During one visit, I walked in to find Activities Director Molly giving residents manicures. On another visit to the Cottage, I watched Patrick from the activities team prepare residents for lunch by personally going to each resident with a warm washcloth to gently wash their hands before the meal. I thought that was such a compassionate gesture. I've also noticed his attentiveness to each resident's unique behaviors and mannerisms, always meeting them with patience, dignity, and genuine care. The clinical leadership is equally impressive. Director of Nursing Afua and Cottage Manager Stacy provide such personal, attentive care that it is genuinely touching to witness. We went to get some things from his place and saw the room had been totally rearranged, including bad attempts at cleaning up the puddles of blood from his fall.
