today was my first visit. I have so much anxiety over seeing a dentist, to the point where I was in tears(and on the verge of an anxiety attack all day) when I arrived. The lovely woman who took me into the room(I am terrible with names).was so gentle and caring and made sure I was comfortable. I have never had a dentist allow me to take a break with the bite wing x-rays. and try to do his job to get the best x-rays, but also make sure I was comfortable. By the end of my first visit today, I was overwhelmed, but my anxiety had gone down quite a bit. Dr Livshin, I am actually looking forward to getting my dental health back on track! read more

Went here with a Groupon as I was looking for a new dentist (ours retired after going to him for 30+ years) for both my husband and myself. I figured I'd try them out first, and if all went well, my husband could go (he's a bit of a baby about the dentist). I was happy, initially, with the visit. The dentist and hygienist both seemed nice and knowledgeable. Since then I have tried to book another visit and have encountered ridiculous roadblocks. As another reviewer noted, the "front desk" staff is inept and borderline rude. - I would add obtuse to that. Also, even at my first visit, they were very aggressive about payment plans and insurance, which I found odd...even without insurance, I have a credit card and can more than afford to pay whatever the bill is. Still, I made a 2nd appointment for a cleaning and exam (after using the Groupon) and because my husband recently switched jobs, I made it clear to them that I didn't have the information on our new dental insurance yet. I told the woman who booked my appointment that if I couldn't get the info in time for the visit, I'd happily pay out of pocket for the cleaning and exam. I explained that with this new job, my husband travels a lot and it's like "pulling teeth" - pun intended - to get him to track down this kind of info and I didn't want that to delay the appointment. They listened and said it wasn't a problem at all, and that they would call to remind me about the dental insurance information in hopes that I'd get it to them before the visit. Appointment set, plan to proceed firmly in place. And yes, they did call - a couple of times in fact - (I know because caller ID comes up "Landmark Dental") but I was either on another call or in a meeting when they called. Given they said they'd call to remind me about the insurance info, I knew that's what they were looking for. Rather than just bring the info with me, I figured I'd called them back and give them the information now that I finally had it - even though let's be honest, they don't NEED it as I'd already said I'd pay out of pocket if I couldn't get the info in time. So two days before my appointment they call and I call them back to give them the information to find out....they had given my appointment AWAY to someone else! Now, remember, this is NOT my first time going there - I "get" that with Groupons they need to worry about no-shows, but I had already been to see them (and used the Groupon) and this was to be my second visit where I would be paying full price! The woman I spoke with said it was "office policy" that if I didn't re-confirm my appointment, they give it away. WHAT?! Evidently I"m supposed to be a mind reader, since they don't TELL YOU THIS when you book an appointment! Honestly, this is a ridiculous extra hoop that no other medical professional I visit has in place. Sure, most will call or text to remind you, but nobody CANCELS your appointment if you don't pick up the phone when they call! Come to find out that it's a $$ thing..she didn't bother to read the notes, which confirmed that I'd be self-pay if I didn't have my dental insurance information. Yeah, they said they sent me an email to confirm, which she said I was "required" to respond to. Given this isn't 1992, nobody actually READS emails because of all the literally hundreds of garbage sales emails that clutter inboxes today - which is why my trusty spam filter nabbed it so I never saw the email. Gosh, even my nail salon sends text messages for confirmations, which you can simply text back a reply. But really, if that technology is beyond them, all it would have taken is for someone to tell me, AT THE TIME THE APPOINTMENT WAS MADE, that I'd be required to re-confirm my appointment AGAIN after booking it at least 3 days before the appointment, or it would be given away, and I could have easily called them to do just that. But no, instead this passive-aggressive crap. Yeah. I'm done. I took time off from work for this appointment and expected it to be honored. Both hubby and I have since found another dentist (Dr. Nui at Crown Dental Group - AMAZING!!). As busy professionals, we both have enough on our plates without adding having to deal with unreasonable demands from a dentist office. A shame, really, as the dentist himself seemed quite nice - but as we all know, the staff in a doctor/dentist office can make or break the experience. It was simply easier to find another dentist than deal with their ineptitude. read more

Dr. Livshin and all the staff at Landmark Dental are simply the best. They are kind and compassionate especially with folks that are very anxious to be at the dentist (like myself). Thanks to the sedation options, I have been able to receive my care with less worry and my anxiety goes down each time I go! They are changing my life, and many others lives, in a beautiful way and I am eternally grateful for this team of people! I had to have a tooth extracted and some dental reconstruction done. I was a-scared! Especially because it was one of my front teeth! Dr. Livshin was recommended as a specialist by my regular dentist and I was quite impressed with his professionalism and the way he calmed me down. He answered all my questions and was more than happy to explain the procedure several times - he was even super nice when I got a bit teary-eyed. I never thought about Yelping a dentist, but as dentists go, I'd Yelp him. Oh, I guess I just did. read more

Dr. Livshin is amazing. I'm one of those people who are afraid of the dentist, I don't want to go, and I haven't gone in a really, really long time. I had a painful tooth, so I sucked it up and called. He was able to see me within a couple hours. I did all my paperwork before I got to the office, and my insurance had been sorted and verified when I arrived, so I was able to go straight back and be seen. I was really, really nervous, and Dr. Livshin and his assistant (I'm so sorry, I've forgotten her name!) were incredibly kind, understanding, and nonjudgmental about the whole no dentist for a decade thing. He had my x-rays done within 10 minutes of me walking in the door, and was reviewing them with me and discussing a treatment plan. It was fantastic. He was able to treat me immediately, and he was so kind. I really can't express how much that meant to me, because I truly am very anxious about dental work in general, and Dr. Livshin gets that and is very, very good at working with that. His prices seemed pretty reasonable too. My insurance covers most of it, but his office manager brought me the price sheet with my treatment plan, and it's definitely reasonably priced. I highly recommend Landmark Dental, and doubly so if you're anxious about dentistry. Edit: I had a complication today, a Sunday, that was entirely my fault. Dr. Livshin took care of it for me within an hour, on a Sunday. That's definitely amazing. read more

I bought the Groupon deal for this clinic and I was really, really happy with the experience. The last time I used a Groupon deal for a dental clinic it was the worst dental experience of my adult life, so I was a little apprehensive about this time. But it was such a great experience that even without a Groupon deal and lacking insurance, I would absolutely go back. I was greeted immediately by the hygienist and she was really thorough and kind. The entire clinic had a serene, non-clinical feel, which was unexpected, more spa-like than dentist office. Everything seemed clean and tidy. I was seen on time. Also, the office manager was really nice and attentive. The dentist is so kind and warm. He answered the few questions I had and was thorough but quick. They even have Spotify in each room and you can decide which music you want to listen to - nice touch! I had an easy appt. - just a basic cleaning and bite wings, but it was still nice to get such good treatment. I made an appt. for next time and since I'll have to pay out-of-pocket, the office mngr. explained the cost of everything and it was really reasonable, esp. for someone without insurance, which I really appreciated. I was in-and-out in under forty minutes. Parking is easy... I can't say enough good about this office! read more

1. I would like to make it clear that I did not visit the office, so I am not commenting on the dentist's skills/care. 2. This comment is about the front-desk staff. I was very excited about their Groupon deal. So I called to schedule an appointment, telling them that I was using the Groupon. It was pretty difficult to make an appointment because I got one for two weeks later, and her attitude was not so pleasant. Then, she said she would email me a registration package soon. But I did not receive it until three days before the appointment. So I completed it and sent it back immediately. Later, she did not remind me about the appointment again. I had a very bad day before the appointment, so unfortunately I forgot about it. When I called to reschedule, I apologized several times, and her attitude was still not so pleasant. She said, "You cannot reschedule until you pay us the $50 cancellation fee. It says that on the website. I don't know where, but you can go find it." You don't know where?! Because you never told me/possibly anyone about it?! $50 was even more expensive than the Groupon deal I paid for! So I said, "When there is a cancellation policy, my dentists and doctors always call me to remind me the day before the appointment." She said, "Well, we do it two days before." No, she did not do that either. So I found another dentist. They told me about their cancellation policy the first time I called. Then, they called me to remind me two days before the appointment and two hours before the appointment. Maybe being more responsible and courteous like the other dentist's staff would not have turned away your customer. read more

They are always so nice and efficient (literally everyone that works there), and explain everything that they are doing to the point where I know more about how my teeth work. I went as a college student and still go there. I always am in a good mood after leaving and they just go out of their way to be helpful. They are just very good at what they do and it's impressive. So I had terrible toothache this past weekend. The pain was so bad I could barely function. I sent Dr L an email Sunday to see if I could make an appointment for Monday. About 30 minutes later my phone rings and it's Dr L. He asked me to tell him what was going on and that he would fit me in on Monday. Dr L truly cares about his patients. I was so pleased that he called me back,, and on a Sunday!. I got the tooth pulled today and I'm telling you it was pain free. He is an amazing Dentist , nice guy and I will be a patient for life.. outstanding job! And by the way if I could give more than five stars I would... Thanks for reading... Mike read more

Dr. Livshin intentionally cracked the root of my tooth and installed the post on the top of the crack during the root canal procedure. He was asking me several times to extract the tooth that he suppose to fix. My tooth is now in much worse shape then prior to Dr. Livhsin root canal procedure. Dr. Livshin is very dishonest. I wouldn't trust him and don't recommend him. read more

A friendly clean office and a honest doctor. I had been to one of the chain dental places (Aspen)which had attempted to tell me there was 2600 worth of work needing to be done. I went to Landmark for a second, real opinion and there is only a cavity needing work. The doctor also referred me to a oral surgeon for what is hopefully only a calcium deposit on the jawline that the chain store didn't even notice. They squeezed in both myself and my wife for cleaning and exams on short notice. A very competent and pleasant Doctor. read more

New technology, courteous staff, in and out within an hour for x-rays, exam, and cleaning, pretty painless cleaning was a plus

I came to Dr. Livshin with the cavity in my tooth and he convinced me that I need a root canal, which he completed. I was really surprised that he didn't send me to orthodontist. When I ask him he said I can do it better. In two weeks I noticed that the crown that he installed in the post become higher then normal. After visiting him again, he told me that I have a crack in my tooth and he need to pull the tooth with the root canal and install the implant. He made this decision without even making the xray. I found out the only way he could made this decision if he purposely made the crack and install the post on the top. I am now in much worse condition then prior to this "dentist" intervention. I have a pain in my jaw because the site with the tooth he operated is higher then the other site. I have to spend a lot of money for extracting the tooth and installing the implant due to Dr. Livshin incompetency. I would never recommend this doctor to anybody. read more
