I went downstairs (we were at Valley Medical Hospital) to get Ronnie since he wanted to come to visit Gavin, and so since we saw food trucks, we figured we should grab lunch. + Classic Chicken Sandwich for Gavin + Chicken Tenders and Fries for Ronnie + Nashville Hot Chicken for me (opted for spice level 5) Food did not take long at all. They accept cards. You don't have to tolerate/like spicy foods to enjoy a meal here. The chicken was not greasy and was crispy and juicy as well. Fortunately, a little after we devoured our meals (Gavin barely finished half of his), we were given the discharge approval since he was able to hop/use the walker and use the wheelchair. Different food trucks line up the drop-off area, convenient for staff and visitors to fuel up. It's never fun to be at the hospital. The hospital displays the QR code so you can see which trucks will be there, so you can plan ahead.

The husband and I came here for lunch on a weekend. Parking wasn't too bad, but because it is located in downtown area, expect some challenges. There was a line out the door when we arrived, but it moved at a quick pace. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side with limited seating indoor and out. The husband and I ordered the Grilled Cheese Nashville Hot and Chicken Tenders. The Grilled Cheese was tasty with a nice balance of heat and tanginess from their slaw. The Chicken Tenders were appetizing, but it wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped for. It does come with sauce on the side, which helped. Staff were nice and service was efficient despite the growing line. Although a bit pricey, I think their chicken is good and worth trying out if you're in the area.

This place has been on my list for a while now…read more I called for a to-go order on 4/12/26 and got the Kao Gai Sap and fried chicken skins. When I came by, there wasn't really any other patrons there so picking up my food was easy. Inside was very decorative too, it has that mom-and-pop vibe to it. Kao Gai Sap (5/5) - The chicken was soft and juicy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. It came with a chili dipping sauce, and I opted for white rice instead of chicken rice. This has to be by far the BEST chicken I've ever had. The chicken was seasoned to perfection. Cucumber was crisp and refreshing, although I do wish there were a few more slices. Would definitely order this again. Also, this Kao Gai Sap also came with a small portion of soup which was also equally as good! When you order this, make sure to ask for it LAAB STYLE! Crispy chicken skin (5/5) - I mean it's fried chicken skin, but I'm pretty sure they used the same salt/pepper seasoning on this as they did with the Kao Gai Sap, which gave it a nice flavor profile as opposed to being plain. The lemon-pepper dipping sauce was the perfect pairing with the chicken skin. The lemon flavor was there as well as the pepper, but both were very mild and didn't overpower each other. That dipping sauce made a HUGE difference. ALSO GET THIS LAAB STYLE! Will definitely be coming back because I'm hooked now. No one does chicken like Tuk Tuk!

I highly recommend Kickin Flavors if you enjoy chicken feet. It can be a little pricey, but I do…read morethink it's worth it because they take on the labor of deboning each chicken foot so that the eating experience is way easier for you. I also shared this with my family and they really enjoyed it as well. Ordering is easy and you can also order ahead, but if you are indecisive or if it's your first-time I'd highly recommend you come in person so you can sample the different flavors so you can choose the flavor that best suits your palette. I got the Thai Style and the Garlic chicken feet and the garlic was by far my favorite (and also was the fave for my family members as well). I also did a combo, which came with a drink and to my glee I was able to sample the drinks first as well. Can't wait to come back and treat myself to some more boneless chicken feet!

The flavor is AMAZING!!!…read more I've known about this place for the longest time, but it's pretty far from where I live, so I never thought it was worth traveling all the way here just for boneless chicken feet. Today, I was shopping nearby and realized this place had been sitting on my saved list forever, so I finally decided to give it a try. First impression: the service was fantastic! I couldn't decide between the garlic and lemon flavors, so the owner gave me samples of both. I really appreciated that! I ended up liking the lemon flavor more, so that's what I took home. I also love that they specialize in boneless chicken feet. It's one of my favorite dishes back in Vietnam, but I absolutely hate dealing with the bones, so this place solved that problem perfectly (and this is the only place in the Bay that has boneless chicken feet) Their boneless chicken feet are only $13.99 per box. They're fresh, flavorful, and have the perfect crunchy texture. I also got the combo with a lemonade. The chicken feet were incredible, but the lemonade was a little bitter, I think it could be improved. And also, if you follow them on Instagram, you get a free small lemonade, which is a nice bonus! Besides chicken feet, they also serve duck neck, duck tongue, etc. I wasn't in the mood to try them today, but I'll definitely be back next time. Overall, this is a great spot for affordable Chinese snacks. The boneless chicken feet absolutely lived up to the hype, and I'll definitely be coming back!

Chicken Meets Rice has become one of my favorites spots in the Bay Area for Hainan Chicken Rice…read more It's so easy to place an order online and pick up, especially when I need a quick and delicious meal. Everything packed securely in a brown paper bag. The portions are great and the chicken, rice, and veggies provide a balanced meal. A bowl of chicken broth is also included. Of course, you can't forget about the sauces when eating Hainan Chicken Rice. I ordered the 50/50 plate with both poached and grilled chicken. The poached chicken was soft and paired really well with the ginger-scallion sauce. The grilled chicken, however, was quite dry. I also found the chicken rice less fragrant than what I'm used to and a little dry as well, although the soup was good. The portion also felt smaller than expected for the price. Overall, there were both pros and cons, but it's still worth trying. I'd likely come back for the convenience when I'm craving chicken and rice but don't want to travel too far.
