Larry's was for sure my go to for subs back in college. The number of late nights going through the drive through at the Southside location I couldn't even count. It has now but probably 9 years since my last time. I will say Peruvian Sauce is still a good to there. I guess it's the sauce of Jacksonville I started of with my go to, the Original Philly Cheesesteak with White American and onions. I will say it wasn't as good as I remember it being in college. They use sirloin steak and not your typical ribeye so the meat was for sure more tough. Again wasn't terrible but for sure could have been better. I will say though that the onions on it were great. We also tried the Kong's Club cause some on who doesn't love a good club. I will say this one too was just OK. They lay the meat flat so it hangs over both sides of the sub. I guess they don't you the cold cut fold to lay down the meat. Again this sub wasn't bad just didn't wow me at all was just average. I will say they have so many options for subs and sandwiches I'm sure we will be back to try something new.

Ordered the destroyer and the corn beef Ruben, and both were very delicious. Would have given them five stars, but there were no napkins in the bag. I ordered large sandwiches and the total was 28.79 after tax

Yay it's finally open by the Planet Fitness on Old St Augustine Road. Nice to have around the corner. (I used to send my husband to drive over to Deerwood location Southside). They just opened and decided to give them a try. It's one of those afternoons and you don't know what to get but you know you need to eat because it's almost 3:30. I kept it simple ordering the ham and cheese sub. Highly recommend. Fresh bread! Great ingredients!

Let me start by saying I am OBSESSED with Larry's. I moved from Jax for a while and every time we came in town, we HAD to eat at Larry's. When we moved back to the area a few years ago, I was so disappointed to see the Mandarin location closed!! :( I was stoked to see the "Coming Soon" to this location. Today I went with my son around 11:45. When we first came in all of the tables were taken, but one cleared before we sat. The staff at the register was very friendly and informative, he even asked if I wanted a pickle (I always say yes to the pickle!). The sandwiches came out fast and they did not disappoint! Yum! I will definitely be frequenting this location. For not being open long, they totally have it together!

Hubs & son love wings. I do not. They're messy, and I don't usually like to eat chicken skin…read more Bonchon may have changed my mind. Visiting my son & DIL this past weekend, both of my son's dining suggestions were wing-focused. But my vegetarian DIL (she eats some seafood) seemed to be more interested in Bonchon than the other potential spot, so I took her side to make our choice. I can usually find something to eat on any menu, in spite of my immature palette, and Bonchon was no exception. In fact, there are several other things I want to try now! We started with the Korean Cucumber Salad & Bao Buns with Pork Belly. No one that knows me will be surprised that the cucumber salad was much too hot for me. But here is something unexpected... I loved the cole slaw on the Bao Bun, and the sauces were complementary enough that the spice level was fine for me. I would definitely order the Bao Buns again, and try the other meats. For my meal, I ordered the Bibimbap with Bulgogi, and really enjoyed it. Their marinated beef was very tasty, and of course I love an egg on just about anything. Another (non)shock, I did not care for the Bibimbap Sauce because it was rather hot; I appreciated that it was served on the side. Hubs said the mushrooms & caramelized onions were very good, but I didn't eat either. Then I tried a Classic Crunch drumstick, and fell in love! Yes, I bit into it like y'all do, and ate the skin, too. What a delicious piece of chicken! I didn't even need a dipping sauce (& I can't remember what the boys chose anyway). My son insisted that I'd enjoy a Korean BBQ wing also, and I'm sure I would, but I was already getting full. Next time! Also for my next visit, my DIL got a Mopo Corndog as her appetizer (though she also ate a lot of the cucumber salad), and it looked amazing! The name was confusing (to me), but there is no hot dog inside, so I want to try one. Fried mozzarella & potato cubes! They have two versions, so of course I want to try both; although I'm rather skeptical about the sugar-cinnamon coating, I'm anticipating an unexpectedly delicious bite. Service was fantastic, although they weren't very busy yet on this Saturday evening. Our server was very attentive & friendly, and none of us waited for a new drink or refill. My son & DIL evidently visit often, so I'm sure we'll return. I wish we had a Bonchon location closer to us!

I ordered their cinnamon roll, and it was so yummy (and I'm a stickler for a good cinnamon roll)! I also ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on Texas toast with hash-browns. The sandwich was great, but will I say the hashbrowns were just OK -- I'll probably go with the country potatoes next time. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience I would definitely come back. *I didn't get a pic of the cinnamon roll, but, trust me, it was good!

The overall vibes were casual in a nice way -- nothing too aggressively themed, just a good and bright breakfast spot. Our server, Bonnie, was friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering a hodge podge of breakfast items: eggs over medium, hash browns, cheese grits, a waffle, and a blueberry muffin split and grilled. My mom got an egg sandwich with grits and vegetarian sausage (yay!). Our food came pretty quickly, and I hoovered up everything on my plate. Everything tasted the way you'd expect: just good breakfast food. The hash browns had a crisp top, which is vital for me. The malted waffle stood out the most; I could smell it the second our server walked out of the kitchen with it and I ate the whole thing, even though I frequently split a waffle and take half home for later. The muffin was good, but a special shoutout for the option to have it split, buttered, and lightly grilled. I immediately requested my mom start trying that with her own blueberry muffins next time I'm over. It's a little pricey, but what isn't these days? It sure hit the spot.

We ordered the samba plate, which allows you to pick any 3 meats, so we selected picanha (cooked rare), shrimp, and sausage. Unfortunately, the steak ended up being closer to well done by the time we made it back to the house, but I think that's just the cost of taking steak to-go, and not necessarily the fault of the restaurant or chef since it's natural for it to continue cooking inside of the styrofoam box. Temperature aside, the flavor and quality of the meat was great, and you receive a very generous portion for the price. Along with the samba plate, we ordered steak fries and empanadas. Although the steak fries were pretty plain.. basically just steak plopped on top of fries, they were delicious, especially with the creamy herb sauce that is served with them. The empanadas were ginormous, and I like that the dough almost flaky rather than being super thick. We were very pleased with Brazilicious and will definitely hit them up again next time!

They have a nice menu with a variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings, fries and onion rings, and Fountain drinks and milkshakes!! I was so wrapped up in explaining this to very patient counterlady McKenzie (I believe) that I forgot to ask for lettuce and tomato. When it arrived at the table--brought singly out by Fernando (I believe)--I realized that I hadn't asked for the lettuce or tomato and I mumbled that to myself. But, I did not ask outright!
