Had a great time at the Fairmont where I stayed for three days. This is definitely an historic hotel that was built in 1912 whee a lost of nostalgia from a past era still remains. Some furnitures of the Titanic, a replica of the constitution and the inevitable Oak room. I absolutely love the details on the walls and ceiling. My room was spacious and very comfortable. A little bit noisy as my HVAC had some sort of mechanical problem. I do like the charm of the hotel but it does need a little bit of a renovation. The staff is very friendly and helpful and extremely polite. You can not beat this central location at Copley Plaza close the Queen private Club and Newberry Street Love their breakfast in the long room. Overall a very pleasant stay!!

A grand old hotel that has remained elegant throughout the years. The rooms are large and comfortable. The sraff is exceptional inn all areas and everyone goes out of their way to be of assistance.

I stayed at the Fairmont Copley Plaza for two nights this week for a conference. My room was nice - large, with a desk set up, an armchair, a large dresser, a large closet (with plenty of hangers, an iron, a steamer, a safe, and more). The bathroom was also large with a tub/shower combo and some fancier toiletries (Le Labo). I have really minor, picky complaints - the door sits too high and lets too much light in from the hall, the water pressure from the rain shower head wasn't super strong - but overall, the room was very nice. The service at the desk was nice as well. And the location is great - walkable to everything in Back Bay (right across from Trinity Church), the Public Garden, the Boston Commons, T stations, and more. I walked to a great restaurant for dinner a free night I had, and I walked to a bookstore, a coffee shop, a chocolate shop, and more. Overall, it was a very nice hotel.

Well this hotel is very historic! When you walk in as you can see in pictures it is elegant and beautiful. It is located in the heart of Copley area. Very walkable to other areas of Boston and near the Green T line, Commuter rail station called Back Bay station, the amtrak and the Orange line I think. The Staff that work here were helpful and very nice. There is also a hotel dog named Cori who all tourists and locals love coming to see Cori and give some pets and take pictures with. There is a gym in this hotel on the top floor which looked to have alot of different machines and yoga mats. The view from the treadmills looking out onto boylston street is pretty awesome too. ( I did not take any pics of the gym as because there were alot of people in there when I went to check it out). There is a floor of this hotel called the gold floor and the rooms on this floor are magical. Very Beautiful, with great looking bathrooms too. Though I was lucky enough to stay in one of these rooms there unfortunately was no fridge which I did not know until after I got into the room. There is a sign where it is supposed to be saying if you want a fridge to call front desk. So I did. There is a Nespresso machine with two kinds of flavored coffee which was nice. One was decaf and other was regular. The closet space was big but there are no drawers at least that I saw to put your clothes away. The bed was comfortable. On this gold floor there is also a lounge that unfortunately did not get to check out due to timing but I saw it has a coffee machine too. From what I did see of it it looks very nice and hope to check it out next time. I believe it costs extra though to go in. This is also a major hub for everyone or alot of people involved with Boston Marathon week. Alot of the elite runners have been known to stay here and all. One thing I did notice that there were some cups, dishes left outside of peoples rooms for multiple days. And there was some trash near the elevators that were left there for a few days as well. I know that keeping up with hotels and the cleanliness is and can be a major undertaking. One last part of this hotel is there is a great bar/restaurant located in the lobby area. Gorgeous bar area and great food. I highly recommend getting the bread and honey butter. The turkey sandwich was good too. And the bees knees drink. They also have a ballroom and other meeting rooms here. So there are alot of times outside events going on at this hotel. I highly recommend staying here at least one night. And if not then just stopping in to see the very elegant lobby and to see Cori Copley ( the dog as mentioned above)

A great evening exploring the Fairmont Cooley Plaza. A great entrance but when you step in the door it transports you to a luxurious European hotel. The black lab @coricopley greets you at the door or can be found resting inside highlighting the pet friendly hotel. After passing through the doors a grand arched hallway awaits you. In the main lobby the ceilings continue the arched designs and again seem like you're standing in the foyer of a grand European hotel. The bar is large with high ceilings and an old world warm feel. Lots of wood and like it's been there forever. The staff are attentive and friendly. Great spot for a cocktail before dinner. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Copley.

Fancy but old hotel in a great location in back Bay. Mainly picked this spot for the location. I was pleasantly surprised with everything but ran into a few issues that left a bad taste in my mouth. The room was nice, clean, definitely can sense the building is on the older side but nothing felt dated. Nice le labo products in the bathroom. My first problem was when I was taking a shower, I unrolled a new wash cloth to find a live tick! This was hanging on the towel rack. I don't know how it would get there, if this was clean, or where/how they wash their towels. It left me paranoid of every towel, the sheets, the pillows, just gives you a skin crawling feeling of are there more? I brought this up to the front desk when checking out and they offered to comp the $30 bar tab I had. I felt this was a much more significant issue than a bar tab. The manager was unavailable but I was told she would call me. She emailed me later in the day and offered to comp half the room. We will see if I get the credit. Other notable problems were the power outlets which were oddly very unaccessible from the bed. I don't know how you have a hotel these days that doesn't at least have a lamp or something you can plug a cell phone into. Very annoying trying to reach the plug on the floor behind the dresser. Additionally the noise was very bad as others were saying. It feels like there is no door to the room and the people in the hallway are right inside. I was awoken numerous times to just normal conversation in the hallway in the morning. The hotel restaurant/bar oak is very nice. Long spacious bar, with a cool vibe. Food being served late at night. I didnt eat but the food looked good. Drinks were alright, nothing special. But for a hotel bar, it was a lively vibe on a Tuesday night.

Beautiful hotel built in the early 1900's. The lobby is full of beautiful marble and gilded ceilings. The staff are very well trained and accommodating. The room was beautiful and the bed comfortable. The shower needed a little work but otherwise a great location to stay in the city.

Pros: Great location with many shops and restaurants in walking distance Beautifully appointed Decently equipped gym at top of hotel Great banquet food Cons: The meeting spaces can be updated Can tell some of the areas are aging - both in lobby and in rooms Pro tip: Join Accor rewards club if you don't already have a membership. It's free and you get lots of perks, even a drink!

I chose the hotel because of an event that was taking place on site and it's reputation for a high end hotel, but unfortunately, my overall experience left much to be desired. The only pro is that the hotel is situated in a prime location, close to many popular tourist attractions, making it convenient for sightseeing and exploring the area. However, the same is true for the numerous other hotels around this spot. The cons for me start with the room being a major letdown of this hotel. My room was very small and outdated, more so when seeing my friends' room. The size of our room made it difficult to have people visit our room to catch up or to get ready together as there was no space. When I ask, the front desk staff had no reason that we were assigned such a dismal room as we arrived on a weekday, well before the rest of the reunion attendees arrived and hotel became very full. To add insult they also share that both rooms are in the same price bracket - although one was a good 3x larger with a true sized closet. The close second con was the ongoing noise disturbances. Unfortunately, the thin walls and lack of soundproofing made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. I could hear conversations and plumbing from neighboring rooms; walking and early morning vacuuming in the hallway; and constant traffic noise from outside. I have enjoyed a quiet night sleep in NYC numerous times so I put this to a lack of quality. In summary, while the location from this hotel was great, I would not recommend or repeat my visit due to the above (and those I didn't type up) cons and that there are many other hotels in the same area. If the Fairmont would invest in a much-needed renovation and improvements to room quality and soundproofing, it could be a gem. Another option is to price according to true room classification, it was a basic room vs the deluxe king that I paid for.

I would stay here for the customer service alone. Every person I interacted with was phenomenally friendly and catered to what I needed immediately. The text service is SO quick for any questions I had, and the option to order dinner the night before is unmatched. Please don't even get me started on the classic, elegant, beautiful decor. We will absolutely be back.

    Super chill and cozy vibe

The staff was so helpful, very kind. The room was clean, and the hotel itself is well kept. Parking... ok so there is valet right at the front, they said $70. But there is a self park right next to the hotel and it was $45 for over 24 hours of parking. It's a bit of a walk if you have a ton of luggage, so you may want to drop all your stuff off out front before you self park. Easy to pay online, the hotel can help you do that!

Our stay at the Canopy by Hilton Boston Downtown was a complete delight! The hotel was modern,…read morespacious, and clean with barely any noticeable flaws. I will highlight key points below: Room: The room was very spacious and offered a giant bathroom with big stall shower. There was a chaise lounge for relaxing, as well as a desk with a comfortable chair. Instead of a lame coffeemaker, the room included a Nespresso machine. The bath products were by a company called Apoteke from Brooklyn and seemed high-end. The television offered live TV and access to various streaming services if you entered your logins (supposedly deleted after checkout). The room was relatively soundproof from neighbors and outdoor noise. Plus, everything was spotless! The only issue was the bed, which I found lumpy and uncomfortable. I was not sure if there was a feather topper or something, but it felt like I was lying on a mattress full of crumbled tissues. The pillows were fine, though. ROSE Town Kitchen & Bar: I did not dine here, but heard the breakfasts were good. However, I was there for evening cocktails and was impressed with the vast list of beverage options. The Temperature Rising with Ghost Blanco Tequila, Chinola, lime, agave, and a tajin rim offered a great blend of heat and sweetness. The sprawling dining room and large bar made the place very comfortable. The second floor location offered a great view of the park across the street. The bar staff was also excellent. Front Desk: The check-in/out services were easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were greeted every time we returned to the hotel. Convenience Store: The lobby offered a small convenience store with snacks, beverages (including alcohol), Boston merchandise, wellness items, and more. Social Hour: I am not sure if it happens daily, but there were a few evenings during our stay where they were offering complimentary spring rolls and High Noon/hard lemonade in the lobby from 4-5 pm. Fitness Center: The 24-hour gym was huge! It offered a variety of cardio machines (3 Pelotons, tons of treadmills, 1 recumbent bike, 2 ellipticals, and 1 rowing machine), medicine balls, kettlebells, 1 set of weights (could have used more of these), 2 benches, yoga mats, and a strength station. They also had cups and a water cooler, as well as a lot of space to work out. Location: The location was spectacular if you wanted to see some of the touristy sites. Within close walking distance were some key attractions like the North End, Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, Boston Public Market, and the Seaport area. Parking: They offered valet parking for around $55-$65 overnight, but we self-parked in a lot a block away for $40 a night. There were no in/out privileges, however. Aside from the bed, I thought Canopy was amazing and definitely one of the best hotels I had stayed at in the city.

While we were checking in, we overheard the front desk changing a room rate down to $600 per night because, as the employee put it, "our prices were insane." Let that sink in**. $600 was the discounted price.** They had been charging over $1,000 per night simply because there was a concert in town. That's absurd. The hotel itself is basically an old motel with a fresh coat of paint. It's clean enough, but the old, dingy carpet, outdated feel, and cheap finishes make it feel like a budget roadside motel trying to pass itself off as a boutique hotel. Their biggest "luxury" amenity is a record player in the room, which feels more like a gimmick than anything else. Parking was the biggest disaster. Before we arrived, we specifically called and asked if parking would be available because we knew there was limited capacity due to the concert. We were told yes. We arrived literally five minutes later and were told there were no spots left, forcing us to pay over $300 in parking during our two-night stay. To make matters worse, as we walked to our room, we watched them valet another guest's car right in front of us. Nobody had left. A spot didn't magically appear. They told us it was reserved for special guests. Sorry my assumption for paying your outrageous prices for this motel was that I would be included in this special guest category. (update special guests were for the trailers they keep in the back) What made everything even worse was the staff's attitude. Customer service was nonexistent. Yes, the location is convenient, but Boston has countless hotels in great locations. Do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else. This place is an overpriced, dingy motel with a boutique price tag and some of the worst customer service I've experienced.

On the surface, this hotel presents as polished and upscale, but over time it became clear that it is a full-on Monet--looks good at a glance, but the closer you get, the more issues appear. During my stay, I was required to move rooms three times--once voluntarily after an upgrade, and twice due to serious maintenance issues, including a sprinkler-system flood. In subsequent rooms, I experienced repeated heating failures, inconsistent hot water, and even a shower head detaching during use. The heating issues were ongoing and never fully resolved. On multiple occasions, my room dropped to 66-67 degrees despite the thermostat being set to 80. Even after maintenance visits, the room never consistently warmed beyond 75 degrees. On the morning before my departure, I woke to cold air blowing again, confirming the problem persisted through the end of my stay. Management follow-through was disappointing. Promises to check back or assist were not kept, and communication was inconsistent at best. While beverage credit was offered, it did not come close to addressing the cumulative disruption, lack of rest, and stress caused by ongoing room issues over nearly seven weeks. The saving grace of this hotel was the weekday bartender, Rebecca. Monday through Friday, she greeted my colleagues and me with genuine warmth, professionalism, and grace after very long workdays. She was consistently excellent. Unfortunately, that level of service was not present on weekends, and our group ultimately chose to avoid the hotel bar until Rebecca returned. That said, I do want to acknowledge Shirley, Wendy, James, and Nate, who were consistently kind, professional, and helpful, as well as the valet staff, who were always efficient and courteous. This hotel may work for a very short stay if expectations are modest. For long-term or extended stays, however, the operational issues, lack of follow-through, and inconsistent hospitality do not align with the image or price point the property presents.

Personally for a morning coffee or matcha I say check out Blank Street Coffee, then food wise I would say take a quick walk to the North End or closer try Tavern In The Square. Definitely a hotel worth looking into while visiting Boston!

We were on our way out to Fenway, so the friendly gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to give us walking directions after he showed us around the guest spaces and our room. Location: 5 : an easy 10 minute walk to Fenway, a 12 minute walk to the Commons. A wealth of eating options, safe secure and walkable in every direction. Room: 5 Our room was impeccable with impressive personal touches and attention to detail. Little things like Fiji water, fresh soft towels (and a black towel for makeup), full array of toiletries, and a welcoming comfortable firm bed. Despite having alllll the things to do in Boston, I was excited to get back to that room and that bed, and I slept like a log. I like a good bed when I'm traveling and I would never stay at another place if I had the option. My favorite aspect was having a separate bedroom and living area (with pull out couch). All things comparable, I've stayed in a thousand hotels, I've traveled Boston thoroughly. This will be my go-to forever. Whether traveling single, as a couple, or with my kids, I will look at 284 first and foremost. Kid-friendly: yes! I would definitely stay here with my kids (ages 9, 11, 13). Safe, fun, welcoming, and wallet-friendly. Special bonus and wow impression: each room is themed after a different artist. I love love love this concept and intrigued me a thousand times over. I ave a personal goal to stay in every room now.

It is close to Fenway Park and we were able to walk there and back. This would be a good location if that was your destination. Parking is $70 extra per night which I find excessive but maybe that's the going rate in Boston. We had a king room on the 7th floor. There's a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and a nice area to eat. It had a sofa and a small flat screen tv that you can adjust on a mount. The layout was good for our needs. The issue was housekeeping. At first glance there were some crumbs in the kitchen and a few hairs in the tub , and dirty kitchen items. Later we discovered dirty sheets. We requested our entire bedding be changed the next morning and the rest of the room be serviced as well. We came back to the room and the bed was changed but none of the room was cleaned so we headed back down again to request cleaning. We were told it would be cleaned the next day. The staff were apologetic and we didn't have any issues with them. Breakfast is served downstairs and the gentleman was overseeing the area for cleanliness and refills. He did a great job. Breakfast was basic but good. We are quite disappointed with the lack of cleanliness so for that reason we won't stay here again.

The environment was beautifully decorated for Christmas, like last year, and I had to take some pictures to have as desktop wallpaper on my computer. We had a very nice time and the selections on the menu were impressive. I went with the carrot cake chai black tea, mainly because it had pumpkin pie kinds of spices and vanilla rooibos. It tasted wonderful, like an autumnal tea, and all our teas came in beautifully decorated tea pots, apparently from Australia. The Four Seasons also does this interesting thing where they give you a liquor that fits with your tea order, to be added if you wish or drank by itself. I had a sip of mine and from someone else's, a bit strong for me but a bailey's one was alright. I'm fine with just tea myself! As for the food, this year's high tea was one of the best I've had. The menu was different from last year's, which was great too but in my opinion this seemed like an upgrade. Some of the food items included pieces of salmon in a little pastry, mini lobster roll, peking duck crepe, curried chicken croissant, a beautiful deviled egg, vanilla bean and brown butter scones, an eggnog tart, and a Santa hat shaped raspberry pastry. We even got some alternate options for a lactose sensitive person, so that's a great plus as well. The atmosphere was elegant and calming, and the service was great. The Four Seasons high tea was a very special holiday event, and comes highly recommended!
