I saw a movie at this Landmark theater yesterday afternoon. The theater has definitely seen better days (really worn out seats in the theaters), but otherwise is a pretty standard movie theater these days. You walk up a flight of stairs into a large concession area, with small movie theaters around the concession area. Not a bad place to see a movie if you like indie movies and live in the Annapolis area.

This is the amount of fries you get as a side ($4). Do better Landmark!

Penny-pinching on French fries? C'mon! I was so shocked I even asked if this was the normal amount and it was confirmed. I'd be embarrassed to serve this to someone. More motivation to wait and see movies when they stream.

I'm SO glad that the theaters at this location are open again. It is SO much better than going to the mall. My husband wanted to see Avatar. On Tuesdays, they had a special, so the price for both of us for a 3D show was only $20. There is some seating out by the concessions. They have different popcorn & soda combos; the senior combo is only $10, and kids are $8. It's easy to buy your tickets online, choose your reclining seats, and then you just show your QR code to check in. I was even able to change my mind, book another time online, and get an immediate refund. The staff was very pleasant.

Seats are torn and discussing, I was vary disappointed when I saw this BAD START to my movie experience

small theaters with small screens the seats are completely destroyed in a horrible state of disrepair. the theater is in horrible condition. they charge an extra dollar to get a plastic lid for a large popcorn if you dont buy their combo.

From the moment we entered the lobby the friendly helpful staff made it clear we would enjoy ourselves last night. The production did not disappoint. This was my 3rd time there and I think the company has only gotten better! I noticed that some reviewers didn't give them a 5 star review. I can't imagine why. I've already promised my Nieces that I will take them to see upcoming performances. The price is right for a family night out Can't wait to see the budding Stars of tomorrow! Loved the Hyenas lol

Local by Design opened in May 2016 and I am so sad that they were not listed on Yelp prior to Annapolis' busy summer tourist season (soon to be followed by the busy Navy-football-games-and-boat-show-weekends season). This store is delightful and if I was an impulse shopper I would have gone broke today and filled my car with serene water colors, fun jewelry, transitional upholstery furniture, upcycled art work, practical pottery and pop art posters. Local by Design features the artwork of other 50 local artists that use all sorts of mediums. The art here ranges from super subtle, traditional and classic to zany, wild and fun. I enjoyed all of it! Even if you aren't shopping for something on your walls, there is plenty of other great stuff here for the home, for yourself and for gifts. Also, this store offers a little snapshot into the cultural icons of Annapolis and the surrounding area - USNA, sailing, steamed crabs alongside National Bohemian beer, oysters, blue herons, anchors, etc.

I interviewed for a job there once, and I imagine someday trying to read their required curriculum, specified down to the preferred translation. Passing through Annapolis, I took a break from the drive. I stopped into the Mitchell Art Museum. Every college should have a museum. This is at the center of campus, more or less. They had a special exhibit. Three students or staff or students doubling as staff were seated in the gallery. They welcomed me. I looked around. I was done quickly. To put it into perspective, I spent more time in the bookstore browsing than I did here. That said, I wish to reiterate my enthusiasm for the college, my support for art museums, and my pleasure to have visited. I am just setting expectations. This is a brief digression, not a destination to spend a day. I hope St. John's continues to do well. In our era, we need more reading, writing, critical thinking, independent thought, and communities of scholars.
