The cons: Simply, the sub was NG (no good). It was overpriced (19.50 for the combo). It was not giant. There were not enough ingredients. I got the chicken parm and the chicken was not fried. Blake(the owner) is young, respectful, ambitious, and very kind. I came in for lunch with my guy. The establishment is clean and not too loud. I will start by saying that I grew up in the Chicago area. I thought I would dive into their version of the Chicago Style Italian Beef. At first glance, the sandwich appears understated. However, I was pleased with the outcome. The sub roll was fresh and buttery. The beef was tender, not overcooked and savory, not salty or chewy. The provolone was melted and fully covered the sandwich. The ghiardinera wasn't oily and had great flavor(I personally would request more of it next time). The au jus was served on the side in a tall cup with enough to cover the whole sandwich. I had a Mug's Rootbeer and a bag of Sun Chips as well. If you have ever been to the Chicago area for a Portillo's Italian Beef, these are not the same. They are doing their own thing here, and it works !! Keep it up. I love Larry's and this was first time at this location. They don't have the big Kong on the wall at this one. They weren't very busy but were very friendly and good service. Food is made to order and it was hot and fresh and fast. I got the Jake's which is basically a Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms & onions. It was great. I also highly recommend their Cuban sandwiches. Make sure to ask for the pickle spear on the side. Always recommend Larry's Giant Subs and this location is no exception. read more

Stopped here on the way home to NC. Place was busy and good options on menu. I ordered a large Cuban which had a very small amount of meat (a very thin of ham and a thin slice of another meat - pork I guess) and way too much mustard. All I tasted was mustard and bread. My husband got a roast beef and cheese - again very little meat - thin layer of roast beef but tasted better. Bread was good. Disappointing since each cost $10. Potato salad was good. read more

The list of subs on this menu is so crazy, and they all sound delicious. There's even a separate menu just for Italian subs because they have like 10 diff versions! I was so excited to try something, so I went with "The Animal" from the Hot Subs menu - roasted turkey, ham, and provolone with lettuce, tomato & onion. I got it with Italian dressing. Well, I am sad to say this sub was really sub-par. I'm not sure there was even any Italian dressing on it as I had to add salt, pepper, & my own Italian dressing to it once I got home. It also wasn't heated through very well and I had to throw it in the microwave to melt the cheese the rest of the way. Maybe I caught them on a bad night ? Not sure, but this will probably be my first & last experience with Larry's. read more

I got the Italian beef and was overall satisfied with it. It could have been a little hotter as it was just lukewarm. The au jus was amazingly good! Good flavor overall. My son liked his roast beef sandwich and my other son did enjoy his turkey breast sandwich. My wife loved her gluten-free chicken breast sandwich, but charging $4.25 extra for gluten-free bread is outrageous! Why so much of an upcharge? The place was clean and they were practicing social distancing at this time. Upon walking out of the establishment we did see two adult rats scurrying across the front door. Great place and very clean. I looked at the counter tops, tables, and the back area prep tables all very clean. I love good cold sandwiches especially Jersey style and this place comes very close to the delicatessan in most north metro areas-New York and New Jersey. The service was fast and exact.
