I've been waiting for weights to come in for over 4 months now. When I went into the store to…read morepurchase the weights back in the June, the store rep told me I should have my weights in the next week. After talking to Michelle the following week she told me that due to all their order of weights, that the estimated time to receive the weights would take longer, but that I should call back Thursday or Saturdays as thats when they typically receive their shipments. She also told me that despite initially being told the store would call me when the weights were ready, I should call because they did not have enough time to call people to tell them their orders were ready. Each time I had been into the store, the same guy at the front desk was always playing on his cell phone, so how are they too busy to pick up the phone to call customers if the people who work there are dilly dallying. I just think they need to be more truthful when telling people dates or say we will get back to you. Most recently I called to find out about my weights, and the guy on the phone said that they should have these weights in the next shipment next week. This is the same line I've been told every Thursday/ Saturday that I call. He said they had a metal weights in stock for the weights that I had purchased, however he continued on to say he had to make sure they weren't reserved. Why would you tell a customer that you have something but then you have to make sure they aren't reserved, that makes NO sense. Also they said they would check into something for me and then call me back, but they did not do that, which doesn't surprise me and they still did not have the answer to my question. Some say I let this go on too long before doing anything, but its COVID so I was a little more lenient with it. I would NOT recommend buying anything from this store as their customer service has been unreliable and unprofessional.

After making an assessment of my feet, using a pretty sophisticated foot scanning device, Matt and Leah educated me about the role our feel play. I left with 2 pair of new shoes. I know what they told me was true, because a year and a half later, my knee pain returned. WHY? I clearly had A LOT of miles on those sneakers. New sneakers last week and am I once again free of pain! Moral of the story..... Visit Root Runners often if you want your feet, knees, hips and face to be happy. You just do not find this type of personalized attention and knowledge at big sports or shoe stores.

While we have had good experiences with Doug's Rug before, our most recent installation has been…read morenothing but frustrating. The caret pad we specified and were quoted was replaced with a lower grade pad with a less comprehensive warranty. Within 3 months of installation the seams are showing and edges of the carpet that interface with other flooring are failing. We have called multiple times to have Doug's come out to inspect and repair. They do not return calls and when we do reach them they give vague promises to schedule a visit. Over 5 months later nothing. This is in stark contrast to the irritating persistence of the woman who runs the showroom , schedules and collects payment. In our opinion, she is unrelenting and irritating when collecting money during the deposit and installation, and unreachable when there is a problem. After multiple broken promises to fix the issues we've experienced, we recently visited the showroom in Flanders. The state of the store says everything. It is a catastrophe. Messy, unwelcoming and dirty with the woman mentioned before ensconced at a messy desk in the rear not even deigning to greet a customer walking through the front door, but rather staring with an irritated "why are you bothering me" look until we engaged her. Even the face to face promise made to fix remains broken a month later. No follow up, nothing At this time we recommend avoiding Doug's Rugs at all costs. This is a huge disappointment as we strive to support small local businesses whenever we have a choice.

I was away from home on business and got a call from my mother that the chair was wobbeling and the chair was not working properly . I called Lake Surgical about the problem. They sent a repairman out to my mothers apartment to fix the chair 2 hours later. The repairman found her water bottle stuck under her chair so the chair was not stable. They were very polite to my mother and they did not send me a bill for helping my mother. I was very happy that they helped my mother.
