And leaving TK our daughter is completely autonomous, has high self esteem, knows how to take turns, knows way more about geography and other cultures than most Americans, knows how to read probably at second grade level, and was starting with place value and multiplication understanding. Compared to other kids her age and even my own son who didn't attend this school, the difference is huge. Her whole class is at another level, so you know is the school and the incredible leadership of Ms Naveeda and Ms Noreen, who are not just management. They have been part of my child's education constantly, joining all may parent teacher conferences. My child loves math, science, dance, and reading because of them. Don't fall for bigger establishments or other amenities. Look for great educators which is what you get here.

My daughter was taught kindness, honesty, giving back to the less fortunate and how important it is to respect all cultures and people. The owner Kelley is truly a gift. She has created a family dynamic on campus that is felt in every class. To our surprise, many schools do not use an app. The extracurricular activities are so engaging - I like that they bring an outside coach to engage the kids in sports, Mr. George for music, and Ms Brittany for reading. The meals are also great. My son is open to eating a variety of food as a result of the meals serve at the school. In terms of academics, my almost 4 year old can count to 40, knows the ABCs and write his name. All in all, LGA makes life easy for parents, especially working parents. My husband and I absolutely love Larsons and would highly recommend them to everyone!!! Both of my sons go there and my daughter will be starting this June - can't wait! We love the staff - they are energetic, fun, and do a great job with the kids. You can really tell they LOVE kids and LOVE what they do. We love the facility - It's conveniently located and has bright, large rooms. They have great play yards separated appropriately for the kids. We love the activities - All activities, including art, stories, toys, etc. are age-appropriate. In addition, they put together a spring performance once a year and have parents-night -out a couple times a year which we always take advantage of. My kids love being there and often time I need to convince them that it's time to go home. Great Job Larsons! read more

I started sending my daughter to Larson's 5 years ago and it was the best decision I could have made for my kids and my family. My daughter was signed up at another preschool, but some recommended I look into Larson's. From the moment we walked into the preschool, I knew this is where I would send my children. The teachers and directors engage with the children, they teach, play, and give hugs when needed. I never worry when my kids are there because they love to go. If there are any concerns a teacher or director will call you. They have a great learning program during the school year and are very creative with waterslides and carnivals in the summer. I feel so blessed that I found a place that feels like family and friends, not a business. I will be sad the day my kids don't go there anymore. read more

This is the best preschool in Danville (Larsons has won Best of the Bay on several occasions). I have had all of my 4 children there at some point over the past 8 years. The school has a clear plan to prepare the kids for elementary school. The staff has had little to no turn over which is a huge advantage for the kids. They treat all of the kids as if they are their own. The director has created a family atmosphere that insures that all the kids feel safe and gives the parents the confidence they need to leave their kids there during work hours. I believe they have a waiting list due to the fact they can provide such a unique experience but it would be worth it to take a tour if you need a second home for your children. read more

One of the biggest things that drew us in was something surprisingly hard to find--they welcomed both of our kids. When our daughter was just 16 months old and our son was 3.5, we were able to send them together, which was incredibly important to us. Many places don't accept younger children, so this alone meant the world--but it quickly became clear it was just the beginning of what makes this place special. The environment is genuinely warm and loving. Every child is seen, heard, and cared for in a way that feels personal. As a parent, you can tell this isn't just supervision--it's connection. Our kids come home happy, talking about their day, their friends, and what they learned. Another thing we really appreciate is how the classrooms are structured by age group. Each child gets to socialize and learn alongside peers at a similar stage, which has been great for their development. At the same time, during midday playtime, our two kids still get the chance to see and play with each other for a bit--which is something they both love. There's also an amazing variety of activities. From soccer to dance to music, they bring in specialized teachers who clearly love what they do, which adds so much depth and excitement to the kids' experience. It's not just playtime--it's enrichment in the best way. On a practical level, they make life easier for parents too. Providing snacks and meals takes a huge daily burden off our plate, and we've really appreciated the structure they teach the kids--everything from nap time routines to mealtime habits and even cleaning up after themselves. Those little lessons go a long way at home. One thing that truly stands out is the communication. Miss Mona is fantastic at keeping parents informed and connected--she consistently makes sure we're up to date on our children's progress and development. That level of transparency and care gives us so much confidence and peace of mind. And on a lighter note--they are amazing at making dads look good. I'll admit, I'm terrible at tying my daughter's hair, and there were definitely mornings where I sent her in with a very questionable, super loose ponytail. Somehow, by pickup time, it would be transformed into a perfectly done style--even a beautiful braid--making it look like I had everything under control. (For the record, mommy got the illusion... but none of that hair magic was done by dad!) We also love how they keep parents involved in the day-to-day moments. We regularly receive photos and videos throughout the week, and it means so much to get those glimpses into our kids' days--the smiles, the activities, and the little moments we'd otherwise miss. Beyond the care itself, they're incredibly practical for working families. Their pricing is very competitive, and they're open when many other schools are closed for holidays, which really helps minimize the amount of sick or vacation time we have to take off work. Their summer programs are another highlight--plenty of outdoor time, plus fun activities like water tables and slip-and-slides that the kids absolutely love. And when it comes to big milestones like potty training, they work closely with families to keep things consistent between home and school, which makes a huge difference. She let us know that she was going to be working with us to find solutions, but then that very same day called us to pick up our child letting us know that she could no longer have him at their school. We had two full time jobs and were left without daycare out of the blue which put us in an extremely difficult and stressful position to scramble to find a quality provider. Our son attended Bright Horizons Bishop Ranch from 11 months old. He did well in the infant and…read moretoddler rooms. The problems started when he moved to Early Preschool. What changed in Early Preschool: One teacher--despite 19+ years of experience--was routinely moody at drop-off, setting a tense tone. Multiple other parents shared similar concerns with us. The second teacher was kind but very early in her career and not confident with standard calming techniques or age-appropriate expectations for a 3-year-old. Typical behaviors--like distraction--were treated as extreme. The staff observed some behaviors in our son and asked us to seek evaluations. We trusted them and followed through; our son was later diagnosed with Level 1 Autism and began working with child-development therapists. While evaluations were in progress, we met several times with his teacher and admin. The push for a 1:1 aide began and continued, even as we shared therapist input and asked for simple classroom supports in the meantime. We organized joint calls between our therapists and Bright Horizons staff at the center's request. During one call, staff demanded an in-person classroom assessment by our therapists. We didn't like how that call was conducted but agreed because we wanted what was best for our son. During this same period, our son was kept in Early Preschool while other children with similar challenges (difficulty with 2-3 step directions, slow to calm) were moved up to Preschool. We raised this as inconsistent and explained he learns quickly from slightly older peers; that input was dismissed. Our therapists observed in the classroom and stated a 1:1 guide was not necessary. They found that vague instructions and compressed, chaotic transitions (post-nap snack potty outside within ~an hour) increased distraction for many kids, not just our son. They recommended simple, evidence-based supports for all students: post a visual schedule, use consistent positive recognition, and get down to a child's eye level when they were getting very distracted or were having an emotional time. We were told the eye-level approach was "too much attention required by the child", which is a basic requirement when dealing with children. We (and the therapists) also observed teachers trying to reason with children at the peak of an emotional outburst instead of using calming/co-regulation strategies. In a follow-up call that included the center director, the director spoke to our therapists in a way we found extremely rude and unnecessary (especially the Center Director). The therapists again stated, based on their in-person assessment, that our son did not need a 1:1 guide. Despite the in-person assessment and written recommendations, the center issued an ultimatum: hire a 1:1 within two weeks or they would "pause" his enrollment. Even more concerning, we were told the 1:1 could be anyone--a parent, friend, or nanny--no child-development background required. I should also mention I was about 6 weeks postpartum when they mentioned this. If a 1:1 were truly necessary for safety or learning, allowing any untrained adult didn't make sense. We decided to take him out of Bright Horizons and move to another school and my son is thriving, we haven't had any complaints at all from the new place. In fact some of the behaviors such as being distracted and requiring prompts/reminders are considered normal for a 3-4 year old here. Bottom line: The infant/toddler rooms were positive, but our Early Preschool experience showed uneven child-development understanding, inconsistent move-up standards, dismissal of simple inclusive supports, and a two-week 1:1 ultimatum that contradicted professional guidance. The child development therapists also looked at the center's requirements to move from Early Preschool to Preschool and mentioned that their expectations for a 3 year old are too high.

We left this school for a while because of the longer drive and tried a few other daycares closer…read moreto home -- and that experience made us realize just how special this place really is. We brought both of our kids back, and we couldn't be happier with that decision. The teachers here are highly qualified and experienced, and you can really see the difference it makes. They are so caring, patient, and genuinely invested in every child, creating a nurturing, safe, and positive environment where kids truly thrive. The staff is professional, warm, and consistent -- no turnover issues, which speaks to the strong management and culture here. Communication is always clear and timely, and the curriculum is rich and engaging. We can see our kids growing, learning, and coming home excited to share new things every day. The facility is bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed -- lots of windows, natural light, and a welcoming atmosphere. The playground is fantastic, with plenty of space and opportunities for outdoor play. After seeing how other centers operate, we have an even deeper appreciation for how well-run and high-quality this school is. We can't recommend it enough!

The daycare offers a warm, family-centered environment where all the teachers and staff are friendly, supportive, and incredibly accommodating. We've especially appreciated their flexibility when we needed it most. While there was a period of staff changes in mid-2024, Shilpa, the owner, was proactive in addressing our concerns and ensuring our son continued to receive the care and developmental support he needed. Thanks to their dedication, he's thriving and hitting all his developmental milestones. The curriculum is engaging and age-appropriate. Our son constantly surprises us with new things he's learned, from days of the week to counting to 100! We also love the regular updates through the mobile app, which make our post-pickup conversations more interactive and fun. Some of our favorite moments have been the Christmas concert (adorable chaos) put on by the teachers and the drop-in dance sessions, which give the kids a chance to burn off energy in a fun way. Our son might just become a professional breakdancer. haha. On top of all this, the cost is very reasonable, considering the full-day care, snacks/lunch provided, and overall quality of the program. I had a really weird experience with this school, but the main issue was with a "dance teacher" name Jamie Aston who was hosting some type of "Disney Camp", if that's what you call playing it's a small world and having them jump around with ribbons. My daughter went to try it out on her first day, it was so unstructured and ammeter, but was planning to let me kid participate for the remainder of the week if she had fun. By the next morning, I got this very tactless email (in photo) which I decided to just dump the class at that point bc why are you hassling me for $150 on her first day? Which is separate from the actual tuition and enrollment fees and you knew we were doing a trail run?? She asked my 2 yr old to tell the class about herself and was expecting her to answer questions that required actual stories and details... which shows lack of experience dealing with toddlers. I asked the Director Stephanie about how long she's been teaching dance and working with kids , and this is the response I got which clearly shows she discussed what I said to Jamie. The next day, she gave me a very nasty look, I asked her was there a problem and she was ready to combat, which she did I front of her class/ camp of 2 yr olds. It got so heated that I took my child completely out of the school in DAY 2! The administrative staff did nothing and allowed her to disrespect me, and no one ever contacted me after the fact so clearly they allow this behavior from a third party ... disappointing and completely unacceptable. As for the school itself, I was literally on the fence the whole time prior to this incident as I stayed for most of her first day to observe. I did like the price and that they have a cook that serves lunch, but hated their potty training system. They have your 2 yr old do it by themselves with no help, and they walk around with no underwear. One kid took his off and sat in their activity rug with it all out ( unsanitary) my daughter had never seen a penis until then. They didn't even notice yet unruffled, like a normal reoccurring thing . I could only imagine what goes on when a parent isn't around watching. Also, some staff were friendly and some were not, also seemed very young and inexperienced be running a class. There were a few other things k can't remember but will add if I do. Just know that you get what you pay for with this place.
