As much as I would love to support local business,  people need to be aware that this dry cleaner is not a great place to do business with . I dropped off my sons suit jacket and pants that I just purchased two days prior to dropping off on the 21st of October.  They said they would have it ready the following Monday. When I came back to pick it up a couple weeks later , the lady brought me the jackets dry cleaned , but said they couldn't dry clean the pants because there was a hole in it. I carefully inspected the pants prior to dropping them off as I almost thought about just cleaning them myself using my washer . But since it was brand new and only worn once, I opted to dry clean them professionally.  Never in a million years did I ever think of taking pictures of the pants prior to dropping them off. Now they claim that the pants was dropped off damaged and even claim to have a pic of it damaged,  which is a huge lie because they showed me a pic from the 24th , 3 days after dropping off. I explained to them that damage could've happened during the transport process but the manager/owner, Bert was just busy trying to defend their innocence  In fact,  he said , " why are you blaming my business? Why don't you blame your teenage son who caused rhe damage? And why didn't you inspect the garment with the lady when you dropped off? " Mr Bert,  not all teenagers are devils like you think. And i honestly never had a dry cleaner rip my clothes. My teenage son wears this suit to his piano recital, not to main event event or the bowling alley. And if he would've ripped his pants while wearing it , at that position, he would've end up with a pretty bad cut . This looks like your bag zipper ripped the garment during transport. Lesson learned,  take pictures of your expensive outfits because you might end up with damaged garments and they'll tell you it's your fault for not verifying before dropping off. read more

I DO NOT recommend anyone use these cleaners.!!! This was the worst experience ever!! I have never experienced such disrespect, blame, and denial from a business in my life. I purchased the outfit on my birthday, November 4th, 2023. I wore it that evening. I took it to the cleaners on Nov. 6th to be cleaned. I did not gwtvit back until December 09, 2023. The owner is rude and screaming at me over the phone. She even hung up the phone on me one time. And she threatened to scream at me again when I was asking questions about the return date of my clothes that her people destroyed. She tried to blame for the rust and brown stains that was on the outfit. These stains or the rush color were not there when I brought the items in. Then she cleans it for a third time, and the rihenstones that were Shiney are now cloudy and white. The rust is color was still there, the stitching was coming loose, and some stones were missing. And the son who took my item in day one and saw that my items were in good condition never told his mother that I was right. He said, " we don't do magic. We dont know if it is going to come out right". I said you should tell your customer that before taking their clothes so they can decide it they want to go somewhere else. He just stood there looking stupid. Keep in mind that this is multiple times, having to go back to something wrong with the items. The owner kept saying I will fix it, however, being rude and yelling at me over the phone. That is another thing she was always over the phone being a phone gangster. But when. I finally saw her in person she didn't have anything to say. I should not have had to go back multiple times and be blamed for something I did not do. They have no account accountability. She was trying to bully me into taking the garment as is until I called the police on her and had them come to the establishment. It looks like she went and purchased a new outfit because the 4th time I went to retrieve it, it looked brand new. Horrible customer service and business overall!! read more

Warning DO NOT USE Lapels Cleaners located at 17503 Preserve Walk Lane to dry clean your clothing! When I was a busy working professional working in I.T. and wearing business attire 5 days a week I longed to find a cleaners that would pick up my clothes do any excellent job with starching and pressing (I wore nothing but linen pieces) and delivery my clothes back to my house. One day while looking for a parking spot (I was going to get my nails done) 3 doors down I spotted one. Lapels Cleaners. I had a few minutes so I stopped in got all the information I needed and signed up for all of the above services. We were a happy couple for about 18 months. My linen was always nicely starched and pressed however there were times when delivery times were missed by several days, sometimes a week or a pick up was forgotten. Lapel's services aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination. Due to a medical condition I was forced to retire from a profession that I loved. Which meant I no longer needed to wear business attire 5 days a week and therefore no longer needed Lapels Cleaners in the same capacity. However 6 months later I decided to do a spring clean up of my closets. I personally took 19 pieces up to Lapels Cleaners which consisted of linen suits and linen separates This is what I discovered when I finally got my clothing back more than a week later than promised. The elastic in the waist of 5 pairs of slacks were totally destroyed completely stretched out, 1 suit they didn't bother to press, and a $310 bill. I called the owner immediately and was told she wasn't in so I left my number along with my name and the reason for my call. When I hadn't received a call the by the beginning of the following week I went up Lapels and was informed that the owner was out of town and would be back the following week. Now I'm beginning to get in my feelings because I'm out $310 and I'm beginning to feel like you're avoiding me. So I went back up to Lapels the following Monday and it got ugly! Guys this was an easy fix. I wasn't asking for a refund I was asking for this business owner to right a wrong. Just replace the elastic in my slacks and press my suit. Easy Pease right? Nope! She had the audacity to raise her voice at me, told me to shut up. She was very disrespectful. She even said that the items were already like that when I brought them to the cleaners, keep in mind she has an attendant that checks each piece in when you bring in your clothing and tag them. We went at it for a good 15 mins. Outside of suing her this is another way that I can ensure that this business owner doesn't continue to take advantage of our patronage or take our business for granted. read more
