Fellow bowling nerds, our time has come. Lang's is a breath of fresh air from the average bowling alley. It's hip, retro looking while still being a solid places the hit the lanes. While the area it's located in is a bit sketchy the atmosphere inside of the alley is energetic and fun. There's a great bar in the back that has cheap pitchers of domestic, a fun weekend laser bowling setup, and reasonable prices overall. Fun way to get out at night without dealing with the typical bar/club scene. Will definitely be back in be future. read more

This place used to be amazing and a great place to frequent. But after my last visit I'm not confident that I'll return. During my last outing here with a few friends on a Sunday night, I experienced some of the worst service. The bartender was in a fray and prioritized his friends over the other patrons. The concession stand was awful and completely forgot my pretzel that I had to ask for TWICE. A freaking pretzel. Never again, I hope management sees this and either retrains their employees or find those able to handle the responsibilities. read more

Not an enjoyable experience at all. Bartenders condescending attitude towards us was unbearable. She was a total witch the whole time. We ordered food and it took 45min when there was nobody else eating anywhere. Bowling was fine. Service terrible. read more

Bowling alley's tend to be dirty, unimpressive and dingy but Lang's Bowlarama is completely different! The décor is trendy and extremely well done. The facility is very clean, even the bathroom was spotless. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The pizza was a good size, great price and delicious. They have tons of drink choices and solid beer selection. Also, their lounge area is fabulous and a cool hang out place. I went to Lang's on a Thursday night, which is Atomic Night and Ladies Night. At 9:30 they turned off the lights and had a DJ playing music. It was so much fun, I would highly recommend it. Overall, Lang's Bowlarama is a great place! read more

I recently held a party in The Nelson Center and I can not say enough good things about Lang's and the Nelson. From the beginning stages of the planning to the very end, every step was easy and very well explained. Dayna was wonderful with answering all of my questions and concerns! All of our guests raved about the food and the party room (The Nelson) and best of all everyone had a blast bowling! Out of around 33 guests we had 27 that bowled and Lang's did an awesome job of grouping us all together on lanes. They even made sure to have a lane with bumpers for the young ones in our group. They also went above and beyond (in my opinion) and let us bowl an extra half hour so that we could all finish our games. I would absolutely host another event here and would (will) recommend it to everyone. Thank you to Dayna, Karissa, and Lang's for making our party such a great success! read more

I go to Lang's Bowlarama all of the time, and so I figured its about time I write a review. I do not do these often, so brace yourselves. My boyfriend introduced me to this place a while ago, and I loved it. I ended up going 2-3 times a week for a while. The front desk staff knew my name, and even the DJ would joke around. There is a very friendly atmosphere all around, something you don't get at places like AMF and so on. I love the food, I usually get chicken tenders and fries (and ask them to dip the tenders in buffalo sauce) and it always tastes good. I have never had any issues with anything, bathrooms are clean and the music makes you want to dance. I think all in all, this is a wonderful place, I take my nieces there all of the time to bowl. There is college student discounts on Tuesday, and Ladies night on Thursday. I recommend it to anyone who likes to bowl, drink, or just listen to music and have a good time. P.S. if you are going to go on a Tuesday or Friday, make sure you call ahead and reserve the lanes, there are tons of bowling leagues that take over. read more

Awesome place to bowl a game or two. I love the atmosphere and for the most part, service is good. We did have an issue with getting a server the last time I was there and had to go to the bar to get a drink (they don't let you open a tab at the bar if you are bowling). Other then that, I have enjoyed my experience with bowling at Lang's. They have a really good beer selection for a bowling alley. I feel like it is definitely the best bowling alley in RI and I would go here over going to a place closer to me. read more

We had our wedding reception here on 08/27. The staff at Lang's was amazing in making sure it went off without a hitch. Every staff member working was so helpful and accommodating for us as the bride and groom and each and every guest. Everyone raved about them. We can't wait to go back just to bowl soon as well. Great lanes, great value per hour. REALLY loud and BAD "DJ" music starting at 8:00 pm Thursday through Monday. Blacklights on the lanes after 9:00 pm Thursday through Monday. If you want to talk & socialaize with friends, family, or a date. Don't come after 8:00 pm Th-M. I had to yell to talk to the person next to me. Again, it's a good facility.. 40 lanes really well maintained. If you like a super loud blacklight party while you bowl have a blast. Otherwise steer clear Thursday through Monday nights after 8:00. By 10:00 I couldn't wait to get out of there. read more

Langs is an awesome place - great bar, prices and nice staff....especially after 10PM. That is when the lights go down, and the DJ begins blasting some of the most colorful and expressive tunes one could ever hope to expect from a family oriented business. II was thrilled and pleased enough by the constant stream of songs that featured an F-bomb with every other word. (and so imaginitive! ) After shouting out my approval to both the staff and the DJ - I was even more pleased when he ( the DJ ) managed to expand his musical vocabulary to include some choice references to d***ks being s****ked, and some b****tches being slapped! ( Yeah - way to go bowling alley DJ, put those lady patrons in their place! ) Anyhow, a wonderful time was had by all. Love it here! Our work had a special event and we had the private room all to ourselves- it was so cute! There was a full bar, lounge area with tables and food. The bowling area is clean with a bunch of lames. At night they have 'rock n' bowl' with a live Local DJ. Ladies night is $5 after 9 all you can bowl! I'm probably not the best person to review this place since I don't have much to compare it to. I will say that it was very clean. Tons of fun, especially for the Atomic bowling with black light and DJ. The entire atmosphere is just good old fashioned silly fun, especially with the retro decor. We spent a good few hours with pitchers of beer, silly music, and tons of laughs. We even won mozzarella sticks on the wheel! This is seriously everything bowling is supposed to be. During the day it's great family fun, cheerful retro fun for everyone. At night with the lights, the bar and band, its the kind of dance party that we all wish we could plan. read more

It would be nice if the "manager" actually managed! This place is so unorganized! Bartender's drinking and socializing instead of waiting on me!!! Also saw numerous bowlers acting like animals on the lanes! Just because your on a league doesn't mean you can throw a ball halfway down the lane ! Thought the Lang brothers would step up and find a real manger! He's rude,ignorant and totally unaware of what is going on. You can try to cover up the incompetence with cosmetics!!! But you can't cover the atmosphere, CHANGE IT find a new manger that knows how to run leagues, treat customers with respect, and manage staff!!!!
