Ok. I will post follow ups but if you care about your kid do not send them here. Rat infestation, mismanagement, staff is overwhelmed and not able to get basic things done like: fix door handles, fix leaky ceilings, fix broken items when we first moved in, month long delays on our bathroom roof caving in due to negligence. Doors do not lock properly @ entrance entire time I've been here. Gate is constantly open. Yet they are now charging for guest parking. Someone I dated parked their car here and it got broken into. Please this is not a rant, just do not move here. Every time I walk in to the apartment I see at least 6 rats near the always too full trash heap/dump (which has been out of use for 2 weeks). To be frank you'd be better off living in your car than staying at Lark Athens. This was my first experience with student apartments and living at Lark Athens. Signing this lease was the biggest mistake I EVER made. Let's start with move in day. After receiving multiple messages from the property that they were preparing the apartment for us. You can imagine my surprise and my mom's when we opened door to an absolutely filthy apartment. There was hair everywhere, a cabinet door hanging on by a thread. stains and food everywhere on the cabinets inside the cabinets. The carpet was dark in several spots. Paint splatter on bathroom floor, the tub floor was rusting, and plus a special surprise left in the toilet. Next, my experience with the maintenance in the building. I pulled my rug back one day, and behold a soaked carpet. I was originally told my washing machine was leaking (it was not) a pipe was flooding in my utility closet. After having to ask for a fan to dry the floor, they slammed me with a $500 bill for my water and electricity for the time the pipe was leaking and I had the fan running in my apartment. The building itself is filthy , elevator is almost guaranteed to be out. Lights are missing covers in the hallway, handles on door are installed backwards. The maintenance team had no sense of urgency even when my door wouldn't lock from the outside and I had to work the next morning. To top it all off, as I'm viewing my move out inspection, they claim their TV and Remote are missing when maintenance was the one who removed. read more

I high recommend no one lives at lark and Ill explain why. Pros: - Good location - Rooms are big Cons: - When my room was flooded last semester we had to deal with a week of loud fans and maintenance coming in at any time during the day and had to beg to be moved to another room (once we were moved it was 2 bed 1 bath and we still had to pay the same 2 bed 2 bath rate.) - They will spend as much money as needed fixing the gate but once it comes to fixing the flashing lights in the hallways or the numerous bugs and trash there as well it is "We will work on it soon!" - Parking is maliciously unclear on their FAQ, community policy, Leasing agreement, and on the physical signs. Had a couple guests come visit to hang out and they all got towed in the visitor parking when the leasing agreement claims 24 hour parking is valid. (They will also bombard you with 5-10 emails a week and we recieved 1 email which gave us the "rule" that all visitors require a pass which you can *only get while the office is open*) - My dryer has been dysfunctional ever since moving in (requires 2 80 minute cycles to dry 1 batch) and after 7-8 work requests over the course of a year they have still never fixed it. - Packages can only be picked up 10am-6pm M-F (this is quite frustrating as a college student with a part time job since I am busy during these times often) - There is a horrid stench within a 50-100ft radius around the trash which is never fixed/cleaned for more than a day - There is always a rat or 2 which will greet you when you need to throw away your trash and recycle There is many more issues however I believe my point has been made. I also sent an email to lark before posting this if there was any way to fix any of the following, however either promises were not fulfilled (it has been over a month) or they did not wish to help. I would not rent here again. The garage gate is not functional. The trash disposal is right by the entrance to the garage, which is high traffic and poorly designed so dozens of disgusting trash bags pile up on the weekend, every weekend. I've experienced serious safety issues while living here and management has fluctuated between unhelpful and unresponsive. It's way overpriced for what it is, and even if it was cheaper, I feel so unsafe living here I would not renew. read more

Firstly, they hide behind a"Virtual Assistant " that literally will not give you a person without giving him a detailed reason that you are calling... 2nd, The lease ends on July 21st for the entire building... yet they will charge you for the entire month... they said it was buried / written in the 13 pages that you have to sign in the lease.... So that's a third of your last month's rent that they get to keep while they are "turning over the building .... 3rd you are NOT allowed to be at the "final inspection " of the apartment... thank God it was only a 7 month lease ... Don't live here. The management is inaccessible--only via email. They have students who man the front office and they are nice and try to do something but it is limited. Often garbage gets piled up. A door that is supposed to be a secure door is never locked. If you don't renew your lease, don't expect work orders to fulfilled and when they do, sometimes the work is not done well. The caulk around a shower had mildew, they just added more caulk instead of tearing the old out and fixing it properly. When you move out, they don't go through the room. We spent 3 hours cleaning the apartment so it was better than when we moved in, but then they charged us $150 for the shower they didn't fix, and to repair walls. First it was because of some damage their contractor caused. But then we pointed that out, they changed it to what is wear and tear (scuffs, that were cleaned with magic erasers and nail holes, which were spackled). They will change their rationale to fit their claim if you protest. It used to be a decent place, but has quickly become a place that does minimum work to maintain the apartments since Scion took over as owner. read more

After seven years in student housing (undergraduate and graduate), Lark Athens has proven to be the worst experience I've had by far. As many other reviews have noted, there are numerous issues with the premises: large trash piles every weekend that provide a home for large rats (think NYC); common areas and hallways that have not been cleaned for years; parking garage gates that break frequently; furniture so flimsy and cheap that it breaks if looked at the wrong way; etc. Beyond the issues with the premises, Lark Athens' management is truly the worst part of the Lark Athens experience. After move out, they charged my roommate and I with hundreds of dollars in damages. Besides blatantly overcharging for paint, they charged around $300 for scratches on the couch's cushions and arms. I provided images dated to move-in day showing the damage was present at move-in, but to no avail. After several emails and calls, Lark Athens refuses to discuss the damage charges and the student workers refuse to transfer my call to the property manager. Don't bother calling Lark Athens, because now you must speak to an AI assistant "Liam" and hope the algorithm decides your call is worth transferring to an office employee. Of course, Lark Athens knows they can simply ignore good faith claims and strong arm former residents into paying charges by sending outstanding balances to collections. Overall, I would not recommend living at Lark Athens unless you enjoy filth and squalor paired with predatory management practices. Postscript: It's hard to overstate the irony in Lark Athens replying to negative reviews on this website. After a month of trying to have a good faith conversation (phone, email, text) regarding damages charges, Lark Athens has intentionally avoided my communications. Lark Athens is, without a doubt, the most repulsive, corrupt, and predatory apartment complex I've ever encountered. The common areas are nothing short of a health hazard, infested with rats and cockroaches. The parking situation is an absolute joke, with no enforcement, and the gate that's supposed to secure the property? Always left wide open, making a mockery of any pretense of security. But the real horror show begins when you move out. They hit me with over $300 in made-up, outrageous damage charges. Not only did they completely disregard the law (OCGA 33-7-44(b)) by failing to notify me of these damages on time, but they also denied me the legal right to inspect the premises after I contacted them asking for such. Among the laughable charges was a fee for painting my room--painting that was done as part of a previous maintenance request! When I called for clarification, they refused to give me any straight answers, sending me in circles like it's some kind of game. I even had the Better Business Bureau contact them to attempt to get a response, and they still refused to explain. But it's not a game when they send their lawyer to threaten to send you to collections if you don't pay up. This kind of predatory behavior is beyond unethical--it's downright despicable. It doesn't end there. My roommate and I got hit with ridiculous $25 charges for each instance of spot painting (you can buy a "trial" size of any type of paint for $6 at your local Home Depot). They even tried to charge us over $130 for a couch that was already damaged when we moved in. And guess what? They conveniently deleted all our maintenance requests and told us that pictures taken of the couch's condition on move-in day could not be trusted despite the Metadata clearly showing the date. Although something can be admitted as evidence in a court of law, it's not good enough to overcome Lark Athens' standard for their annual charges. After tracking down and discussing with the tenant who lived in our room before us, he was hit with the exact same charges as us after moving out. Did Lark Athens use the money from said damages charges to fix the damages? Nope. Will it do so with ours? Probably not. Will they charge the next person to live in our apartment with the same things? You bet. And before management tries to drop in with their canned, insincere response about how they "take feedback seriously," don't bother. It's all lies. They don't care about their tenants--just about how much they can bleed from you before you wise up and get out. And don't be fooled by the positive reviews you see. Lark Athens bribes their tenants with raffles and prizes to write those glowing reviews. If you value your sanity, your health, and your hard-earned money, stay as far away from Lark Athens as humanly possible. Living here is a nightmare, and you'll regret every single second. read more

Run away, far far away! After only a week into the lease my son and his roommate living at Lark, it's been a disaster! The AC was leaking on day one of move in. Maintenance did come quickly and put in fans and a dehumidifier. They "fixed" the AC and the 5th day later the AC starting leaking again. Already was told by the manager and even maintenance that this wasn't considered an emergency but would be fixed. Well, cannot get anyone to fix it and nobody will respond. Have reached out to the corporate office in Chicago and that will take you down a rabbit hole. Let's see what happens next. Renting in Athens is a disaster but who wants to deal with this while going to class and no AC in August. read more

The maintenance or should I say lack of Maintenace is a joke. The air conditioner unit broke the day after we moved in, they stated it was fixed. Only to have the unit break a day later. They refused to provide any window units a parent called to complain, then we only received 1 unit. The parent company prides itself on having the highest standards and not cutting corners. There are many better options in Athens than the Lark. Sadly, despite a great location, they struggle with upkeep and simple maintenance. Examples: door to 3rd floor garage has been broken now for over a year - supposed to be a keycard lock but just opens, which gives anyone access to the entire complex. Brickwork on her last apartment we found loose to the point of almost falling apart (from the 3rd floor). This year, have a closet door hanging from one hinge, bugs in fridge/freezer, and no working ice maker. Been pending repairs since she moved in August. Latest excuse was maintenance guy was 'about' to hire a new person maybe next week and then he can get caught up. The main garbage compactor has been a horrible mess every time I've been there, with bags of garbage spilling out into the entryway. Hallways with broken fans, lights not working, filthy floors are the norm. Opened my SECOND case with the Scion Group (corporate:https://thesciongroup.com/about/) as no one either from Corporate nor Lark Athens has acknowledged. Paying $1500 for this when there are beautiful newer options in Athens. Students are taken advantage of as I don't think they have the experience to truly stand up for themselves - oftentimes this may be the first time they've lived alone as adults. read more

To anyone considering living at 909, I assure you that there are better places in Athens to live. Pros: Apartment itself isn't bad. Furnished w/ great tv for $30/mth, hot shower, good location, plenty of space (2BR,1BA) Cons: For the past year, management has been absolutely terrible, filled with overcharges, vague fees, and one-sided emails that go months without response. This includes charging my roommate for a damage only in my room, and not responding to requests for a damage receipt after sticking us with a $300 damage charge post-move out. Walls are thin enough that if anyone on your floor has a bass, you'll definitely hear it. Rustiest inside of a toilet I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot. Also, their method of payment is terrible. For utilities, you have to pay a $7 "service fee", so you're paying about 15% more a month than you should be. Edit: 909 is fortunately under new management and did more in 3 days than the previous staff did in 6 months. Ebony was very helpful in clarifying and even editing the charges that turned out to be cleaning charges as opposed to damage, and specified what exactly happened. While I cannot recommend 909 to anyone based on my living experience, I'll provide an extra star in faith that they are improving. read more

Took two months to get someone to check our circulation in our bathroom to get fixed with mold everywhere. Renter beware/sublessor beware: Too many options in Athens to choose this poorly run complex!! If I could give it negative stars, I would! We are STILL dealing with them about a charge for dirty bedroom carpet that was caused by the sublessor, Rahjah Prabhakar (who is approximately refusing to pay for his mess). We have photo proof of what the carpet looked like upon our son's move out and it was clean. Our son submitted his keys and parking access pass when he moved out. So no more access to the unit! Yet somehow he is responsible for the sublessor staining the carpet. We were also not given an option to inspect the apartment when the sublessor moved out and therefore had no opportunity to clean anything that may not have been up to move out standards. However, we are responsible to pay the fee (and I say we bc we are the co-signers on the lease). After weeks of dealing Ebony Wilson, We were told by assistant manager, Zach Lopater, that he agreed we should not have to pay this fee and it is the responsibility of the sublessor. But today we received a collections letter from an attorney! Most poorly run complex and unprofessional management group we have dealt with (three children attended three different universities). read more

After talking to the manager about it multiple times and him assuring me we are gaining ground in getting this cleared, I received a letter in the mail today from their attorney. Absolute bullshit. I will not pay for something I did not do. And you shouldn't either. They will do this to you every step of the way while living there, and even months after you move out. I get that you are paying a premium for the location, but it is not worth it. It is extremely difficult to get any help from the management. I had asthma attacks in the middle of the night because the mold on the bedroom windows when I moved in was so bad. They just denied that there was any mold at all. Also, the office has short and odd hours now (probably because they are understaffed. Employee turnover seems to be a big problem here). So, theres a large delay between when your package gets delivered and when you can actually go retrieve it from the office. I also had to ask 5 times for someone to fix dangerous/broken gym equipment before anything was done. It's just unfortunate because I don't think this has always been the case. read more

Follow up and response to the review I left 6/5/2023. Contrary to the SCION group's claim that the damage to my apartment was caused by a Winter Storm, it was in fact caused by inept contractors well after the storm had passed. My apartment incurred no damage from the storm and was flooded much later through the course of a brilliant and precise renovation job on nearby units. This is the medical malpractice equivalent of a surgeon asserting that some egregious error during the procedure was caused by the original injury. The renovations were never finished. I moved out in late July with a missing bedroom wall. I did take comfort in knowing the renovations would in fact be complete next week just in time for the next tenants. That was one deadline I knew they wouldn't miss. On the other hand, SCION does lock in their leases early so it is not inconceivable that someday, students might start moving into apartments at The Lark with missing walls. read more

terrible management!!! Look for any excuse possible to apply fees. I was charged 45 dollars for blinds that I found on amazon for around 10$. They perform random inspections without notice to apply these charges so you end up paying fees for normal wear and tear damage multiple times throughout the year. Maintenance is terrible! My roommate informed me of a small leak in my bathroom while I was out of town. I promptly reported it to the office and received a notification that maintenance had repaired it. When I returned two weeks later the leak not only had not been fixed, but there was severe flooding in the apartment which resulted in damage to some of my property. They are constantly working on projects without regard for their residents schedule. The majority of the apartment complex is students, but they decided to replace the roof during finals week rather than wait until summer when most of the residents will not be there. The nonstop hammering made studying exceedingly frustrating. Their dumpster is located in the front of the parking deck and is not large enough to service the number of residents they have so it is constantly overflowing into the deck area. read more

I lived here 2018-2019, and there are several issues I have with the apartment complex. 1. "Lost" Packages. Packages go to the leasing office and you get your package after they email you that a package has arrived. ALL PACKAGES go there, including CERTIFIED MAIL (which defeats the purpose of mail meant to verify that YOU received the mail piece) and packages that require SIGNATURE. Packages meant to be received only with your signature go to the office and the office signs for them IN BULK. They do not count the packages or verify that they've actually received the packages they SIGNED FOR. Again, defeats the entire purpose of signed packages. And so, the one and only package that was lost in my one year lease here was the ONLY valuable package that I received. Apple sent a package with a replacement Apple Watch (it was an $800+ value package) and WOW the leasing office "lost" the package! After talking with the office repeatedly for more than 3 months, there was radio silence in any updates about this issue and my requests for reimbursement for the lost fee I was charged from Apple. Apple & FedEx both refused to do anything because it was signed for by an employee of the leasing office. 8 months and counting now, there's nothing being done, despite regular emails to remind the office that I'm still waiting for a resolution. Nice people in the leasing office, but that doesn't excuse much. 2. Unsafe. The "security" gate and garage gate both were completely unused (waltz right in, random people off the street!) for the first 7 months of a 12 month lease. I feel so secure for the remaining less than half of my lease lol... The doors open to a sketchy looking outdoor hallway (if Motel 6 looking hallways are your thing, then that's what you're getting :D) and so security gates are kind of important... 3. Cockroaches. Our apartment had cockroaches. Just. putting that out there. 4. Mold. Our apartment had a giant mold patch within 2 months of moving in. Parent of one roommate said it was black mold, which is supposed to be incredibly dangerous to your health. I will admit that the management responded and cleaned the mold out--of course I'm not entirely sure it's a permanent fix. However, it seems to have worked well. 5. Getting MUCH More Expensive for No Reason. The prices have gone WAY up! They've replaced the old crappy tiling floor with some fake wood flooring, so it looks nice but it's completely uneven. In the process of putting in those floors, they ripped off a closet door and just left it sitting there for about a month, even after we requested maintenance for it. They've installed an over the stove microwave. So I guess with all these "repairs" it's suddenly worth almost $100 a month rent increase??? 6. It's loud. Very loud. But that's expected in a mostly undergrad building near-ish downtown (it's 15 minutes walk up a very steep giant hill, so don't be fooled by all the "it's so close! omg!" talk btw). DON'T. LIVE. 909 Broad has been my favorite place to live! It is conveniently close to downtown and campus, free parking for residents, comfy study rooms with free printing, lovely pool with grills, new gym, spacious rooms with walk-in closets, free pest control if needed, on-call officerr and emergency maintenance, and the staff is so helpful and kind. I only have one more year in this god awful complex thank god! Ok where to even begin? First, the office staff and maintenance here is an absolute joke. The maintenance people are rude and condescending and won't respond to you for months. I had a broken dryer for 6 weeks, bug problems in my unit caused by flooding in other apartments, an issue with my lease agreement which to this day has not been resolved, and the list goes on and on. Trying to get anybody to answer me is like pulling teeth, especially if you are a student or even look remotely young. They will literally look at you like you're stupid and refuse to help in even the smallest way. One of the office people literally said to my face that if I wanted any sort of response from anybody in the building, the guarantor needed to contact them because they ignore all other requests and calls. Also they do these inspections all the time where they give these timelines where they're going to go into your apartment to check it, but they never follow their own schedule. I've had people barge into my apartment after hours and weeks after the initial inspection was supposed to happen. To make matters worse, I was once in the shower and they still came in to complete the inspection in spite of this. It's incredibly hypocritical to me that they make up whatever hours they want regarding office hours, inspections, maintenance, etc., BUT if I'm an hour late signing an email or submitting utilities I'm charged an arm and a leg in fines or rates have magically increased by $300. DO NOT BE FOOLED by them because they'll be all charming and attentive during the signing process, but as soon as you put your name on the contract you will be ignored and left completely on your own. On a side note the parking garage is a DEATH TRAP, mirrors are constantly knocked off the wall or bent so they're not useful and it's got wayyyy too tight of corners to be considered safe. They also have gates to get in and out of the parking deck, into the elevator, and the pool, but the locks and call boxes are broken so often that I don't know why we even bother with them at this point because they LITERALLY NEVER WORK. So comforting that I pay for a "safe, gated community" that is never safe or gated properly. I'll end with this: if negative stars were possible they'd have all the negative stars in the world. read more

I currently live in the 909 Broad Apartments in Athens, and I am literally counting down the days until my lease is up. I will not do business with these people ever again. They bill themselves as a premium apartment complex, but they are far from it. Cutting corners in construction to keep costs down (paper thin walls), allotting an inadequate number of parking spaces (good luck finding one on your floor), and employing a management team that cares more about keeping the apartments full more than keeping the residents happy (the only person that cares if your neighbor's subwoofer was rattling your bed last night is you) are just a few of the things I have noticed after moving in here just a couple of months ago. The only thing premium about these apartments is the price tag. I really regret signing my lease. I wish I could get out of it, but they really lock you in tight. I know Perennial Properties (their parent company) has several other residential properties in the Atlanta area, and based on my experience here, I will be avoiding them at all costs. read more

I have lived here for a year now, and signed for next year too! The office staff are lovely and try to help as much as they can with whatever situation. The location is great, everything is walking distance (which helps when you want to go pick up a quick bite downtown) and the buses stop right beside the building so if you don't have a car, you will have many options. The amenities are a great plus, the gym has equipment starting from treadmills to smith machines. The apartments themselves are great comparatively to the price; every other place that has a great location like this one are either too expensive or the size is too small. The location is wonderful! My daughter can walk to school or jump right on the bus. She can walk to all downtown events without having to deal w/ parking. She can also walk to her friend's apartment that are all located downtown as well without having to worry about getting towed if visitor spots are taken. The only thing missing from the scoring is a negative 20! The worst management team I've ever dealt with. If you have any intention of signing a contract think again. They're unreasonable beyond any business I've ever dealt with. I've put 2 kids through college and have a multiple years of college rental experience and this one by far is the absolute worst. Ok so 909 SUCKS. For being downtown it's not the most expensive but you could find so much better for this price. Like maintenance is crap. My friends had a cockroach problem and it took them forever to get to it. Parking is AWFUL. You don't have a trash shoot so it's awful taking out the trash. I lost my key and when they made a new copy, they locked my front door KNOWING THEY HAVE MY KEY, and almost left it their overnight and left me locked out of my apartment because they close at 6pm. Honestly wish I would've lived somewhere else but it was so last second. I'm definitely overpaying. And the walls are super thin you hear absolutely everything. read more

I absolutely love 909 Broad! From the start everyone in the leasing office has been so sweet and personable (and never pushy with signing my lease)! Whenever I've needed to have something fixed, my work orders are always completed efficiently and promptly! The online residential portal is so convenient.. You can keep track of payments (even make them automatic) and easily put in work orders electronically. There's even free printing and computers for residents along with a fantastic gym and pool!! It was on the pricey side when I first moved in, but now considering how living costs in Athens are climbing, 909 is the best deal around! One of my favorite things about 909, other than the secure parking deck, is that the leasing office often puts on events. Among other things we've had a St. Patty's Day Scavenger Hunt (909 posted pics of 'leprechauns' on their Snapchat story throughout the complex and those lucky enough to grab them (like me!) got a free tshirt and other merchandise). Also one evening we had a yoga instructor come in to teach a class (for free!!). I'm already signed up for my second lease here and hope to see you here too!!! ps. It's also pet-friendly and from my experience it's amazingly insulated- I've had absolutely no issues with noisy neighbors (or my noisy parties for that matter)! read more

First, forget about using a cell phone in these apartments because there is NO SERVICE due to the parking garage. They do not inform you however, even though they are fully aware of the issue. My apartment was unclean upon move in. The floor was filthy, the toilet had brown streaks, cupboards had food smears, light bulbs were burnt out, the tacks in the carpet were exposed, and multiple things needed fixed around the apartment. There was a huge issue with other tenants allowing their dogs to go to the bathroom in the hallways of the apartment complex. I have seen throw up, underwear, blood, and feces in the hallways, sometimes sitting for multiple days before being cleaned up. On weekends, trash piles up at the entrance to the complex, spilling over into the parking garage. The stairwells are disgusting and covered with trash, spilt beer, and other miscellaneous substances. More importantly, their staff is dismissive and unwilling to help out with situations that occur in their building. My apartment was infested with fleas prior to moving. My cat began to become infested with fleas, even though she had never been outside the apartment. She ended up having to have part of her tail amputated due to the fleas. I spent over $1,400 in carpet cleaning, exterminators and vet bills relating to the fleas and there are still fleas in my apartment. The office would not let me out of my lease or compensate me in any way. My apartments has had spider mites, silverfish, cockroaches, spiders, and a bunch of bugs I've never even seen before. Maintenance workers will also show up at your door unannounced and let themselves in. Also, there is a high risk chance of you or your car getting hit in the parking garage. The garage is too narrow, everyone drives extremely fast, and I have almost been hit on multiple occasions. The location is definitely great, but no way in hell is it worth everything else this cheap apartment complex makes you endure. read more

You definitely could do better. Units are a pretty good size with huge closets, which is great. They are pretty good about maintenance requests. Management is generally fine and helpful, but I have complained about the same problem for two months and after being told numerous times that something was being done I found out this was actually not true. To start, the management and amenities in this place are typically excellent. Maintenance is the best I've encountered in apartment living. The new workout center is top notch and is free. All appliances were great, and if they broke they were fixed or replaced very quickly. The staff was always as friendly and helpful as they could be. It's really close to downtown Athens if that is your thing. The garage is the building's only real detractor. The corners are too sharp causing many close calls in terms of car accidents. It's also very busy. If you live on the lower levels you almost always have to park higher than the floor you live. Guest parking while I lived there was a constant hassle. There are not enough spaces on the first floor, particularly since they started splitting the parking with the businesses in the building. To park beyond the gate, I either had to pay for a permit and the guest was required to park on the roof OR take the risk with them not booting your friend/family member's car. Any time people move in or out, there's a truck that partially blocks the entrance to the garage. The rest of this review is a warning I wish I would have seen when I was renting and is the reason I am writing it. This is a party lifestyle apartment complex. If you like quiet or not being disrupted, this is not the place I would recommend. I don't think there was a time were I ever felt I was guaranteed peace. It seemed like you were equally as likely to have music blasted into your apartment from your neighbor's balcony at 4am on a Tuesday as you were at 10:30pm on a Friday. My upstairs neighbor's footsteps were a constant companion. People scream for no reason. Throw bottles and trash for no reason. I came out and found a half-drank can of beer sitting on the hood of my car. Someone had used it as their personal coaster and forgotten about it. I hold absolutely none of this against 909's management. They do what they can. In fact, I feel terribly for the onsite staff for having to deal with their residents as a job. read more

It's close to downtown, the maintenance, staff, and management are great and always very helpful. The unit was very clean when I moved in and any maintenance requests I have are always taken care of very quickly. The amenities are also very nice: the pool, club room, and gym. I wish they had a couple of other things in the gym like a Stairmaster, but that's just me. I highly recommend 909! read more
