This has been my go to theater my whole life. I have see. Every culturally or artistically significant movie release, I've seen here. The staff keeps a very clean theater and treat you with respect. For me, this theater is home.

I came to the movie theater to see "IF" as part of my Indy Flims buff Meetup group. It was a Monday evening and the theater was dead, so it was very nice to have the whole theater to ourselves. The staff were very professional and helpful when pointing us to the theater where our movie was showing. The AMC theater had a very nice ambiance which it always does, and the selection of refreshments was very nice. This must be a new movie theater because I had never heard of it before I came to see the movie. It is conveniently located next to Target in the Landmark Glendale Shopping center off of Keystone Ave. I was especially impressed with how clean the theater was and the bathrooms were clean and looked professional as well. In the past, I have been in movie theaters that were nasty and very dirty, so it was very refreshing to see a clean movie theater. All in all, this is a wonderful movie theater and the staff are friendly and professional, so I would highly recommend coming here for the movies. You will definitely get your money's worth!

This theater is no our usual go to but after shopping at target we decided to catch an early movie. They offer a special before 6pm all tickets are 8 dollars. This theater is a no frills theater that's for sure. I remember coming here as a kid and I don't believe it's ever been updated. It needs a refresh terribly. Concessions is serving the basics due to Covid a lot of items aren't available. One thing that was frustrating is they aren't offering refills. Not on large drinks which is so bizarre to me. I know for longer movies it's easy to fly through a large drink and I don't think spending another six dollars is fair. The seats were terrible. We didn't see one seat that wasn't visibly stained. I tried to not think about it because you just never know but we were grossed out for sure. The seats are so worn down and uncomfortable. Hence the need for them to desperately update. I would just avoid this one and go to a nicer theater in the area.

I enjoy coming to this theater. It's not far from my house, the staff is always nice. I went to go see the little mermaid, and there was an Aaliyah because it was in the afternoon, which was good in the lobby, seem like it was clean and then when we got into the theater, it was clean. We didn't get anything from the concession because we had just ate prior but it seems like they had a good selection of snacks. I've been to this theater quite a bit and I have no complaints except for their bathrooms can use a little TLC.

Dirty!!!! Gross, dirty!!! I did not even want to sit in the seats and we thought about just asking for a refund and leaving but we stayed and stuck to the floor. The employees were super nice and friendly.

This theatre is very average, it was nothing special but I saw a new movie for an affordable price, so no complaints there. The seats are the older version, meaning they don't recline and you can't reserve ahead of time. If it's a new movie at a popular time, I'd recommend coming early to make sure you can get a desirable seat. All of the theaters are tiny, again compared to the newer spots in town. That being said, it was clean and fairly comfortable. We went to a Saturday 2:30 showing, where adult tickets are discounted to $7 each for an early weekend deal. Free refills are available on large bags of popcorn. A large popcorn and drink costed $14 which seems comparable to the way movie snacks are priced. I would come back solely based on convenience and weekend value, but I was not impressed

I went to Broad Ripple High School in the early 2000s when Glendale Mall was still an enclosed mall. Besides some very minor cosmetic tweaks, this theater is still pretty much frozen in time. Because of that, ticket prices are quite a bit lower than several, more modern theaters on the north-side. No leather/recliner seats here. If a theater is full, you're packed in like sardines but that isn't likely. There is bicycle parking, but it is a very sad bicycle rack that isn't bolted to the ground and could easily be moved. To their credit, the concession stand has expanded a bit beyond your standard nachos, popcorn, candy and soda. There are some type of ready-made donuts and coffee as well. While the theater is dated, the price reflects it. $6.50 before 6pm I believe is pretty much a steal nowadays. Come here for the non-3d/IMAX flicks and you'll be quite pleased. Or take your kids or nephews here to tell them what the movie-theater experience was like 15 years ago.

Convenient location to my apartment and it's fairly empty but the seats are gross. Most of the seats seem to have something on them. I don't want to be distracted from watching a movie worrying about what I'm sitting on, disgusting. Luckily it was empty so we made sure to find 2 clean seats next to each other. The seating situation was a huge turnoff and I doubt I'll go back. They really need to renovate the theatre.

This is one of two landmark locations in Indianapolis which I love, since this theater chain tends to show films that tend not to get a ton of screen time. Glendale 12 is over by the target and Macy's. Very clean location, you never have to wait very long in a line to get into see a movie. I'd call this place traditional, stadium seats, smaller screens it's very quiet compared to others, but that's not a bad thing! I keep coming back just for a change of pace and they have different movie screening times, I will say this if you have movie pass, the card doesn't work so it's all done via e-ticketing. I went a saw Sicario and essentially had the place to myself which was great. Comfy seats, good food and drink options you can't go wrong! Another plus of this theater is that it has those uncommon movies but then they also show the big block buster hits so it's the best of both worlds!

They actually had crafts as we waited for the movie to start!

The reason I give it 4/5 stars is because during weekends with increased crowds many theaters go uncleaned between showings which is not fair for the next person. My family and I caught a movie at AMC Castleton Square 14 in Indianapolis and walked out having had a perfectly acceptable time, which in the current theatrical landscape is not nothing. Let me start with the part that actually keeps me coming back to AMC properties in general: the Stubs Premier membership and investor connect perks are genuinely good. Free upgrades, discounts, priority lines, the kind of benefits that make you feel like the Republic is finally working in your favor for once. If you are an AMC investor or Stubs Premier member, this alone is reason enough to show up. I would watch movies here purely on the strength of those incentives, and I say that as someone who has experienced the reclining leather seats and full food service of Living Room Theater just across town. Now for the honest part of the review. The facilities are fine. Not bad, not remarkable, just a functional multiplex doing multiplex things. Do not walk in expecting the full food menu experience of a Flixbrewhouse or the day date elegance of Living Room Theater. This is standard AMC, which means popcorn, candy, and a soda the size of a small fuel drum. Manage expectations accordingly and you won't be disappointed. Worth knowing before you go: there are armed security guards on site, and no weapons signage is posted clearly at the entrances. Leave the blasters at home. Due to past incidents in the area, AMC Castleton has also put strict policies in place regarding minors. Anyone under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian 21 or older for R-rated films, and starting at 6 PM anyone under 18 must have adult supervision to enter or remain in the theater at all. If you're bringing the young Padawans, plan accordingly and make sure your designated adult is actually 21 plus and not just claiming to be. Three stars. Solid enough for what it is, especially if the perks are working in your favor.

We are not always sophisticated people, but we are excellent at pretending. We started at the bar, which looks the part completely. Elegant, well stocked, the kind of bar that makes you feel like you should be wearing something nicer than what you showed up in. I ordered an old fashioned, at which point the gentleman behind the bar admitted, with full transparency, that he was not actually the bartender and would need to Google how to make it. I genuinely appreciated the honesty. In a galaxy full of people who would have just guessed and handed me something terrible, this man chose truth. I thanked him, switched my order to whiskey and coke, and we moved on as allies. From there we headed to concessions and ordered the Take it to the Greek wrap, the La Bamba pizza, and fries with little bits of steak on top. The food was good. Not life altering, not the kind of meal that makes you grab someone's arm and say nothing, just nodding, but genuinely solid movie theater food that arrived at our seats without us having to do anything except recline and wait. The seats reclined. There were actual tables. This is civilized. We watched Disclosure Day, which if you have any interest in extraterrestrial or UFO subject matter is absolutely worth your time. Sitting in a reclining leather seat watching a film about potential contact with beings from other worlds felt appropriately cinematic, even if the leather on most seats has seen better days. Chipping and worn in spots, which is the one visible crack in an otherwise well maintained experience. The theater itself was clean, the concept is fantastic, and the overall vibe delivered exactly what a day date calls for. Four stars. The bar needs an actual bartender on deck and the seats could use some attention, but Living Room Theater is still one of the better ways to spend an afternoon in Indianapolis.

We went on a Sunday and found street parking pretty easily, but then realized the theater validates parking for up to 3 hours. Such a nice perk -- wish I knew before circling around lol. We bought our tickets online ahead of time, and when we got there I ordered the garlic cheesy bread and a drink at the counter. Total was around $15. The seats were really comfy and spacious, which made the whole experience feel worth it. The food came out pretty fast. The garlic cheesy bread was probably like a 5/10 for me... not terrible, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Overall though, really nice theater and I'd definitely come back for another movie night.

My family has been dying to see Wicked, but since just about every showing of Wicked at Emagine was completely sold out for this entire weekend, we had to try Regal Indianapolis instead. Let me just say, I regret not waiting for the crowds to die down at Emagine, even if it meant I couldn't see the movie this weekend. My negative experience started before I even entered the theater. The theater's parking lot was packed, so I had to park in the very back of the lot. It was extremely challenging for me to park correctly because the paint lines had completely worn off and I couldn't determine where the actual parking spaces were supposed to be. Not only is that inconvenient, it's dangerous! When we walked into the movie theater, we joined the huge, seemingly unmoving line for the concession stand. Although there were several employees present in the lobby, only one was serving customers at the concession stand, while everyone else just stood around. We waited in line for no less than 20 minutes before being served. In fact, since waiting in that line made us late for our showtime, I left and found our seats in the theater while my mom and sister waited even more. The concessions themselves left much to be desired. They were out of several candies, the popcorn was cold and slightly stale, and they only had Pepsi products (those who regularly read my reviews know that I am a Coke purist). Also, a 'small' popcorn was half the size as a 'small' popcorn at Emagine, but it cost almost the same amount! I understand that movie concessions are usually pricy, but the lackluster quality of the concessions at Regal made the outrageous price unjustifiable. Finally, what I found the most frustrating about Regal Indianapolis was that no employee checked our tickets or directed us to the correct viewing room. We easily could've walked into any movie without paying, which made me very upset considering I spent almost $50 on 3 matinee tickets. Regal Indianapolis was extremely disappointing, and I when I see Wicked Part 2 next year, you can bet I'll be going to Emagine.
