One of my favorite restaurants to go to, ever! I was so excited when they announced their vegan cheese and plant-based meats. One note: the plant based meats are not gluten-free (learned the hard way!). Today I had the veggie deluxe pizza on gluten free crust and it was delicious! Our morning shift waitress was a little strange and forgot a ton of things. However, we got switched during a shift change to a younger waitress and she was great. Painstaking slow service if you eat in. We sat in the back for an hour (not exaggerating, I remember watching the clock) before our food came. Making our entire experience just over an hour and a half. We were one of four tables in the entire place. It was obsurd! I love the $7.49 deal with a small side salad and small entree. The house salads here are always basic and deliciously fresh, I love them. My lasagna was not great. The top layer of cheese had melted and re-hardened before it was given to me. Next time I'll stick with just pizza. The rest of the table's meals were fine. Our waitress was friendly. I've picked up to-go orders from here with really no problem. If you're not a big fan of their traditional sauce (we aren't) I highly recommend the focaccia sauce! It's very good! I had written a review and the LaRosa's corporation responded with a generic "we are sorry...". It didn't seem like I could respond via YELP to give them constructive feedback so it looks like I need to write a response. Its not that I think that they can improve upon what they have because their pizza is just fundamentally horrible. The crust, the sauce, the cheese. Everything is just not good. I've had it at several locations and the basic recipe is just horrible. I've had pizza from NY to Chicago to Italy to pretty much everywhere. This is just horrible. The worst pizza I've ever had. My husband and I order food from here fairly frequently. A few days ago one of our pizzas was ordered with pineapple and bacon. The bacon was disgusting. 95% of it was all fat, looks uncooked and absolutely repulsive. It will prolly be awhile before we order again. Best Feature: Great food, friendly service! Worst Feature: ... Can't think of any! This is one of my favorite La Rosa's locations - it's near Five Mile on Beechmont, and it's a great place to grab some food! Recently as of August 2010, they had specials running - a large pizza up to 3-4 toppings for only $11.11, which we've taken advantage of. The interior is beautifully decorated; it's very inviting and looks spotless - they have comfy booths to sit in. They do carry-out, delivery, and dine in! Of the several times I've been here, I have never had less than wonderful service! The food is always served in a timely fashion and it tastes fantastic! I love the fact the servers are always willing to help us save a penny and tell us about their deals - we once had a waitress tell us how to amend our order to save $$ which was not required and highly appreciated! I will definitely return here - I'm normally one to try to find restaurants that aren't a major chain, but if I had to pick one, this would definitely be at the top of the list! read more

Awesome food and great customer service!! Stopped in to get to go late one night, and while we were placing our order, a police officer walked in. While he was waiting for us to finish ordering he got a call and had to leave. The manager Brandon said the officer had stopped in earlier that night and the same thing happened, so Brandon decided to make the officer a pizza in case he came back in so he wouldn't have to wait for food. Awesome! Not to mention the food was incredible, and Brandon even came around the register to walk our food over to us, when he could have easily just called us back over. I know the pizza sauce is a bit sweet but I enjoy it once and a while, though honestly I only eat it at the ballpark or if it is at an event- and usually free. If you want an affordable place for lunch- the salads are big and fresh and when paired with bread sticks or garlic bread make a meal for under $7. The service is mixed. I have had great service and miserable service. While not the best pizza in town it is a Cincinnati institution. I love the way the Larosa family supports local sports. The 11 strike out free pizza deal has been one of the few things worth rooting for during Reds games lately. read more

What is this LaRosa's like? Busy - I counted 19 people in the kitchen last Saturday night. Fast- I mostly get carry out, it has always been ready when I got there, usually a few minutes before I was scheduled. Consistent- the food is always good, they have their menu down cold. Fantastic online ordering options - We've gone from two pizza's to one because it's so easy to create a halved pizza with totally different ingredients on each side. Only one complaint - it's just not that hard to cut a pizza pie into 8 even slices- I think it's happened only once for me. The last one had a full cut a good two inches off center. If that's a purposeful thing- "yeah, just give me a small piece" - fine, let me specify evenly cut as an option. read more

Great family friendly pizzeria. Service is always great, employees are always smiling, and they will fix any issue to make it right. Their gluten free pizza is one of the best around; personally, I think the sauce is a bit too sweet, but I get the idea that this is why their original recipe became so popular...besides this small factor, it's really good. This is a clean location with nice decor...and one of their most exceptional servers is 'Brad'...(they're all great, he's just exceptional). I went to la Rosa Anderson today. We had a group of 6. We were sat down and waited 15 minutes and no one came to our table. I went to the counter and then they sent a waitress Kennedy to our table. She took our food and drink order. A half hour later I went to the front counter to complain we hadn't gotten our food when other people who came in after us had. The asset manager went to check. About 8 minutes later we got our food. We had to ask for our checks and boxes. When she took our checks she was gone again for over 10 minutes. We never heard sorry for your wait or anything. That was the worst service I received there and not sure when or if I will be back. read more

When my family & I come to town to visit we always try to order pizza from this location in order to get the gluten free pizza and you never disappoint it's always very delicious! I have been a LaRosa's fan ever since my husband and I moved to Cincinnati 4 years ago. We visited the Anderson Township location today in order to redeem a free pan pizza from a Reds game last week. First, I think that it is really awesome that they run a program such as this (if the Reds have 11 strike outs during a game, then everyone at the game can redeem their ticket stub for a free personal pizza). Second, the telephone operator taking my order was super friendly, even after I told him I was just redeeming my free pizza. Finally, when my husband picked up the pizza, they asked that he look at it before leaving. To me this shows that they take pride in their product. They wanted to ensure that he was happy with his pizza before he even walked out of the door. The pizza itself was good, but I am just really impressed with the service that we received. read more

Admittedly the waitress was new and almost spilt our drinks on us and then recovered her composure and attempted service delivery. Though the kitchen killed it all!! Almost an hour to receive 3 baked onion soups with no bread/croutons. Waitress offered to get garlic bread and tell manager. No manager ever spoke to us. Pizzas all came out luke warm at best. Calzone was missing the special sauce. And the garlic bread came after the pizzas were eaten! No cheese - nothing special to make up for the up charge onion soups! And then she dropped the check while we were eating?? Really lack luster experience & no management attention for all of the mishaps!!! Update : LaRosa's reached out via email re our experience and has attempted to recover our business. Our latest experience was better. Every time I go to this location my pizza isn't the greatest. There is never extra cheese when I PAYED for it, pizzas can be very soggy. Last to there was just no sauce on my entire large pizza. No sauce. How do you forget that. Haha. Wow. It's such an inconvenience to have to go to another larosas. But even after trying multiple times, it's just wasted money. I've complained multiple times. My dad came back from traveling over seas and had been craving a good pizza for a while. We decided to get the amazing three for 21 deal. That's three medium pizzas with four toppings each for 21 bucks! The cheese, which automatically comes on the pizza, doesn't count as a separate topping. You even have a choice of three cheese or provolone, both of which are incredibly tasty. We don't often order delivery because we have had a couple of pretty lengthy and frustrating experiences with the food being very late and very cold. This experience was perfect! The estimate on the website (we ordered online, very user friendly interface and really detailed options, even for the pickiest eaters!) said 34-40 minutes. The delivery guy was promptly here within the expected time. My dad even ordered only half of one of his pizzas with extra marinara sauce. As for my order, there was a ton (tomatoes, spinach, peperoni, green olives) of items ordered, all of which were present on the steaming pizza. They got the entire order right and I can't wait to order from there again when the pizza mood strikes me! read more

LaRosa's pizza is my favorite pizza of all time! I love their cheese pizza and lemon smoothies! Also, if you are looking for a dessert the hot fudge brownie sundae is the way to go.
