My eye exam was rushed because of a mix up and when I offered to reschedule and come back another day I was reassured they would be able to accommodate my son and myself. They were unable to complete my eye exam and they wanted me to return at which point I would have to pay a second time. It didn't sound right to me and I told them that. I never went back but they still gave me a prescription. A prescription that was incorrect. I went to a new eye doctor and I was informed of this. I've been driving around for over a year with imperfect vision. On top of that the person behind the desk is rude and has no customer service skills at all. read more

My wife had been going to this optometrist for 6 years until recently. While this most recent event has nothing to do with the doctors it reflects on the office nevertheless. My wife had an appointment on a Saturday morning, this usually means an appointment made way in advance. My wife and I have three children and something unforeseen came up and my wife called an hour before her appointment to see if she could reschedule her appointment. Well this was the kiss of death because the secretary laded into my wife sending her on a guilt trip. In six years prior my wife never cancelled or rescheduled. In my opinion this person would have been fired on the spot for what she did. I have a wellness practice in Mamaroneck and clients reschedule all the time, we do our best to accommodate. I understand things happen, however the real issue here was the secretaries attitude and lack of professional manners. The doctor apologized to my wife which was nice, however that person needs to go if this practice wants this star to grow. Until then its a one. read more

Due to a prior bad experience, I have had a fear of the eye doctor for about 15 years and constantly avoided going, which made my life difficult considering I needed a prescription for contacts. I spoke with Dr. Posole about my issue and she was incredibly empathetic in walking me through my exam step by step. She even got me to do the air pressure glaucoma test, without issue. Her office is clean, her receptionist/office manager was polite and along with her nice bedside manner, the doctor seemed very knowledgeable and professional. I recommend her if you're looking for an vision care professional and HIGHLY recommend her if you or a family member happen to have some phobias around vision care. read more

I have been going here for the past 21 years. Love this office. Each of the Dr.'s are nice. Their assistant is the best & is the constant part in the office. I even drive from manhattan now to go to this office much to my boyfriends confusion :) but once you have a good thing you don't change it! I don't know about the past reviewers experience but I've never had that kind of experience even when I'm late on a Saturday & I've never observed anything even remotely outside of friendly or professional so it's hard to believe this negative interaction was one sided..... read more
