Most authentic Mexican food in the area. My go to is the chicken tacos, always fresh. Delicious every time!!

I always revert back though to getting street tacos. And the steak, chicken, other meats, i love the carnitas. I never see anyone there when I show up. If you're in the neighborhood, visit the truck. I'm sure you'll find something delicious for your lunch or dinner.

This food truck came to…read moremy apartment complex, so I figured it would be quick and convenient--but it turned into the opposite. There were maybe 15 people in front of me--if that--and I still waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for my food. Meanwhile, people who ordered after me were getting their food before me, even though I only ordered one item. There was no organization at all. What really got me was that they didn't even tell me they ran out of what I ordered--I had to overhear them telling someone else. So after standing there for nearly two hours, I found out indirectly that I wasn't even getting my food. Then the refund made things even worse. I paid with a card, but they gave me cash back, which felt really unprofessional. And for the cherry on top, they dropped my change while handing it to me. What should've been a convenient stop right outside my apartment ended up being a complete waste of time. Definitely not worth it.

The folks that serve from the truck are wonderful. The owner Matt is an absolute king of cuisine and also of customer care and service. Congratulations to him and his wife on his baby who was born last night. This little one has now extended his children to four little boys. Matt showed up for just a few minutes to open the food truck today. I caught him just in time to remind him of how good his food is, and to wish him continued success with the food truck and his growing family. I love Sauced Food Truck and think everyone should go out of their way to give it a try!!!

The lumpia is addicting and builds up in flavor. I think my only problem was the rice consistency, it was a bit mushy but the adobo sauce masked it mostly. The service was immaculate, despite being at an extremely busy medieval fair, I did not have to wait that long at all after ordering. As for ambiance, it doesn't really apply since it's a truck but the venue was fun. I do think the price for your lumpia is a bit much. 8 dollars for 3 is steep. All that said I still highly recommend this truck

It had refried beans, rice, iceberg lettuce, chopped tomato, a bit of cilantro and sour cream designing on top. I think there was a sprinkle of cheese. It was filling enough, but not very exciting. I would expect whole beans in a salad, and pico de gallo or other dressing. My husband had a macho burrito with chicken. It was pretty large with lettuce, tomato chunks, raw onion, refried beans, rice, skimpy on melted chedder(?) cheese and enchilada sauce. It was just okay as well (and looked better than it tasted). We were both really hungry with minimal breakfast and this at 4:30.

The fish taco didn't look great, but tasted really good. The tamale was great. If I lived here, I'd buy a handful and keep some in the fridge for snacks. The California burrito with carnitas was really good. The fries inside were a nice touch. My only slight negative was they didn't put the salsa in the bag. It needed some extra salsa. The loaded fries with Al Pastor were also great and sinful. Loved the flavor of the pork- not as pineappley as some, but a really good rrich flavor. Well be back.

Service was good, no issues there as they were able to accommodate large party (8-10 ppl). The kids booster chairs were sticky and needed to be cleaned. We had to use a baby wipe to clean before using. Some of the items we got were the Macha Burrito which was bland and lacked seasoning of the chicken. The Steak & Fries (Carne Asada Fries for us SoCal) was a 2, not as promising as other reviews. We ordered this as an appetizer and majority of family passed once they saw it and the rest once they tried it. Ordered the quesadilla and fries for the kids, and it was the smallest size tortilla used... not an adult order let alone an order to share with kids. Other items ordered were the Cali Burrito which I was told was good, but "needed something" and the fajitas with chicken. Chicken was pounded flat and very dry. We were hoping for more as this was a place that had higher expectations due to reviews and we really wanted some good Mexican food. But it missed the mark and sad as we continue to find a Mexican shop that lives up to SoCal or at least close.
