I received the location details and instructions for parking a day or so before my appointment, and the day i arrived, Meg was kind enough to guide me into the parking structure at her studio location. I told her all my concerns (oily skin, hair that doesn't hold curls, etc) and she made sure it was all addressed. I had SO many compliments after my trial and on wedding day. My hair normally doesn't hold a curl but I wanted cohesive waves and they held the entire night without making my hair feel stiff. She was perfectly on time too. Kahn was newer to the agency, but hit it out of the park. As someone who doesn't wear too much makeup on the day to day, I was afraid of not looking like myself but still wanted to look beautiful as an enhanced version of me. I would highly recommend the HMUA trial to others to ease any nerves and allow for time and space to experiment with styling. Kahn addressed my feedback after the HMUA trial and had thoughtful suggestions for things I didn't think about, but were ultimately better suited for my features (e.g. more hair volume to account for the veil, contouring for pictures, nude lip instead of a red). I felt like a princess in the best way possible. Moreover, Kahn did an excellent job for my mom. My mom was jaded and very particular about her HMUA after a terrible experience at her own wedding 30 years ago, but Kahn was patient, accommodating, and well experienced with doing Korean styling. My mom was SO happy with how she looked on the day. Agency-wise, Kelly Zhang was well organized and communicative and I would work with them again in the future!
