I stopped in here for lunch with my parents. The food is really good and the place is busy with a lot of locals eating here. They have a large salsa bar with several different styles and spice levels. I had the enchilada special which was very good. The beans were nicely cooked and Spanish rice fresh. My dad tried the menudo. He was not a big fan but I liked it. The rolled taco's come heavily topped with everything and were a meal themselves. This place is definitely worth a stop. Service is friendly. The inside is crowded with tables so it can tight when it is full. I noticed a lot of signs limiting this and please do not this which I found interesting. This place is so annoying. Yes they have good carne asada. Yes they have good salsa. First of all they are very expensive for a taco shop. A burrito is $8 without guacamole. No guacamole in Fallbrook? Most places come with guacamole and the burritos are $4-5. Next there hours are a lie. It says 9am to 9pm. Try placing a pick up order at 8:20pm. They will say they are closed. Also, if you ask for the owner, you will get a different answer every time. One time Seli is the owner. The next time Jesus is the owner. Today when I called Marco was the owner? The last time I went we ordered $85 in food. We asked for chips while waiting. They said chips only come with dinners. I said we don't get dinners because none of us like the rice. There were five of us so I complained to owner number three. She brought us five chips and said, "Here you go!" Long story short if you are patient as Moses, are willing to pay double price for a burrito, and don't want a few chips while waiting then go here. This is my first review for this place but I have been here in multiple occasions. The main thing keeping me from giving them a five star review is their prices. They have printed prices on their menu but at the cash register they have an index card stating that their prices vary DAILY. Besides that I love getting the 3 street tacos plate. My favorite tacos to get from here are the Adobada. I think it's the best I've had since I've been to SoCal. Also tried the Horchata wasn't the best because they probably use water instead of milk in their mix. I will come back. read more

Went in for lunch. I had 3 tacos a la carte. 1 carne asada taco, 1 adobada taco, and 1 carnitas taco. They were delicious. One of the best tacos I've had in SoCal. The carnitas were so moist and had those crunchy delicious bits. The carne asada was sooooo good too. The meat was seasoned well. The adobada was a little spicy for me but still good. I have a low tolerance for spicy foods so I'm sure it's not actually super spicy. They had a salsa bar so you can choose your own salsa. I also had a delicious horchata with my lunch. Amazing family run business! We were looking for Pedro's tacos, but the street number was wrong on Yelp and we ended up here. Tiny grocery and meat store on the right, restaurant on the left. Super nice service, EXCELLENT salsa bar, which I always add at least a star for, but the food and service earned earned those easily. Not wanting fish for breakfast, I asked if they had al pastor, though not on the menu, they did, I got a taco, it was almost burrito sized and so amazingly good! Freshly made tortilla (I asked for flour instead of corn) the meat had a great flavor and charred a bit just like I like it. That with the pico from their bar, I was in heaven! My husband had the chorizo, egg and cheese burrito and LOVED IT! He went on how the egg was just cooked so perfectly and how he doesn't usually enjoy chorizo, but THIS was worth driving back for! I saw on multiple occasions the cashier clear off dirty tables, handle money, and work the register and THEN grab tortilla chips with her bare hands and serve them. I am pregnant and when I saw that I was absolutely DISGUSTED. Came here out as a spontaneous try. Turns out this is probably the best street tacos I've ever had. Enough to have 7 tacos! They make it fresh and let you make your own personal taco with fresh condiments like cilantro, cabbage, onions, beans,limes, and different sauces. Cash only which is no problem! The most authentic, flavorful tacos that I've had. We ordered the classic asada, adobada, chorizo, and carnitas. All too good to choose one favorite.
