It's been almost a month and Jimmy continues to ignore his responsibility on a car he fixed the alternator and it caught fire the next day. He told me he would provide us with a loaner and that did not happen. He did not bother to go check out the vehicle like he said you would. Now he said he would provide my son with the Hyundai velostar and we have been waiting but get no response. He was the last one to touch the car and mess with the battery and alternator. The very next day , not even 50 miles driven after his work and the vehicle catches on fire right where the battery and alternator are... we got a second opinion and it seems he crossed a wire or left something lose that arched and created a spark starting the fire. Before this there had never been issues with the electrical. He is liable for this incident and all we were asking, was that he keep to his promises. We came to Jimmyz garage as trusting customers and I understand mistakes happen but this is what companies carry insurance policies for. I was asking him to please take accountability and correct his mistake by keeping to his promise. read more

This company operates within its own legal realm and if you the customer do not check what you are buying (aka RV / Intoxalock) you will be held responsible. On paper, this company looks like they did their job but in reality failed you as the customer. 1. If renting an RV Triple check everything/ take pictures and videos: (ie) Are the outlets functioning, Does the shower work, Are there any possible leaks or open seals that might allow water in, Can we operate the radio. Make sure you hold this business accountable. If you don't I promise your wallet will regret it later. Customer #1- Stated that they had to cut their trip short all due to the RV rented by Langes Auto repair was leaking in a rainstorm. This customer then explained that they had to take the RV in to fix the problem. While asking for compensation for a poorly examined RV. Lange's go-to excuse is that it's not their problem hahaha! Don't succumb to that bullshit excuse. Langes is absolutely responsible for selling you the customer a shitty product (RV) Customer #2 complained about outlets not working and asking for some compensations. ONCE AGAIN, Langes tells this customer that there is nothing they can do!! 2. If dealing with Intoxalock - JUST SAVE THE HEADACHE. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR MONEY!!!! Double-check if your vehicle was installed CORRECTLY. Otherwise, you might get penalized/prosecuted by the court for this company's malpractice. Do not unplug your own device from your vehicle. Even if Lange's asks you to, simply tell them "it's not your job". If you do unplug your own device, THEY ARE HAVING YOU BREAK THE LAW. Remember you are here because you broke a law and this companies laziness HAS YOU BREAK THE LAW shows how they operate illegally. read more

Had a unique challenge - how to install a Safari Snorkel designed for a Toyota Land Cruiser on my Chevy Avalanche that sees double-duty as both my daily driver and expedition offroading rig. I took my challenge to numerous off-road "full fabrication" shops - and none of them wanted to tackle that challenge. My dad knows Larry and told me I should take it to him as he does seriously high quality work and builds hot rods. So, I approached Larry and he accepted the challenge without reservation. The install was not easy and required a lot of fabrication. The end result is really top notch and completely functional (sealed airbox and snorkel). I couldn't be happier and the price was more than fiar for the level of effort ultimately involved. I cannot say enough good things about Lange's Auto Repair. I have a 2012 PRIUS that I recently bought and damaged the rear passenger side rocker panel. Every estimate I received started at 800 dollars to replace panel and was told, "There probably more damage underneath!". It easily was a minimum a 1000 dollars and my deductible was just that. On the advise and referral of Tom at Ultra Dent, I went to see Larry at Lange's and got an honest estimate that would repair and repaint the original panel instead of replacing it for 375.00 Larry did find damage underneath and his very capable help repaired it at no charge. I was in an accident and had larrys shop do my repairs on my vehicle Let me start it this way My vehicle got there to larry's shop the 1st week of november i didn't get it back until the last week of February even when i did get it back it had so many problems from the air tire sensors to everything falling off of the truck i had to get an attorney to help me it was the most stressful thing i've done.
