Horrible experience. As a Realtor, I find that an Escrow Company works hard to accommodate the buyers, sellers, agents, lenders and title company. After having to cancel an escrow, Kim refused to wire the deposit to either the buyers' bank or the new escrow company. She wouldn't respond to phone calls from the lender nor emails. When time is of the essence and the situation is most important, I find it heinous that an escrow company requires funds wired but refuses to wire themselves. I will not use this escrow company again nor would I recommend them. read more

This is my first experience with Landmark Escrow and Michael Kendrick. My experience was not good with them at all. As an escrow/finance company myself, there was no courtesy for a professional discount on the escrow fee as well as several material errors my settlement statement. The errors were corrected except for the professional escrow fee discount which the owners would not do. I have been in business for over 45 years and never have I had this experience. The owners were never kind enough to ever e-mail me directly and only went thru Michael. This will be my first and LAST escrow with this company. read more

Landmark Escrow was chosen by our seller and their agent to be our escrow company for our home purchase. They completed everything in a timely manner and they made sure we closed on schedule, which, at the end of the day, is what matters. One less star because their customer service leaves something to be desired. While they are friendly and nice, they tend to never pick up phones/not return phone calls, which was sometimes stressful. We also didn't like the fact that they have one phone line available to the public and that goes straight to reception, who then needs to transfer you to the person you are trying to reach. It would have been quicker and more efficient if you could actually call the person directly. Regardless, because they did complete everything in time and because they did stay on top of things despite their somewhat scatty communication, I can say that we are overall satisfied and would use again if needed. read more

While there are some escrow companies that are okay and some are adequate Landmark Escrow truly deserves at least a Five Star review. I have used their services for many years and have never experienced the level of service and customer service they provide not only for my client, but for all parties involved. They work as if they are on 24/7 which is something that typically escrow teams do not do. From a Loan Officers point of view, Michael and his team should be high on the list if you are looking to surround yourself with service and result oriented people. When an escrow officer comes in and opens it's door on a weekend to sign a buyer to help close a purchase loan, it's a great sign that you have a committed escrow officer on your team.
