    Chicken parmigiana
    Gloria L.

I got the chicken parmigiana with rigatoni. It usually comes with spaghetti noodles, but I highly recommend getting it with the rigatoni. It's a cute cafe with pretty close quarters, but very nice ambiance. The menu has pretty select items, they know what they're good at and keep their menu concise. They do sandwiches, but we came for dinner, but I'd like to come back to try them.

Awesome salads and sandwiches! We had a Caesar with grilled chicken, more than large enough for one so we shared it. I had an Italian sandwich, good with Italian meats and added mayo and Italian dressing. Lots of parking but the lots are also under construction so be aware, it might be a short walk.

LaRosa's is such a warm and welcoming place. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is very friendly. I ordered their specialty, the LaRosa's pasta with vodka sauce, and I would honestly go back just for that, it was that good. The portions are huge and satisfying, definitely worth it. On top of that, the drinks were amazing too. Without a doubt, this is a spectacular spot I'd highly recommend.

    Drunken Chicken Parm sandwich

I'm so glad we finally got around to trying this place! I always love the *idea* of a chicken parm sandwich, but since I'm not a big red sauce fan I usually end up getting something else. Imagine my delight at seeing the Drunken Chicken Parm on their menu: Chicken parm made with vodka sauce! This was so good, and I finally felt I got to have the chicken parm experience. Our other item was the Caprese sandwich. They have this as a salad, too, so it was a hard choice but we were very happy with our sandwich. Very fresh and a relatively healthy pick. Service was quick - I placed an order with the very friendly staff and stepped next door for about 10 minutes to take care of other business. The food was ready just a few minutes after I got back despite quite a few customers. The shop is cute and has both outdoor and sidewalk tables. These looked comfortable, but it was take-out for us. Parking was easy in a nearby street space with municipal lots very nearby.

The food is delicious. It is pricy but you are paying for what you're getting. Good size servings, delicious and fresh food, in a great environment. My favorite is the godfather!

LaRosa's is the kinda place where you can choose your own adventure: order at the register and dine in, pick up/ take out, catering, etc. We couldn't decide so we split 2 sandwiches: drunken parm (chicken Parmesan with cheese and VODKA sauce on a brioche bun) and the angry Sicilian (Italian sandwich on thick toasted sandwich bread with fresh mozzarella). Although both were phenomenal, the drunken parm is way more rich and filling- so splitting THIS sandwich was the right move. We skipped their To Go espresso martinis but we'll be back the next time we're in town!

LaRosa's is a very cute and easy place to get lunch at. The food was outstanding and staff were extremely nice. I will have to come back for coffee and breakfast. Prices were good and the vibes were high. Thank you very much!

Great place for some takeout. Or a somewhat fancy night out. It's part store and restaurant which is nice to have that option. Got some pasta and a salad and it hit the spot for a light dinner. They were generous with the thick bread slices too. Would recommend.

The sandwich was good and well put together. The flowers of the meat, cheese, veggies and balsamic go so well together. I wish the peppers were hotter but the roasted red peppers were delicious. The bread had a good toast on it but was still soft so the roof of my mouth isn't completely destroyed. Definitely make sure you have plenty of napkins. I would come back for this sangy, and probably try some others.

I tried two, the classic with rosé was so pretty, and the honey lavender with base level champagne was delicious. The raw oysters were to die for! Perfect little pop of acidity with other flavors delicately added and perfectly balanced. The oysters Rockefeller were also perfectly delicious. The foie gras is not something I would normally eat, but my boyfriend loves that stuff so we went with it. I enjoyed it more than he did. It was not a classic foie gras, it was smoother with a creamier texture and more buttery flavor. Eating it with the fig jam and "light as clouds" toast made it absolutely delicious! I enjoyed every minute and mouthful--would definitely seek this place out again even though I live an hour away! We enjoyed ourselves too much to take pictures!

For drinks I ordered the lychee martini and chai-tini buzz. The lychee martini was a little too sweet and the chai martini was too milky for my liking. There are a lot of interesting cocktails on the menu so I'd like to try something different next time. For food I ordered the Samosa Bliss and the iron pan (kadhai) hit with paneer and a side of garlic naan. The samosas were delicious: crispy on the outside and well-seasoned on the inside with a tangy sauce. The paneer was excellent in terms of portion size and texture. I would have preferred basmati rice with the entree instead of the yellow rice and more garlic on the naan, but overall it was a satisfying meal. There isn't a dessert menu but they have a case with a variety of Indian sweets. Service was very attentive and felt like you were eating at a family's home. Lots of nearby street parking. As with many older New England buildings, the entrance is a little tight and has a few steps so it may be difficult for some people to enter. I look forward to visiting again!

Service is fantastic - you enter from the patio side (steps up front and ramp along back of the patio). These guys are well and professionally staffed and we've always been met and seated quickly. All of our servers have been knowledgeable and helpful in making selections. They have regular tables, high tops, bar seating and outdoor tables. There are dedicated water bowls for anyone who brings a pup (outdoors only) and the dogs I've seen have been well behaved and adorable. The raspberry is REAL. Speaking as someone who enjoys artificial raspberry flavors of jam donuts and bottled ice tea...idk if Nan's makes it for real, but, if so, you can taste it! As first-timers, we were treated with such warmth and patience by the staff - no pressure, no rush, just genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. We started by sharing the hatch chili farro bowl with roasted cauliflower and hominy, fragrant ginger carrots, and lemon mustard salmon. The tomato harissa sauce and zhoug were absolutely incredible - seriously, these sauces are to die for! Everything was perfectly seasoned and the flavors were so well-balanced. Pictures are not perfect, but the lighting was so warm and comfortable, you will have to excuse them! Halfway through our meal, I spotted they had coconut carrot soup with chickpeas and ginger on the menu and literally ran back to order a cup. We ended up sharing that too, and it was such a smart move - the soup was aromatic and comforting with just the right amount of spice from the ginger. To drink, we had fresh lemonade and iced tea (both perfectly refreshing), and couldn't resist finishing with their banana pudding, which was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. What really stood out beyond the exceptional food was how accommodating and friendly the service was. They made splitting dishes feel completely natural and were so welcoming when I dashed back for that soup! The attention to flavor and seasoning here is remarkable - every single component of our meal was thoughtfully prepared. We're already planning our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared food with service that makes you feel like family.
