Specifically Sam and his crew were incredible - be sure to ask for them as your moving team! They were efficient, swift and hard-working. More important, they treated our belongings with care and were kind and personable to boot! Unfortunately we can't move in on the same day, so Anton's offered an overnight storage for $100, which was very reasonable, because we didn't have to pay for additional loading and unloading time in the storage. I've used Anton's Moving on my local move and I was not impressed. Wish I could leave a better rating, but the lack of English on the move day was very irritating and two of the crew members barely spoke any. Full time movers would have been much more appreciated rather then foreign part time students. I did like those kids and they worked hard, but you would want to see professional full time movers when you pay over a grand to have your furniture moved professionally. We had to move dozens of boxes twice because the movers did not understand the instructions given to them. Anton's will not be our choice next time. read more

After seeing the lavishly praising reviews of Anton's I gave them a call to get a moving estimate and the customer service was terrible. Sales representative Tony was very rude and unprofessional. I had a feeling that he was almost annoyed talking to me. Long story short Anton's sent me a quote and it was much higher than many other quotes I've gotten. Rude, unprofessional, expensive. I would also like to mention that this location is fabricated and does not exist in reality. They try to expand their web presence in a dishonest way. We moved from a small condo in Jamaica Plain to a large one and we could not have been happier!!! The team arrived in the morning, packaged up everything in the house (brought boxes and all packing materials necessary) and loaded the truck, drove to the new place and unloaded everything efficiently and gently by the afternoon.
