta is something that I liked versus a couple English muffins. The smoked ham a tad salty but paired with the hollandaise very well. Ripe tomatoes. The greens for a side was my choice versus potatoes. I'll have to try the potatoes next time because this day was going to be hot and smokey, so I needed to keep it light. I drink coffee black, and the coffee was really good. On the service, as some have complained about, I can't really speak to that. I went in before work, so I was there at 7. By the time I left at 7:45, two more tables came in and one had already left. 9 or 10am on a Sunday is probably different. So the service was good for me. The decor was an updated nautical theme that I seen before. A few decades ago, I went to a First Watch in a land far away. When it was brought to the Boise area, I thought it would be interesting to have that seasonal approach option compared to fixed menu Cisco approach. And if you're good with a standard pancake, maple flavored syrup, a couple slices of bacon, and two plain scrambled eggs - do that. If you like something interesting, First Watch.

I ordered the Chipotle Steak & Queso seasonal item. The presentation was nice but for the money I would never order again. When ordering you think of meat with the word steak. The 5-6 little pieces of steak hidden with all the potato and other items just was not satisfying at all for my hunger. The potatoes were undercooked with tough and chewy tortillas as well. Being a hash they should have a crispy bite to them not all soft and mushy. My partner was with me and had The Works Omelet and it was good but again the potatoes were mushy and nothing browned or crispy to them. The coffee was a bit bitter and when the server brought out water with the water glasses one of the was still dirty. Not something I would expect from a restaurant, when I worked as a server I looked at Everything I brought to the table for a guest when it came to glassware and utensils. So needless to say it will be a long time before if I ever come back to this place. I enjoy LePeep much better and have never had these issues, heck I have had better at IHop for the money I have spent here.

I'm not really in favor of having to give your cell phone number to feed into their app so you know when your table is ready, but there you have it. The inside is pretty cool if you are into that "converted warehouse" feel of exposed beam crossed with a country kitchen feel. Tables aren't crammed together, definitely a sense of space. There are booth options as well. And as I prefer, no TVs. There were 2 groups of 14 that were served during our visit, so they can definitely accommodate larger parties. Our server rarely checked in, took 10 minutes to refill coffee after we requested a top off (she forgot), and never ended up refilling out water. The coffee we did get was good though. As always, I'm a hollandaise connoisseur as the foundation for perfect Benedict - my go to breakfast item. So I asked for a sample before I ordered, and I'm glad I did. The Griddle's hollandaise was curious. It was clearly about 25-50% powdered mix (which tastes like nasty beef gravy) with the balance being added clarified butter and a very strong dose of lemon. It was marginal, but good enough. So, I went with the crab cake Benedict. The crab cakes were a bit "fishy," so the strong lemon flavor was a plus. After flagging down our server, I requested a new poached egg as one of them arrived hard boiled. (I want runny yolks as hard boiled are too chalky for my taste.) The replacement egg was delivered very quickly. My guest had the banana Texas french toast special with added bacon and scrambled eggs. Bacon was nice and thick, nicely cooked. Scrambled eggs are pretty much just that. The french toast did have great body to it, but I'm not a huge banana fan. Still enjoyed it though. I would consider this an option for a revisit.
