I've tried other places at the liberty station public market but this was my first time trying Landini's. They had a sign for happy hour on weekdays 2-6pm for a slice & soda deal. When my friend tried to order it, they said she had to get 2 slices which was weird. I wasn't that hungry so I just got 1 slice of pepperoni pizza. It was over $6. It wasn't anything special. I wasn't impressed and wouldn't try this again unfortunately.
A little Italian pizza shop with outside seating or inside seating was a must do while walking through a little Italy. Pizzas are on display right as you walk in creating a quaint atmosphere. Loved the variety of pizzas, I got an ultimate pizza and a chicken bacon, ranch pizza. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was OK not extremely flavorful, but loved the total experience. Service there was great, welcoming and warm. Altogether two pizzas for $12.50 roughly.

Was in the area and had to grab a few slices to-go from my favorite pizza/pasta spot in SoCal. Slices: Buy 3 get 1 free, its equivalent to half a pie (just under $5/slice or $20 total). I like the variety pack of slices. If you only like one style, grabbing a whole pie cut to 6-8 large slices is a better deal (~$25-$30 total). As always, the slices were delicious, the service was fast and friendly, and the outdoor sidewalk seating is perfect for people watching. Each slice is crispy, thin, foldable and PACKED with flavor. They have about 10 small round tables for open seating in the sidewalk. The interior dining area has a few spots as well. The parking in little Italy still sucks, so good luck with that.

If you're looking for a quick place to eat while visiting little Italy I recommend stopping by Landinis. I ordered a daily special which comes with two slices of pizza and a canned soda, I ordered a buffalo chicken and a pepperoni with ricotta and basil, they were both good, the crust is nice and crispy, super thin just how I like it. I got the order to go because I wanted to enjoy it in the plaza but they have plenty of seating indoors.

Slices were around $6 which is on the higher-end but we did order 4 slices which was great because they have a Buy 3 get 1 Free slice deal everyday. They have some seating inside which was nice and clean too. The meatball and ricotta was an okay slice. The meatball and overall slice could have used some more flavor/seasoning. I also gota pepperoni, basil, ricotta, hot honey slice which was better. The crust was decent and had more chew than crisp. While it was okay, I'd prefer to go to another shop when I'm craving a slice.

The different seating areas are a plus, including inside, outside and a cute little patio in the back and extra plus that its dog-friendly. They have a good variety of pizzas which are already made and on display that they reheat for you. The pizza is decent with a thin crust and crunchy crust but can be a little greasy. This place has some great New York style pizza. One of my buddies got it for an event we were having and I was blown away. The char on the crust is perfect. We had the pepperoni, buffalo chicken, and meat lovers. All three were delicious. The Buffalo chicken was my favorite. I didn't want to stop eating it.
In all the pizza joints in Little Italy, you should walk into this one. This place clearly earns the label "Pizza Joint". They have more on the menu but the pizza keeps them coming back. It's more of a takeout place but there are a few tables on the side and in front. Be aware most of the tables outside belong to the restaurant upstairs. Seems a common mistake to sit at the wrong table. We had 2 pasta dishes as well but, trust me, you came for the pizza. (Pasta will be on paper plates.) It's an order counter but they bring the food to you if you're dine-in. The guys were nice and we enjoyed the place.

This is hands-down, some of the best pizza I've ever had! It's literally so perfect and a crunchy!! this isn't a fancy or bougie place by any means, but the service is great from the people inside and the food is just as great. We always get the two slices and the soda deal when we're walking around. They have some indoor seating and some patio seating as well for you to enjoy your food. I would definitely recommend the Sopranos and the Hawaiian. I would also recommend their delicious garlic knots. They're also serve fresh and they're so cheesy and delicious. read more

Stopped in for a couple of pieces of pizza. Sat at a table outside and were told we could not sit there if we purchased pizza. These signs clearly state "open to public at all times." Here's the kicker - NO ONE was sitting at ANY of the dozen or so outside tables. I'll be reporting them. Crappy business practice! read more

Good, walk -up and order, take it away or quickly eat your pies or slice . We took ours to go but there is a small dine-in area in the back. They have a serve-yourself water dispenser. Straight to the point, just plain-good New-York style pizza. We tried the mushroom, tomato and basil, and spinach pizza. All were a hit. The crust has a hint of garlic and butter. Perfect crunch, satisfied my pizza craving for the night. Reasonably priced for today's inflated prices. read more
Wanted to just bring in some pizza for dinner. Since we were in Little Italy we had a plethora of places to choose from. After some consideration and reviewing Yelp scores, we decided to try this place. The prices were pretty solid and the online ordering was very easy. I walked up the road to pick up the pizza. I was pleasantly surprised to find that although I was about 10 minutes early the pizza was ready. The folks inside working were very friendly. I was surprised how light the box was when I picked it up. But then I remembered it was a NY style pizza, a style that I prefer over the thicker crust pizzas. The pizza was still warm when I arrived back to my room. We started a movie, cracked open a beer and dig into the pizza. It was pretty decent. Huge slices, thin crust and tons of pepperoni. We all enjoyed it a lot. read more
I always grab a slice or two when in little Italy! Quick fast and very good pizza! What i like about this place is they make fresh pasta dishes. My favorite is their Carbonara!! (Restaurant quality from a pizza joint) Service is fast but friendly. Very cool and casual spot to grab some really solid food. read more
Our go to spot for a quick easy bite whenever we're in Little Italy. So many varieties of pizza, quick walk up service and priced right. We love to grab a table outside, people watch and enjoy the weather. The sign says buy 3 slices get one free every day but they did not offer us our 4th slice on this visit, a little disappointed. read more

Walking around the farmer's market and we stumbled upon this gem pizzeria. Parking might be crazy but it's worth it. My hubby and I took the mts from mission valley area. High quality pizza, great customer service, and outdoor seating what more can I say?! Best experience. Best ricotta pizzas. Dreams really do come true guys. The pizza was good. The service was good. We ordered our food and our slices were ready within minutes. We waited about 10-15 minutes for the pizza. The ambience was chill. They have country music playing in the background. We ordered: A whole pepperoni 18" (4/5) - it was a little greasy 2 slices and a soda combo- pesto (5/5) and spinach with ricotta (4/5) The crust was thin and crunchy. Overall, good pizza. read more

in the heart of little Italy, this quaint restaurant offers great pizza! Whether you're buying a single slice for $5.99 or a $14 combo of 2 slices + a drink, it satisfies your cravings! They also sell salads, panini's, wings, pasta, and desserts. They have an upstairs seating area for those wanting to dine in, but beware, there is an outdoor patio right in front of the restaurant that is not their seating area! If you sit there, you will be asked to move. It's such a cozy restaurant, definitely popular and the workers are very kind, helpful and friendly! The pizza slices were thin, but tasty! I've had pizza by the slice here which is always a bit underwhelming as it's been sitting in a case and is often a bit dry. This was my first time getting a whole pizza and it was great - I would definitely recommend ordering that way if you can. We got the meat lovers pizza and were big fans. We stopped by on a very short weekend trip to San Diego! We decided to visit Little Italy which is located in the downtown area and is an entire neighborhood dedicated to cute, fun and small but very accessible restaurants, bars and shops. We went at nighttime and it might have been the best decision because it was really beautiful at night. It is surrounded by the harbor as well so we were able to walk by the water and check out other shops that were around there. We decided to grab a slice of pizza at Landini's Pizzeria which they had a special of two slices of pizza with a drink for $13. Not bad at all! It was also worth it because they were a good size and very delicious! I got the regular pepperoni pizza while my family enjoyed some veggie ones. Everything was super delicious and we were served very quickly. The staff did a great job on facilitating everyone who wanted to grub. There is limited seating inside and also outdoors so there is a chance that you may not be able to dine in. However, there is still a chance. Luckily, there is so much to see around to be able to walk around. If you're visiting San Diego, I'd recommend visiting this nice neighborhood! I would love to come back someday. read more

Came here on a busy Friday night and service was fast and good. The pizza was delicious, nice and thin. They have tables outside to sit which was nice because inside is small and hot in this night. Would definitely return. read more
I was walking the puppy around Little Italy at 9 pm on a Saturday night and saw all the pizza shops. The menu is large and they sell slices. 2 slices and soda for $12. The slices were hot and crispy. The service was nice and quick. Pick your slice and they heat them up. read more

I work in the area and use to get slices here all the time on my lunch break. Unfortunately, the last two times I stopped by my slices were still cold to the touch. I even mentioned it to the girl working my next visit, and asked to please make sure it's hot. She said that their oven was running hot and they should be hot this time. Nope, still very much cold. I was surprised how fast she took out the slices from the oven. This was around 2pm on a weekday. I have since been going to other options in the area. Hope they address this because I once considered this place a hidden gem. read more

Landinis, Landinis, Landinis. Chefs kiss!! Honestly one of the best pizza I've ever had. The kids and I tried it for the first time this weekend and we probably ordered it for 2 more meals for our weekend get away. We tried different slices here and not one slice of pizza let us know. The quality, freshness, and flavor is the best we've had on a pizza. The service is just as great. Ambiance is super chill with plenty of seating in the back patio. Late night munchie stop and there was no wait time. I heard the wait time could be insane during regular business hours. So I'm glad to be able to stop in at night and enjoy a nice hot/crispy slice. Customer service was amazing and they serve my food quickly. The ambiance feels cozy with the many boxes of pizzas stacked on the wall and decorations adorned. I would recommend coming here and giving this a try!! read more

Make sure you let them know in advance. You would have to do the patio out back and it's a popular spot.
How many people does one pizza feed, approximately?
If you're a true pizza monster, then you could eat the whole thing yourself! If not, I would say you could feed 4-6 people with one pizza... pfft... weenies.
