Random find while in KC for a soccer tournament. SO good. Ordered one of the rice dishes as well as the Panang curry. The Thai tea is amazing and very cheap for how good it is...their crab Rangoon are unique and airy and light. My sister in law loved them more than I did. The best thing about this place is their shrimp. Amazing quality and flavor, try ANYTHING that includes shrimp My brother and his gf were so impressed they went back the next weekend! Everyone left happy. I gave them only four stars because my pad Thai wasn't as good as my brothers dish. Great little Thai place tucked into our neck of the woods. This was our first time eating here and we will be back. Between us all, we ordered Papaya salad, Paad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Tom Yum Noodle Soup and Mango Sticky Rice. All of it was great! We got the Laos version of the papaya salad and it really hit the spot. The Tom Yum wasn't very spicy but with the extra sauce tray my husband got it hot enough to suit his taste. read more

Two stars is "coud have been better". My items could have been better. The crab rangoon is EIGHT BUCKS!! It's a little worse than the typical 100% cream cheese. It's a little bit sweet, which is a little ick, IMO. I've made thousands of these in my restaurant days and it's heartbreaking to know how cheap it would be for ONE restaurant to bring up it's Crab Rangoon game and be the only one in town who presents and edible version. Anyway, this was a on star item, it was sweet and their profit was WAY too high $8 is stealing from people, The Fish in Basil sauce was OK. The basic flavors were pretty good. THe care taken with the dish was off. The cut up baby bok choy left parts of the stem that were tough, there were to many limp canned veg (bamboo shoots) too much celery (the mulch of the asian restaurant kitchen) and the sauce was watery. It's called crispy fish because the fish has a light batter. I know it's going to soften in the sauce but if the sauce isn't appropriately thickened, it soaks the fried ingredient and throws off the texture of the entire dish. it was 21 bucks, it should have been much more carefully prepared. The Pad See Ew was a ripoff. Any dish "with Beef" ought to have at least 3-4 ounces of beef in it. HONESTLY, this dish had 3-4 SLICES of beef in the entire dish. THe flavors and ingredients of this dish were acutally pretty good but for $16, skimping on the beef like that was criminal. read more

We have eaten here several times and have been pleased with the food and service. Friendly staff and delicious food. We love the veggie spring rolls (order EVERY time) and have had both the shrimp and vegetarian versions. We have ordered duck, shrimp, pork and tofu versions of several entrees- all very good. In full disclosure my wife is from Thailand and I have been to Thailand many times. I have also eaten at Thai Restaurants all over the world. I am so impressed with this restaurant, I have eaten many dishes, Laab Moo, Tom Yum Gai, Pad Thai, Gang Kio Wan (Thai Curry), and Sum Tum (Papaya Salad). The Papaya Salad is especially amazing but to be fair every dish I have had has been amazing. The staff and owner are wonderful and kind and everything you expect from people from the land of 70 million smiles. This is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant in the Kansas Area and likely all of the Midwest. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed. read more

The food here is pretty rad. I was aware that this place had been there for a bit and the reviews looked pretty consistent and good so I gave it a shot. I've been here three times so far, and each time I've been more and more impressed with the food. Had the pad Thai and Tom Kha today and both were spectacular. I've tried a few of their curries and those are also great. Just a perfect balance of flavors in every dish, they obviously have a master Thai chef in residence. It's a very pleasant dining room, though we have only gotten take out there. Very unassuming hole in the wall basically, but all of those five star reviews are there for a reason. First & last time trying Lanna Thai. I had the green curry and it was good, not a ton of flavor but good enough. I also got the Spring Rolls with chicken but they had NO chicken in them and the picture showed 6 and when I got my to go order it only had 3. It was ridiculously overpriced for the portions I received. $25 for 3 rolls and green curry. NO thank you! I won't be back! Go and enjoy but expect to overpay! read more

Was very excited to try out this new restaurant. I had the Khao Soi and was pleasantly surprised that it came with a whole drumstick. The drumstick was cooked absolutely perfectly, not dried out at all. The curry was nicely flavored and came with all of the expected accoutrements. I really liked the bite of these particular egg noodles, which really elevated the dish to something special. I love Khao Soi, it's one of my favorite dishes and I am pleased to have a place nearby to grab a bowl whenever I'd like. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was better than the average Thai's restaurant. No greasy smell at all. Cleanliness including the bathroom was 5 stars spotless, which could be due to few customers. The whole Sunday lunch time we were there, there were only my family and a couple pickup orders. I wonder why. Food and presentation were among those better Thai's food restaurants. I took of one star because of the surprised bill. All items were charged higher (20-25%) than what shown on the menu. I understand food prices have increased but I should have been informed of the new prices ahead of time. This was during March 2022. So check with your server if the prices shown are current before ordering. With the prices they charged, I would come back for special occasions only, not even a weekly sort of thing with my coworkers or family. read more
