    Rolled Taquitos
    Molly J.

5 Rolled taquitos for $9.99, and got a fish and shrimp burrito for $14.99. Price seems reasonable, staff is nice. Adequate parking and seating. Only reason I'm giving a 4/5 bc it's good but seems to need more sauce. My burrito and my husband's rolled taquitos were kind of dry. The salsa was good but a little too salty.

Yum Our first time here & we will be back when in Fallbrook We had a Carnitas quesadilla & a taco plate. All were good. They give you a little bit of chips & a different smoky tasting salsa. The place is pretty authentic , right out of Mexico. Red tile & stone table tops outside. Pet friendly too See you when we return to Fallbrook

The michelada (do not order) a meal costs less than this single drink.

Rip off. This was the most expensive michelada I have ever ordered in my life. They're actually cheaper in Las Vegas and in airports yet this little run down location is charging $17.24 for (1). Was it good? I mean it was ok, it wasn't worth 17.24, it was just a Pacifico. Additionally besides getting ripped off for $17.24, they also charged an additional 60 cents just for using my card. To put it into perspective. A 12 pack of Pacificos costs $13 dollars at Walmart.

3 enchiladas with carnitas. Onion and cheese. Tpped with 2 eggs over medium Almost Perfection... Almost like mom used to make!

The food, the service, the ambiance. Authentic to the core! I will most definitely return again and again.

The ladies at the register was sweet this is why I give one star. The food was absolutely disgusting. I order carne asada fries and two hard shell shredded beef tacos. First red flag was the taco shells were not homemade. Got home and opened the fries and literally no cheese and hardly any meat. Mind you I payed almost $30. This by far is the worst mexican food I have ever tasted and seen. Will definitely not be returning

    Combination plate #15

This is my favorite Mexican food in Fallbrook so far. The flavors and textures are fresh, flavorful, and feel so good; not overly salty like some other places. I ordered the combination plate #15 with green cheese enchilada, chile relleno, rice and beans. The chile relleno was almost as good as my suegra's who is from a little village in Mexico. I am usually disappointed when I order chile rellenos at other places because the egg is too fluffy, dense, dry or something is off. Not here, this was so delicious and authentic. Perfect! I also love the salad garnish to color the plate and add some good nutrients to the meal. The service is welcoming and quick. They give you chips and salsa to eat while you wait. The place is very clean, tidy, comfortable, colorful, and they play nice music at the perfect volume. And it's not the radio or TV with commercials like other places. I had a wonderful experience and I recommend you come try it for yourself.

Carne Asada Burrito w French fries.

Definitely a new favorite of mine!! Their Mexican food was amazing!! Very authentic! I love their open salsa bar options and the chips are complimentary. Seating is available inside and some tables outside. Parking can get filled during rush times. They have lots of options!! I got the 1 enchilada and 1 taco combo plate that came with rice and beans. So so good! The chicken enchilada with green sauce was so good! And my husband loved the California burrito! Very filling. I also love that they have horchata and jamaica to drink. So refreshing! I will definitely be back!

Flavorful ranchera rice & beans. Good flavor in meat.

Impulse stop leaving an event in Fallbrook. Polite service, big menu, quaint location. Food has promise. We were there late on a Sunday and it seemed like things were winding down. My burrito was tasty, abundant, could have been warmer, cheese didn't fully melt. Nachos, same thing, cheese was cold and just sitting there. Meats were good flavor. Will try again.

Chips and salsa were brought out right away as well as water. The chips, although greasy, were very crispy and tasty. The three flavors of salsa were a nice touch. Then we waited... Someone eventually came to take out order...didn't introduce herself, didn't ask if we had any questions about the menu/Taco Tuesday...just, "what can I get you"... We ordered the queso fundido app to start and then I ordered the fried fish taco, the shrimp taco and a side of refried beans along with a regular margarita. After taking my order, she started to walk away and then realized she hadn't taken the Hubs order...I mean, yes the restaurant was busy but wtf? The Hubs ordered the California burrito and all that was said was, "It comes with fries"... Then we waited... I noticed a lot of the patrons were regulars...having their orders taken right away, their drinks prepared right away and receiving exceptional service...while we waited. Finally, I received my margarita and then our fundido came out. The margarita was just that...a boring margarita that tasted more like a $5 happy hour margarita than the $10 margarita it was. The fundido was a huge bowl of bubbling cheese with balls of chorizo at the bottom, it was delicious...after we asked for more chips to eat it with (other restaurants usually serve tortillas with it, but, okay...) Then we waited.... My shrimp taco and side of beans arrived as did the Hubs burrito. The burrito was just a plain/dry burrito. I'm not sure why this wasn't mentioned with he ordered it and why adding toppings and/or sides was not suggested...but, okay... My shrimp taco and beans were very tasty... But wait, you exclaim...didn't you also order a fish taco? Why yes, yes I did!!! But, since NO ONE ever came to ask how or meal was or if we needed anything, it was impossible to let them know they forgot my taco. When the server saw that we were finished eating, she was quick to get out check...only then was I able to notify her of the missing taco by telling her to make sure it's not listed on check. At no point did she offer an apology, she just stated that we were not charged for it. The restaurant was busy, but not busy enough for the service to have been as bad as it was...also, there were plenty of servers in the restaurant as well as a couple of bussers and a bartender. Food: 8/10 (only because of the dry ass burrito) Drinks: 5/10 Service: 2/10 (only because of the good service we initially received)

I don't know how they make it and they won't tell me but they WILL sell it to you. I wish they had birria but birria isn't easy to find in many Mexican restaurants. The beans are good but a little bland. I had the Adobada taco which was absolutely out of this world. The red Chile spices were spot on. My lunch date had beef flautas which were delicious. I gave 4 stars simply because the green sauce is so amazing and you absolutely cannot find it anywhere else. We sat outside on the patio which was very pleasant. All the patrons at lunch were outside on the patio. The bathrooms are extremely clean although you do have to go outside the building around the back to use the restroom.
