    Teriyaki Chicken
    Irene L.

Had them at a catering event and they were so so delicious!!!! Food came out quick but was steaming hot. Korean BBQ food trucks are so rare and this one was a hit. The owner is also an absolute gem who actually cares if you like her food. I got the teriyaki chicken but would try their spicy next time. She said the teriyaki sauce is all homemade with natural ingredients and I can actually tell by the taste. Would highly recommend!!!

Visited this food truck while attending the Mosaic Festival at History Park in SJ. They were serving a limited menu of Korean bbq rice plates, bulgogi nachos, and Thai iced tea, this Sunday afternoon. I ordered the bulgogi teriyaki rice dish, and it took just 1-2 minutes to be ready, with friendly and efficient service. I was able to enjoy the delicious tender beef while picnicking in the grass at the event. Nothing too special about the food here, but I had a positive experience.

Really enjoyed their teriyaki chicken dish. Also added Thai Iced tea recently. They also give lots of meat and rice so you won't be hungry.

The beef bulgogi and spicy pork bulgogi were both ok. The beef bulgogi seems to have a lot more moisture than I'm used to so the texture was a bit too mushy for me. It has the standard sweet bulgogi taste but can use more saltiness. A bit pricey at $17. The spicy pork bulgogi has a bit firmer texture, spicy as expected. I preferred the pork bulgogi over the beef. The staff was very nice.

Love how this food truck is so close to home! Tried to order through the app but the address was showing incorrectly so I called to verify. Owner was so nice and accommodating and took my order over the phone. I ordered 2 beef bulgogi burritos and 1 chicken teriyaki plate (rice and salad) and she asked when I'd like to pick it up. It was ready to go 20 minutes later. I pulled up and she greeted me by name! Told her I was going to post in Yelp and asked her to lose. LOL Delicious!

*Food truck review* 2nd meal at one of the Earthquake's game, but my boyfriend and I shared a previous meal from another food truck only because we like trying different places. We shared the Korean BBQ Rice Plate with Spicy Bulgogi Beef and for the price, this place gives a big portion! Everything had so much flavor too! 10/10 for food

Their bulgogi wasn't the best but wasn't the worst. The portion looked small in the container however it was actually a decent portion as I couldn't finish it all. Wish they did some sprouts or something more akin to Korean food because the side of salad was basic for the price of the plate.

Gave these guys a shot at the San Jose Earthquakes game last night and it was just average. I'm pretty sure it was a condensed menu and they were just pumping out these rice plates (boxes) as fast as possible. I went with the BBQ Chicken Teriyaki Rice Plate. Don't get me wrong, you get a large amount of food but it is $13. They stuffed so much food into the box that it wouldn't even close, so no complaints there! This also comes with a small "salad" in the box but that was barely even a salad. The chicken was average with flavors that didn't really pop. The rice was somewhat soggy by the time I got to my seat. Overall, nothing great but not horrible. For $13 I would probably try a different truck next time.

An unforgettable barbecue sandwich experience? You'll find both here at South Winchester BBQ. I was in the mood for a good barbecue sandwich and found myself at South Winchester BBQ. The sun shone high, the breezes blew gently, and it was busy with lunch goers that day. I ordered the tri-tip sandwich with a side of coleslaw and got myself a glass of water. Then I went outside to the patio where families and friends ate their lunches while their dogs looked on. The patio was sheltered from the street and provided a quiet place for community to gather over good food and drink. It would be a wonderful spot to enjoy my meal. My name was called, and I went to get my sandwich. The first bite was excellent! Juicy meat slices accented with the robust, savory, light sweet notes of smoked California oak wood. Fresh buns buttered and lightly toasted on the flats. Brought together as a well-done sandwich, every bite was savory meat and spiced rub, sweet barbecue sauce, and light crunch of toasted bread. The coleslaw was finely chopped cabbage tossed in a creamy, mildly sweet dressing, with a dusting of cracked black peppercorn on top. A welcome refreshing side to my tri-tip sandwich, the coleslaw cleansed the palate and balanced out my rich meal. The tri-tip sandwich and coleslaw sure paired up to pack a delicious punch. South Winchester BBQ was a definite win in my books. Next time I want a good barbecue sandwich, I'll come back for more. I know I'll be in for a delightful time!

The location that we went to is located next to Maggiano's Little Italy in Santana Row on Olin Ave. There is a free 2 hour parking structure across of the restaurant where my boyfriend and I parked at. We came during their Lunch Specials (until 4pm) and Happy Hour (from 3-5:30pm) which worked perfectly as we wanted something smaller in portion compared to the dinner portions. We started off with drinks. I got their Pig Ol' Bitties Blonde Ale, and my boyfriend got their Friday Beer & Shot special of This Little Piggy Went to [Mark]et with a 16 oz Dirty Little Pig IPA and a shot of Benchmark whiskey. My fault for having him get a whiskey shot on an empty stomach, though HAHA. He did like how smooth the whiskey was at least! We shared a 2-meat BBQ Lunch Combo Plate, and honestly, we should have gotten 3 meats because of how tender and delicious everything was! We got their Tri Tip and Sliced Brisket with their Garlic Mash and server recommended Sweet Potato Tots. Ahhh, everything was so good! Aside from the tender, flavorful meats, the two sides, especially the garlic mash, were sooooo good. We both loved everything! It was definitely a great choice coming during lunch as we were quite full after ordering one of their happy hour shareables of Chips & Queso (kind of pricey even for happy hour in my opinion for chips and cheese). Honestly wished we got their Chili Cheese Fries or their other fries which were the same price than just chips and dip LOL. But it was a good hold over food with us drinking a bit (at least for me). Shoutout to the only server who was working on a late Friday afternoon as she was doing her best to accommodate everyone + trying to clean up the previous tables. It was kind of sad seeing that the other workers didn't help bus the tables in my opinion. Overall, a great place to watch sports and have some good whiskey as this restaurant is known for their whiskey selections! The lunch BBQ exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely come back for another lunch special meal but probably with 3 meats this time!

At many restaurants, that would be a problem. At Henry's, it becomes a reason to test the rest of the grill. We ordered the Porterhouse and the Sirloin, both medium rare. The Porterhouse was solid: balanced seasoning, clean grill flavor, no unnecessary tricks. A lot of restaurants can do a good Porterhouse because the cut already has drama -- bone, fat, tenderness, presentation. But Sirloin is different. Sirloin exposes the kitchen. Especially that strip of fat running along the edge. If the grill work is careless, that fat becomes chewy, greasy, or wasted. Henry's handled it beautifully. The meat stayed true medium rare, while the fat edge was properly rendered, lightly charred, and full of beef aroma. That is real steakhouse skill. Medium rare lean meat plus properly rendered sirloin fat is not automatic. It takes timing, fire control, and experience. The baked potato was simple and correct. The salad was classic old-school steakhouse style. Dark beer still feels like the right companion here. Henry's is not trying to become trendy. It is not chasing presentation. People come here to eat steak, drink beer, and trust the kitchen. Prime Rib is still the ritual. But this visit proved something important: Henry's is not only a Prime Rib place.
