Spicy Wonton in Chili Sauce (DELISH)

Been wanting to come here for some time, and it did not let down. The Beef Soup was so good. The broth had a great depth of flavor with a little sweetness. The Wonton Soup was excellent. The pork and shrimp Wontons are gas. Cute little place, and the service was great. It was very reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back.

Wow! Jumbo noodles bar has been on my list for ages and I finally had time to go try it out. Definitely deserves the hype. My friend and I tried their hot pot dishes and left with happy hearts and full stomachs. I tried the Spicy Korean Pot, which had so many different proteins in it and packed with flavor. It's labeled as spicy but I found it tolerable. My friend had the Japanese Miso pot and she also really enjoyed hers. Service was so kind and attentive! I would definitely go back to try some other dishes, but you cannot go wrong with the hot pots.

We were sat immediately. This is a small restaurant. And has some cool decorations. Food is pretty good. The menu is a wide range of asian foods. Japanese, chinese korean mix. We ordered takoyaki for appetisers. Pretty good. But small piece of octopus in each only. Coming from a takoyaki lover of course there could be more octopus. The sauce is a tad bit sweet as well. Next we shared a szechuan hot pot. We are used to spicier versions and would have liked that more. Only vegetables are the cabbage. There is a lot of meat, some fish cake, different types of tofu. The porous tofu, tofu skin and smooth pieces of tofu. It was just a little too salty for my liking. Then we ordered dessert Taiyaki with red bean filling and vanilla ice cream. I could taste bit more grease on the pancake. Overall, decent.

Jumbo Noodle Bar is an adorable spot for ramen and hotpot lovers! The interior is cozy and super cute, the service was fast and friendly -- a great first impression. We started with: takoyaki, ika salad, and wontons. The ika salad was especially delicious. For the main course, we had hotpot with vermicelli noodles. The broth was rich and comforting, and the portion size was generous -- definitely filling and perfect for a cozy meal. For drinks we ordered a Thai tea that came with whipped cream, which I personally love! Highly recommend if you're in the mood for something warm, tasty, and served in a cute atmosphere!

I have been wanting to try Jumbo Noodles Bar for a while and I was recently in the area so I decided to stop by. I ordered online and headed to pick it up. My order was ready when I got there and it was accurate. We started with edamame. And I don't know why but this is some of the best edamame I've had in a minute. It was perfectly salty but not overpowering. Definitely recommend them! We also ordered the gyoza. It's filled with pork and cabbage and was pan fried. They were good and what I would expect. We also tried the egg rolls and crab Rangoon. I really liked the egg roll. It was an actual egg roll, not a spring roll. I liked the pork filling. And the hot mustard is hot! Like wasabi hot. But so good with it. The crab Rangoon were also good. They weren't skimpy with the filling. All appetizers were good and I'd eat any of them again and recommend any of them. Ramen-I went with the Spicy Miso Tonkotsu Ramen: Wheat egg noodle, ground pork, soft boiled egg, bean sprouts, & scallions. It was simple and tasty. Definitely spicy. I was sweating. But not overpowering. I'd order it again and recommend it. My boyfriend went with the Spicy Tonkostu Ramen: Wheat egg noodle, chashu, soft boiled egg, bean sprouts, chili paste & scallions. He also added mushrooms. I tried the broth and found it spicier than mine but it was also good. Overall, really good ramen. They are pretty simple but they are also pretty budget friendly. Most places charge $16+ and the ramen here was only $12-14. You can add additional ingredients for an extra charge if you want more to it. But I honestly don't think it even needs additional stuff. It was great the way it was. I recommend it and I'll stop by again!

Jumbo Noodle Bar is great! I've been a few times now. I recently tried the Wonton Noodle Soup with udon for the first time and that may be my new favorite! The noodles are made in house. The server recommended the udon over the ramen noodles for this dish and that was a great choice. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated and it has cozy vibes. It's always clean and well maintained when I've visited. One big reason for the five star review for me is the service at Jumbo Noodle Bar. I've had great service every visit. I will continue to be a customer and definitely recommend giving Jumbo Noodle Bar a visit!

Such a great place! The food is so good and homey! My favorite hotpot flavor is the Japanese sukiyaki flavor. It is savory and a bit sweet at the same time. The ingredients such as the cabbage, mushrooms, and meat are all went fresh! The service is also very prompt and friendly. There's also a small sauce bar which is awesome to make our own sauce. Definitely would recommend this place! It's definitely our go to for hotpot!

This place has been saved on my list for a while and I finally got to check it out. My friend was in the mood for Ramen and I was in the mood for hot pot so this was the perfect place to get both. The ambience and the inside was really cute, I was in all with that alone. They have a lot of different options when it comes to noodle dishes, so I definitely wanna go back and try something else next time. I was happy with the Japanese sukiyaki. I decided to swap out the pork for beef. I also got rice noodles trying to watch what I eat but still get a good taste lol

Came here due to being in the area during lunch time and Asian food being one of my favorite cuisines. I tried the Spicy Szechuan hot Pot, sub the fish for shrimp. 10/10 it was really delicious and flavorful. It literally came in a cooking pot, never seen anything like it before. You can definitely share this with someone, it was enough food for 2-3 people. They have a table where you can get extra sauces and confidence to go with your food. My server did a great job explaining the menu to me. Their Thai tea was to die for! If you like really spicy food you'll have to add spice to this, it wasn't spicy enough for me. I still give it a 10/10 due to the flavor, the quality of the veggies, meat and seafood. They put whipped cream on top so if that's not your thing, tell them to not add it. It literally came in a cooking pot, you definitely can share this with someone. I highly recommend giving this place a try! I'll definitely will be back to try the other hot pots they have to offer. Only issue I had was I still was charged for the shrimp that I subbed out for the fish in the hot pot, I feel it should've been an even exchange.

I decided to go here for lunch because they not only serve ramen but also one person hot pot and other rice/noodles dishes. We had a big party and ordered almost everything in the menu. However, we were all disappointed at the taste and quality of the food here. Not gonna come back.

This was a really neat experience. I don't think any other place in KC has options like jumbo noodles bar where they bring out this specific hot plate for you, with an active burner underneath to keep your dish hot the entire time. I got the Szechuan hot pot, and it tasted pretty good! Pretty authentic overall, and had lots of different things in the broth itself. There's a separate station for you to make your own sauce, which is similar to how traditional hot pot places are set up. They have lots of other things on the menu as well, including ramen, and other hot pot versions (girlfriend got seafood hot pot, which was also nicely done). Since KC is somewhat limited in hot pot options, this is definitely a good option if you're craving hot pot in my opinion, although it's not like Kpot where you have your own selection of meats/vegetables to cook in your own broth yourself. Service was prompt and attentive, and there's plenty of seating in the restaurant as well. Would be a good option for a casual date night!

Finally checked out Jumbo Noodles Bar and the boys and I loved it. They're big ramen guys and they had nothing but good things to say. Broth was good and lots of protein. Their apps were great, especially the karaage (fried chicken) and gyoza. I tried hot pot and wow! There's a lot of food and a cool experience. Definitely check them out! And Rikki the server was great!

Jumbo Noodles Bar is my favorite noodle spot in Overland Park. They have the best Ramen and hot pot dishes! I love that the place is always lively, and they offer free condiments. I enjoy mixing garlic, soy sauce, chili oil, cilantro, and green onions to eat with the Ramen and hot pot. During my last visit, I had the Szechuan hot pot, and my husband had the classic Ramen with karaage chicken. There was a short wait since we went early evening, but we were seated as soon as the wait time went down. The servers were polite and even adjusted the ingredients in my hot pot, which made it even better. I highly recommend this place if you're in Overland Park!
