Excellent food all around. Large portions and freshness justify the price. Very nice owner/employees. Best carne street tacos in town.

The folks that serve from the truck are wonderful. The owner Matt is an absolute king of cuisine and also of customer care and service. Congratulations to him and his wife on his baby who was born last night. This little one has now extended his children to four little boys. Matt showed up for just a few minutes to open the food truck today. I caught him just in time to remind him of how good his food is, and to wish him continued success with the food truck and his growing family. I love Sauced Food Truck and think everyone should go out of their way to give it a try!!!

The lumpia is addicting and builds up in flavor. I think my only problem was the rice consistency, it was a bit mushy but the adobo sauce masked it mostly. The service was immaculate, despite being at an extremely busy medieval fair, I did not have to wait that long at all after ordering. As for ambiance, it doesn't really apply since it's a truck but the venue was fun. I do think the price for your lumpia is a bit much. 8 dollars for 3 is steep. All that said I still highly recommend this truck

Take the humble grain bowl using Ukrainian buckwheat "Kasha" with fermented vegetables. With the expert "curing" of the vegetables evident by taste, and glazed with a lovely nutty sauce, it is both simple, and yet profound. Similarly a recent soup of tomatillo and zuchini, cut by black beans, corn, and tortilla strips both tasted familiarly Mexican, but also stretched the palate and feel healthy like all traditional foods. Menu standards like the fermented "kimchi waffle fries", are fun to eat, but each week she introduces exciting and ecclectic plates - once "rabbit" was on the menu. This is exceptional food, but not in the rarefied, experimental way of expensive haute cuisines, rather they draw on deep cultural food traditions. The range of flavors is much more sophisticated and pleasing to my palate than anything else I have tasted across Kitsap county. The sauer kraut chocolate cake? wow. The fermented hot sauces? Delicious. The gyro plate with smoked beet baba-ganoush, and the adjika (Georgian savory herb) sauerkraut layered with tzatziki is a virtual Berlin nightclub party in the mouth. You can pair the food with exquisite house fermented kvass or kombuchas. I highly recommend the "linden blossom" one which is a traditional Ukrainian taste. The chef's sure hand embraces cooking techniques and spice combinations from not only the well-known Asian, Indian, Mexican and Mediterranean spectrum, but also extends to the more unusual such as The Republic of Georgia --one of the world's oldest wine producers and known for its incredible cuisine and food culture at the cross roads of central Asia and eastern Europe. My only sadness is their limited opening hours from Wednesday to Saturday and only until 7:00 pm. This food truck is worth traveling the ferry to Kingston from the east Puget Sound.

We had seen it for a long time and been meaning to try, but being workers with a long commute, the early closing time + limited schedule just didn't work for us. When we did get to go, the $20 salads just did not satisfy. Dinner for two rang at about $65 and all and it's just really too high a price for what you get, especially from a food truck. This place is very heavy on the legumes of all kinds, and on pickled and fermented goods. It's really their "thing". This ranges from the more typical (pickled veggies, kombucha, kimchi) to the really odd (sauerkraut chocolate cake, and such). There were Eastern European dishes, which was cool. Others were Mediterranean. So, a bit all over the place. If you are not a fan of pickled and fermented things, I'd suggest that you pass, because there's nothing on the menu for you!

I was so close to not making the trip, but glad I did. There is some parking outside, but there is also paid parking close by. The inside looks like your typical burger joint; limited seating, tiny counter, and 2 self-service spots where you can place your order. Not only do they serve burgers, they also sell local beers as well, given there is a brewery nearby. If you pick the right seat you could see them preparing your order. I ordered the "Firehouse Burger," and the name says it all! Regardless, this burger was huge and packed with flavor. I felt like I was about to break my jaw when I took my first bite. The patty was cooked perfectly with melted pepper jack cheese. Also included was jalapeño, which was done 3 ways: smoked, pickled and crispy. Their habanero was not only delicious, but also carried a kick to it l. I tried to add some vegan bacon, sadly they ran by the time I arrived. If you are ever in the Poulsbo, WA area, I would definitely suggest you stop by here. I doubt you will ever find a better a burger anywhere else.

Maybe about 10 seats. Being right on the waterfront, you really wanna get your food to go and eat outside. Service - self serve kiosk and a pick up window. That being said when doing food pickup they were really nice. Food - These were some hearty burgers. I had the kimchi burger, my fiance had the bacon burger. I didn't know until afterwards these were plant based! I would never have known. Burger was so good and juicy. We both also got fries, I had the garlic fries and I swear there was like a half cup of minced garlic on them lol no complaints. They also have some nice beer/cider selection. It was a little pricey but they delivered on a solid burger. Overall this was a perfect end to our day in Poulsbo. Grabbing food here and finding a bench on the water on a nice day, nothing beats that. If you're in Poulsbo, gotta stop here.

I know it sounds silly to say that chips can stand out, but the chips here have so much seasoning on them, and are always fresh. They don't come free, but they are well worth purchasing them for your table, and they still do free refills once you do. Also their birria tacos are amazing. They're huge and so full of meat, the consomme is delicious and flavorful. This place is one of my all time favorite mexican restaurants. Not sure what other people ordered to encounter "no flavor," but we spend a lot of time in CA and these have as much flavor as our go-to spots when visiting. I am normally weary of ordering chicken since places usually overcook it and it's dry, but that has only happened one time out of a number of visits. Out of the shrimp, steak, and asada that I've tried, the chicken and shrimp are our favorite! If you order the taco plate (4 tacos) you can mix-n-match what kind of meat you want. We find they have plenty of flavor. The chicken enchilada plate with rice and beans is also consistently good. Not sure why ordering 2 tacos with rice and beans costed noticeably more than the 4 taco plate, but it did so I don't do that anymore. The chips and salsa were just okay so we don't normally order that anymore. The horchata is awesome! We get this everytime. Parking: minimal spaces located next to a liquor store, but we always seem to find a spot when we stop by for dinner.
