The only thing I know they did was the oil change requested-- for the rest of my work order I have no idea. Not to mention-- my brakes were replaced and there is now damage to my passenger side front bumper, and so much plastic sticks out into my wheel well that it has been scraping and damaging my wheel! I am a student-- i did not need even more problems to my car than what I started with. I even called back to let them know what work had not been completed-- it has been a week and I have heard NOTHING back. Please get organized y'all, and do what was promised! The mechanic kind of begrudgingly did, but he did it quickly and then honestly told me what the issue was, reset the code and sent me on my way. $0 dollars. Old town automotive should be avoided at all costs. Not trustworthy. I asked them if they could quickly check the code. She told me how much a full diagnostic was ($200) I should have left then. After the "full diagnostic" When I asked if they would charge me a "partial diagnostic" she said no. I asked for the Yelp check in discount $10 or $20 maybe? no. AAA discount ? No. After asking if the was anything she could do to help me out she finally caved and gave me the aaa discount because she "doesn't even subscribe to Yelp and can't understand them on the phone half the time." I don't know if it's worth noting... THE ONLY REASON I WAS THERE WAS BECAUSE OF YELP, It was 10 or $20 discount and they were already ripping me off... This review is to comment on the customer service that I received from Northside Auto repair. I am…read morenot able to comment on the quality of work they perform as I was not able to get that far to have any work done. On March 26 I went to Northside in person to make an appointment to have my car serviced. I gave them a list of what needed to be done which was only standard recommended routine maintenance. I was told to bring my car in by 7:30 AM March 28th and to plan on two to two and a half hours to perform the work. Got my car there at 7:30. At 12:00 I had not received any information on the status of the service being done. I gave them a call and all I got was a recording. Left a message and waited till 1:00 for return call. I called again and got no answer, left another message. At 2:30 a friend took me up to check on what was going on. I went into the office and the guy I had been dealing with (wish I had gotten his name), was sitting there eating his lunch. He told me that he had gotten my messages and was going to get back to me when he was through eating. Apologized for my car not being taken care of yet but they were ready to get in shortly. At 3:10 we drove by again and my car was still sitting outside. Went in and got another apology and said they are going get in now. Told him not to bother as I was taking my car. Then he had the nerve to ask me if Monday would work for me. You can imagine what my response was. Will never be able to review the quality of work they perform.

After inspecting the car, they confirmed the exhaust issue and referred me to an exhaust specialist. They said that the specialist would be able to better attend to the issue and do the job for less $. One Stop didn't even charge me for the diagnosis. They had a list of $1800 of "urgent" repair one of which was new brakes, a complete brake job which I had done in the previous 6 months. When I dropped the car off the coolant tank was full, it was hot out, when I got the car back they said I had a coolant leak and the tank was empty however I have cardboard on floor go the garage so I can tell of something is leaking sign of leaking.
