The food was fresh, flavorful, and hit all the right notes with that authentic Mexican taste you don't always find. Portions were huge, so we had plenty left over, and the prices felt more than fair. The staff was super friendly, got the order ready fast, and the place has that classic, no frills neighborhood feel I like. I'm not even from Flint but I'll definitely be stopping back every time I'm in the area. Solid spot, highly recommend if you're craving good Mexican. Will be a repeat customer for sure!

Had to wait for it to be opened. Food was supposed to be a steak "burrito" and a chicken quesadilla. Picture attached is chicken quesadilla untouched (how it came) and the steak "burrito" came with lose pieces of steak, raw pepper, lots of orange orange cheese and no onions. Nothing else on the hard and cold flour tortillas. Chicken quesadilla cheese so orange and synthetic looking, didn't even try it. Disappointed and will not be back. No where even close to eutheti

My sister & I tried this place craving tacos similar to back home. Their sauce was not what i…read moreexpected, it was squash. It lacked the flavor I was looking for and as for the torta it had a bit too much mayo for our liking. Quesabirria tacos were decent, just lacking flavor. Overall it wasn't horrible, just not authentic and I wouldn't try it again unless the recipe was tweaked. Service was great, everyone was nice. The interior seemed clean and well organized (:

The menu appears to be small, but that's one of its strengths. By keeping the menu small, they focus on what they do well while being a little creative with other menu items. They do well in not replicating what other Mexican restaurants in the area are doing but also having some of the staples in typical Mexican cuisine. I tried the birria taco and the queso birria... and I enjoyed their take on it. Instead of corn tortillas, they used flour and they used a different type of cheese that I wasn't used to. However, the meat itself was absolutely delicious. I also had one of their tortas with Al pastor. It's a little different than what I'm used to, but it comes close because the sauce they use to marinate it was savory while not being too spicy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they didn't take too long with my order. Overall, I had a m enjoyable experience at Sabor and I looked forward to see them grow.

The ground beef taco could have used a tad more seasoning for my liking but everything was fresh and tasty. The person who took my order was super friendly and the food was hot and ready when they said. I would definitely go back. PS. They no longer offer beef stew as a side it comes in a burrito. That made me sad.

The parking lot is behind the building and so is the entrance. Once inside, I had to walk all the way to the front to reach the counter and place a to go order. I was greeted and told she'd help me in a min. Soon she was back, she answered a few of my questions and then I ordered. I decided to go with the large beef taco salad and a can of coke. I had a seat while I waited about 5-7 minutes for the order to come out. Everything was bagged and ready to go, including plastic ware, napkins, and sauces. I only checked the written menu on the wall, but the prices seemed reasonable, the portion size was respectable, and the food looked and smelled good. It made me think that the next time I'm here, perhaps I should order ac taco salad for myself. My impression of the ambiance is very much hole-in- wall, family owned restaurant. It seems like the sort of place that only cares about giving you good food and doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles.

Food was decently priced and tasty. I got the fish tacos, battered, and omg, it's probably the best fish tacos I've had by far. Huge pieces, size of my hand and came in 3 tacos for a great price! I can't normally eat a lot at a time but I definitely devoured all 3 tacos! Very lightweight and lightly but fully battered! Some of the freshest fish to have too!

I was not happy to learn that refills on chips and salsa cost $3.50 when every other Mexican restaurant I've ever gone to offers them for free. Also the chips are clearly out of the bag. Very hard and flavorless but the salsa was great with a little bit of heat. My chimichanga was bigger than I expected and too cheesy. The meat had lots of seasoning now I got the ground beef. The beans and the rice were good the beans had good flavors as well. I has been got the ground beef tacos with fried flour and those were excellent. The mountain dew was more fizz than syrup you could see right through it. The service was good. The place was very clean and very quiet we went at lunch time on a Monday. The menus are clean and they seem to be recently updated with lots to choose from. They also have standard American fair like hamburgers and such. Overall I would go back I just would order differently. Please do something about your chips! As good as your fried flour shells were it's a huge disappointment.
