Let me say that when I receive "above and beyond" service, I try to let everyone know! And, so it is that I relate my first experience with Burger Barn! They have a nice menu with a variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings, fries and onion rings, and Fountain drinks and milkshakes!! But I am so limited in what I may eat, that I had to ask for a plain hamburger and grilled mushrooms--cooked on a space that that was freshly cleaned off on the grill. I was so wrapped up in explaining this to very patient counterlady McKenzie (I believe) that I forgot to ask for lettuce and tomato. When it arrived at the table--brought singly out by Fernando (I believe)--I realized that I hadn't asked for the lettuce or tomato and I mumbled that to myself. But, I did not ask outright! Lo and behold, not a minute later Fernando appears with a plate of lettuce and tomato. How terrifically caring is that!?!?! And my burger was perfectly cooked and I did not have a bad reaction which means McKenzie got all the instructions exactly right and the chefs did exactly right, too! I thank all the staff very much! My family who was with me enjoyed all their selections, including fries and onion rings. My grandson's milkshake disappeared quickly. (You can get alcohol there, too.) After church, I decided to take the family out for a quick bite to eat. My grandkids do not eat everything so we settle on Burger Barn grill. Service was impeccable from ordering, service and follow up by workers and even the manager. For a burger joint, this is first class. My son is active military so we got a discount. I had the southwest burger which was rich and savory. I would have like my bun toasted that is just me. Also, I ordered fries which had a nice seasoning and were very crisp. I washed it all down with a cookie and cream shake. Our first time at Burger barn. The interior had a old country feel. The menu was a sight for sore eyes. It was big, bold and right in your face. Was looking for a new place to try while we were in the area after a doctor's appt. Came across this place after seeing the raving yelp reviews. Located within a strip mall with ample parking. As you enter it definitely has the Barn theme going on and was pleasantly decorated appropriately. I was surprised how huge it was inside and with the high ceilings. You approach a menu board and order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. I tried a specialty burger called the Hangover burger and my wife tried the Black and Blue. With a large side order of onion rings and a special sauce dip. Both burgers were cooked perfectly. My burger had bacon on it which actually overwhelmed the taste of the burger. The onion rings were recommended by the order taker when we asked for recommendations and they didn't disappoint. The seating inside is somewhat odd especially with a large section of empty space between tables. You could have dance off between the space. It wasn't that busy when we came in and with the large open space I could see food under the tables on the opposite side. It was around 1:30 when we sat down so they had ample time to clean up between the waves of guests. Service at the register from Mikayla was friendly. Prices averaged about $20 a person including drinks, tax and tip. There are plenty of beverage choices at the drink fountains, they should probably put some artificial sweeteners next to the iced tea machines. The vibe is a bit too dark wood for me, but not bad overall. Bench seating could benefit from thicker cushioning. The bathroom was clean. The parking lot has plenty of available space. Overall, I'd stop by again if I was in the mood for a burger before the movie, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way. read more

My wife and I doordashed burgers from Burger Barn Grill and I, having never eaten there before, was expecting a fairly sized thick burger, similar to what The Loop serves. However, that was not the case at all. BBG's burgers were extremely thin and were very disappointing. As a hardworking couple, we don't mind paying the price for a good burger that will fill you up, but not one that is so thin it could easily be hidden underneath the lettuce and tomato. We came here on a whim for dinner. I had a hankering for a burger and haven't been here in a while, so I was excited to try it again. Burger Barn is a fast casual concept, meaning you order at the front, then grab your number, grab a seat, and then someone brings your food to your table. I ordered a build your own burger with pepperjack cheese and bacon and my husband and I shared a side of fries. He ordered the hangover burger, which comes with a fried egg, and my kiddo got the mac and cheese. We didn't wait too long for our food and when it came out I was excited to dig into my burger. It was juicy, it was perfectly cooked. When it comes to burgers, I'm more of a smashed burger fan, so this was right up my alley. I loved everything about it, so it was a five out of five in my book. Their prices were reasonable and you didn't feel like you're breaking the bank to have dinner. My husband loved his burger and the fries were fried to perfection. WOW!! We had a great dining experience at the Burger Barn Grill!! Loved the iron decor at the entrance. We walked in and placed our orders at the counter, took our drink cups to be filled (biodegradable products!) and after a short wait our food was delivered to our table. The burger was excellent! Perfectly cooked, juicy but not greasy. The sweet potato fries were waffle fries and they were awesome! Delicious flavor and perfectly crispy. The booths were spacious yet private for your group. This is our first time here. We are seeing a movie right after this so the location is ideal. The place had plenty of people eating but still we did not have to wait at 130 PM on Black Friday to place our order. This place is expensive since everything is a-la-carte and there is an additional .5% sales tax added to the order that this complex collects. This is cited in the cash register where you order. The theme of this restaurant is US military crashing into farm tools and barn motifs. Doesn't really work as an aesthetic style because it is not "designed" like it does at Mission BBQ so the vibe is like that of a local diner (POV) Food comes very quickly to your table by a staff person and the take your trash as well. The burgers are 5.2 ounces here. We made our onion ring choice between a regular (8) vs the large which has (13) rings. We ordered the Southwest burger and single bacon with one order of large onion rings and 1 soda. This came to $30. The burgers and the beer battered rings were delicious. The burgers were cooked to the liking of the chef, the lettuce was Boston Bibb, the tomatoes were ripe. The bun was not toasted or seasoned which would have made it more elevated for me. The southwest was (good) messy because of the ingredients so it needed the toasting and to keep the bun from getting so wet. The real bacon was thick cut and cooked perfectly. My hubby loved the char flavor on the burger and just over all thought it was a great burger. Their fry sauce that comes with the rings was tasty. There are only 1 bathroom for each male and female. My family stopped here on a whim. The burgers were very flavorful. They have a different variety than your typical burger place. I got the black and bleu burger. I love blue cheese, but there was a little too much blue cheese. The burgers are separate from fries and other sides. They do sell beer and wine as well. It's a very casual place. Let me preface this by saying I ordered delivery the last time and have visited the place once before that. Im totally a burger fan, so I'm always looking to see if there are new places out there that can make a great burger. I have been a little disappointed so far with this place, though. The burgers are a little mushy without a lot of flavor along with the fries being similar. I also expect more than one slice of cheese on a double cheeseburger. Overall, I just haven't been impressed and wouldn't likely revisit over my other go-to options in the area. After hearing some buzz about this place my girlfriend and I decided to check this place out. First off, the decor to this place was absolutely on point. Inside it literally looked like a barn with even the workers wearing flannel shirts. So I thought that idea was really cool. Now on to the food, this is where I only gave it 3 stars. I gave it that score because when you think of going to a burger establishment you think of how juicy and great the burger will taste. In Burger Barn, I took a bite out of my burger and then a second and with the third coming fast and I tasted everything in my burger except for the burger. It threw me in a little of a loop because my burger came with bacon and a spicy chipotle Mayo and that was fantastic but when it came down to the burger I got nothing. Unfortunately, the sides were better than the actual burgers. Their Onion Rings were really good and the onion rings sauce they give you that comes with it was Fantastic. We also ordered the bacon cheese fries which were good but their was something missing to the loaded cheese and bacon fries which her and I couldn't pin point it. I will always give places a second chance, because you never know. So I will give it another shot when I'm around in the area again. read more

The wife and I knew we wanted burgers. We normally go to Five Guys but knew another place had recently opened in the area so we figured we would give Burger Barn a try. After looking over the menu I was pretty impressed. A number of specialty burgers, multiple cheese options, toppings, as well as a lot of different sauces to put on your burger. I decided to keep it pretty simple. I went with a Double Cheeseburger with American Cheese, added bacon, LTO, and Garlic Aioli. I also had to get a large order of the onion rings since I love them and saw they have an onion ring sauce so I had to have that too. When I came to pick up my food everything was ready which was great. Quickly went home and everything looked great. I dug into my burger and it was amazing. Gotta say I think I liked it better then Five Guys!!!! The onion rings we also awesome and the sauce for them was perfect. Will for sure be going here more. Pleasantly surprised by this quickie burger joint! We had a last minute change of plans and stopped in for a Father's Day dinner. Long story short: Burgers were delicious- family got 1 double patty with bacon, 1 single, 1 single with cheese, and 3 fries and 1 onion ring. Fries were phenomenal and I'm very critical of French fries, but with this being more of a quick stop style I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were! You can order any way you like it with the "build your own" option, or you can try one of their unique specialty burgers. I personally had the Waboo and it was really good. I chose to have a side of onion rings and they were delicious. My friend had the fries and they were spiced to perfection. Heads up! This is the type of place where you go to the counter to order and they bring it out to you. In addition, you get your own drinks, etc. With this type of place/ordering style, you are put on the spot to produce a tip when you pay even though you haven't received any service yet and you are going to be waiting on yourself for the most part anyway. I'm not a fan of this style, but I would return because that burger was pretty yummy. There is indoor & outdoor seating and restrooms are available.
