I love this location. The management is the absolute sweetest and took time to chat with us despite our late arrival. Our server was great and didn't seem bothered by our late arrival either. This matters!! I don't love going to restaurants late but we had been traveling and needed to eat. I'm so glad this was our choice. I loved LaRosa's as a kid but was pretty disappointed with the lukewarm cardboard we ate at an event here. Skyline chili was presented on a buffet table with room temperature hot dogs and paper quarts of microwaved chili, onions and little bags of cheese so you could make your own cheese coneys. The Graeters ice cream was good, served in paper single serve cups. Adjustable lighting would help, the lights we're hospital bright. Dirty plates were mixed in the the clean plates so I opted for the paper plates I found in a cabinet. Staff was friendly. Deducted a star for them leaving stuff blocking the the fire exit (just a few miles from the Beverly Hills Supper Club fire of 1977 where blocked fire exits were a problem). (Pictured) read more

We ordered 3 pizza's last night. Two were the chicken bacon ranch and a cheese. one pizza was a little burnt. The ranc on the pizza doesn't taste the same anymore, even the grandkids mentioned it after they took a bit. I would really like to know if that's the case. Getting sloppy. The last few times we have ordered, our food was subpar (which they did correct), but the last order got me on another level. We ordered lunch, a pizza, some hoagies, and a salad. On the app I have "make delivery to back of the house". On this day the driver called to tell me she dropped off the food on our front porch. I didn't ask for no contact. There is a reason why we want delivery to back of the house, and she just put it on the front porch. Recently we came to Larosa's for my grandpa's 80th birthday dinner. This was my grandpa's favorite restaurant before they moved to the new building so we decided to take him here to see the new place. This new restaurant front is so nice, it is right on Taylor mill road and is very easy to get in and out of. They have so much more room in this brand new building and they have decorated it very well. We had 10 people in our party and are a pretty easy group. Our waitress was very nice and even brought my son some crackers seeing that Chunk couldn't wait for pizza lol. We all had our drinks very quickly and she brought our family sized salad out almost 5 minutes after we ordered it. We ordered chicken Montgomery Inn rondos and Montgomery Inn rib pizza. The pizza was so delicious and if you've never tried a rondo seriously your missing one of the best things on the menu. All around our experience was excellent and the owner kept coming over to make sure we were happy which was very sweet. We will be coming back for sure! Honestly I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could. I am saying this as a lover of the LaRosas chain in general too. We tried to have a family birthday here and after ordering multiple appetizers and meals and ONE round of a few beers (less than half the 12 person party drinking) we were told we were cut off. Now I'm not oblivious to the fact that we had our grandfather with us who might have from a distance appeared drunk but they did not ask -just embarrassed the whole table claiming we have been observed throughout the salad portion of our meal. He has been through a long 2 year battle of throat cancer and yes seems sloppy because of multiple rounds of chemo, radiation and pain meds. I HOPE that was the cause and not the fact that we had a few kids and a Black man with us while in Taylor Mill but who really knows. All I know is I won't be back. My niece quit working here because of the conditions and I'm just overall not impressed. Head on down the hill to the Covington location where you'll be treated with respect and dignity. read more

Your quality at the Taylor mill trifecta store has really gone down hill. They never get the order right. I even called ahead of time the 3471111 number to make sure they did and they didn't. The driver told me he checked the ticket and it was wrong so he told the chef to make it over. At least he was paying attention. But I guess since they rushed it I was undercooked and doughy. I used to love your pizza. And there was a time I ordered one once a week. I keep giving you another chance, but enough is enough you just lost a life long customer. Got delivered last night. Will not be doing that again. Used to be they had really good chicken wings. What I received last night was blackened and old. Probably an order that was not accepted for the dining room or for pick up as those are actually looked at. I felt like they were re cooked or had been sitting for hours. Not good. Fries were old and soggy. Bread sticks we're hard. I'm guessing by the fact that my husband didn't eat half of his sandwich that it too was not edible. LaRosas is way too expensive to put out food that is that bad. Very disappointed and not going back. This location is very inconsistent. Food is not the issue with this place. This particular La Rosas has the worst customer service of any franchise in the system. Wait times to sit are ridiculous, given that tables are wide open. I've been to this location twice. The first time was for a lunch date which we ate pizza.. It was fantastic!! We also was there last Monday with four kids. On Mondays Adam Tuesday's they have all you can eat spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread.. It's 5 something for adults and $1 for kids. Well worth the price to bring out so many kids. The staff is always super friendly when we are there. They messed up a little on the last trip but they were nice and apologetic about it. I will be back at this location again for sure! read more

I instantly became ill due to my gluten allergy. Neither the restaurant or customer service would do anything about it. Don't go to Taylor Mill LaRosa's if you have a food allergy. Great pizza, friendly staff, and perfect for delivery. There's a $2.50 charge for delivery though. Their Zesty bbq chicken pizza is amazing! The jalepenos got a bite! We were very happy with it. Salads are great and I highly recommend their creamy garlic dressing. We ordered delivery again another time and got a hoagy and desserts. Let's face it, anyone in greater Cincinnati who eats pizza (and if you don't, you're nuts) has an opinion of LaRosa's. I love pizza. I love LaRosa's. I love other local pizza. I love making my own pizza I love baking pizza. I love grilling pizza. I love leftover pizza. It can be cold. It can be nuked. It can come from the oven. Do I make myself totally clear? Pizza is awesome. All that said, our new Taylor Mill LaRosa's ROCKS! I have already lost count long ago of how many times we've eaten here, had drinks here, celebrated retirements here (okay, I know that has been twice), and brought home takeaway. One REQUEST: PLEASE get some more adventurous beer choices. Anyone who likes an amber or smooth brown ale is at a loss. Hell, I'd be overjoyed if they'd even put AmberBock on tap! I visited the new LaRosa's on Taylor Mill Road Saturday, Jan. 31. This place is brand new and extremely nice. There is ample parking behind the restaurant and there is actually a hidden little courtyard area between the LaRosa's and Skyline Chili that is located there also. This LaRosa's has a lot of TVs hanging up and a full bar! I was very surprised by the interior of the restaurant. I noticed the Larosa's in Independence has a full bar too, unlike the LaRosa's I am accustomed to in Newport. It is a welcomed upgrade! The service was outstanding and the food was great, as usual. I would recommend this place to anyone. I ordered the medium garlic boneless wings and a beer. My wife got the just-right combo with a salad and spaghetti. Both were outstanding. Attention BBN -- I read an advertisement that the restaurant sells $10 buckets of domestic beers for all UK games! Side note - LaRosa's garlic wings can cure ALL ills. They're so good and moderately priced. I can't get enough. read more

Horrible service. Our waitress hardly ever checked on us and she messed up our orders multiple times. A whole pizza was not brought out and she admitted she makes mistakes when she is busy, which I can understand however there were only a few other tables in the entire restaurant and she was not the sole server. Our bills were messed up. We had to wait 20 minutes for them to simply add the buddy card promo and then my bill didn't include one item and it was another 15 minutes for her to charge me more. After walking away from our table she then goes and waits on another table instead of going and fixing our bill with our cards hostage! We got the manager and he said he would handle it but no apologies or anything. He comes out with "gift certificates" for $5 dine in only on a future visit at the northern Kentucky locations. We don't even live in northern Kentucky! We gave them to our friends we were visiting. What a waste. The best part is after all that I got charged twice for both the original bill and the bill with the added item and we had to wait yet again to speak to the manager about fixing it. What a mess. I know times are tough in the service industry the past year so we always try to be understanding but this was all around poor service from top to bottom with no reason why as the restaurant was next to empty. read more

Great location, great delivery service! Just had an abysmal dine in experience tonight that prompted this review though. Spent all day at the hospital with parents, it's late, 8:30 pm and we decide to decompress by dining in. They said they had to seat us in the bar area due to a lack of wait staff...fine. Went back to discover a crowd of loud, obnoxious football fans. Annoying, but not the fault of the servers etc. Right? Ordered our drinks (water and a soda) and sat...and sat...and sat for nearly 15 minutes as the waitress sat with the football crowd, talked, brought them pitchers of beer, appetizers on demand etc. Still no drinks (8 feet from the bar itself...no less). When the ever increasing mod of loud patrons coaxed her into "turning the sound up...then we'll order." we had it and left. Went to the counter to get our order to go only to find no one up front (but all crowded in the back chatting). If you want to be a sports bar, by all means, but i would suggest sticking to pizza. read more

This was my first time to LaRosa's in Taylor Mill. I did not realize that this location was closer than the one I frequented in Newport, KY. This LaRosa's is nice, new and much more spacious. The high ceilings really give the feeling of openness to the area unlike other locations where you always feel somewhat cramped up. I came here for pick-up. The ladies at the pick-up counter were personable and helpful. They messed up our order but made every effort to make things right. I think I've found my preferred LaRosa's location thus I'll be back. read more

We went to the La Rosa's in Taylor Mill and ordered salad,hoagies and pizza first came the salad there were small black bugs in it waiter did have them make a second one only my wife not me (mine also had them) but did not complain what's a couple of little bugs anyway ) then came the hoagies and fries fries were great sandwiches not real hot!! Then came the pizza we only ate a couple of pieces due to how greasy it was got a box and took home the box was full of grease by the time we arrived back home was not a good meal experience at all went to La Rosa's Listens and noted our visit with order # etc. wanted to talk on the phone instead of making the meal right !! come on people there were bugs in our food !!! read more

This is a newer location in the same building as a Graeter's Ice Cream and Skyline Chili. There is plenty of parking and the facility is very new and clean. Same great food you have always loved from LaRosa's. Very friendly staff at this location. We have been here at least ten times and have not experienced any problems with the staff, service or food. Our only gripe with LaRosa's is corporate wide, because they stopped using diced tomatoes in their family salad and now use cherry tomatoes instead. This seems to be a trend in many pizza joints these days. Bring back diced tomatoes! We need to raise awareness about this important issue for 2017. read more

Then came the main course of over cooked spaghetti (almost doughy like, must been sitting in water all day) a very bland sauce, and that came with two stale bread sticks. I GOT FOOD POISONING! So not too long ago, my cousin and I last minute decided to go shopping one afternoon so neither one of us had eaten that morning. We decided to go to this LaRosa's location and I got the bacon ranch pizza and she got cheese pizza with ranch. A few hours later we both felt sick and it only got worse from there. We ended up with food poising so I sent a message to this location so they knew and didn't get anyone else sick. At first they said they wanted more information and I gave them my number but they didn't call me until I sent them a second message the next day saying I never got a call and then right after they called me, I tried to call them back and there was no answer so I sent them another message and never heard anything back. In the voicemail they left me they said that they checked their food but clearly something was missed if that was the only thing we ate that day and nobody else we were hanging out with that day got food poisoning.
